I would like to start by saying I have never had an issue with ATT service and this review is notabout the service, but about the store and ATT Policies / money gub. For backstory I use there prepaid $40 bucks a month plan unmimted talk, text and 15 gb of fast data- it slows down unlimited. Which works for me, I prefer to buy my phone out right. ( that's just me ). I was told I wasn't able to go in by the phone out right that they do not do that, but I have always done that. I understand 4 year is a long time and things changed. This store was not friendly on the phone when I called and asked if they had the one I wanted and if I could pay full price. They had ASKED THE manger. The MANGER OKED. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Bart, I explained I came to purchase a new phone. He said I couldn't just by it, never asked if I had a plan. And I said why I could by it online. When I mention who we spoke to on the phone, he finally let me purchased the phone and put it on my prepaid plan. The whole time he was stand off-ish hardly looked at me, acted like when I didn't say what gig phone I wanted as the first word was so dumb of me. Since I didn't plan on going in after work, I didn't bring the phone case I got in, BART treaded me like inconvenient, and the way his body language spoke about me was different, when he asked if I wanted to see any cases I probably would have gotten one. Only once I got home I realized BART WAS THE MANGER. As an manger there is no way he should have treated anyone that way, especially someone who is coming in off the streets and was willing to easily put down over a thousand dollars on a phone. I could have switched plan, upgraded, if sales associates was truly trying to sell you something, but no I got treated like red headed stepchild. read more

Walked in today to purchase the iPhone X and some accessories and was ignored for about ten minutes. Everyone was busy with customers and there was one lady in line ahead of me. After ten minutes of standing there wondering what to do, another gentlemen walked in behind me. Then one of the reps finally addressed me and said they would get me checked in shortly. I said "no problem, thanks!" The lady that was ahead of me got service and then finished up. Then the rep that was waiting on her decided to help the guy who walked in after me. No wonder why people are moving to online shopping. I walked out after that and will be making my purchases online from ATT or maybe Best Buy from now on. Thanks for nothing...have a good day! Store still never contacted me like Att said they would. Ended up switching over to Verizon. read more

Slower than molasses. You're never going to get in and out. It's going to take an hour, no matter how simple your request is, no matter how little work it takes. An hour. I only suggest making an appointment for the time the store opens when you're going in. Then at least you won't have to wait for them to be slow with a bunch of other people. read more

Poor customer service. I came in with my wife to buy her a new iPhone and add her to my AT&T plan and the man who was working seemed entirely unwilling to help. I told him we didn't have my wife's mom's social security number (because my wife was switching from her mom's plan to mine) but we had all the other necessary information. He then proceeded with a condescending analogy of how switching phone plans is like going to a bank and we need all the right information. So we left and called AT&T customer service, which was able to help us out in 5 minutes without my mother-in-law's SS number. We got the phone 5 days later and my wife is now on my plan. But none of this is thanks to AT&T store on DuPont. I would think the sales staff would at least try to help rather than brush customers off. If not for good telephone customer service I may have switched providers. read more

We drove up 10 minutes to close just to ask a question. We didn't even get out of the car yet but I saw everyone of the workers look at us. One pointed our direction and then the other walks up to the windows and pulls the gates closed, locked the door and then switched off the OPEN sign. We were thinking of switching carriers but after this I want no part of AT&T. If you advertise that you close at 9:00 you should close at 9:00. Not at 8:50 because you don't want to work. read more

So my husband and I switched plans to AT&T almost 3 months ago. We signed up in our local Sam's Club in Delaware with John who is the manager. We were told with signing up our activation fees for our 4 lines would be waived, we would be getting a discount for being Sam's Club members, we would be getting the nurses discount, and a $1100 credit for trading in 2 of our phones. We were told our bill would be $115-120 for all 4 of our lines needless to say that has not happened. We have been charged our activation fees as well as auto pay and paperless billing which we were enrolled in from the beginning of our term and the list goes on from other bogus charges that have been slipped into our bill. Needless to say we have been having problems with our bill since we switched. Our first bill was around $480, our second bill was $185 and now after checking yesterday my third bill due is going to be over $900! I have been talking with customer service, the escalations team, and multiple managers from this department since July (3 weeks now). I have still not gotten a resolution to my problem and I have talked to between 6-10 different people. Every time I talk to Sony they have to put a request in and it takes 1-3 business days for it to be answered or for someone to get back to me. But it didn't take those 1-3 business days for you to take my money. I have been given the run around and have not gotten any answers from any one as to why my bill is so expensive, when will I be getting my discount and credit and how can I can my credit for the overpayment of my first 2 bills that have been payed. If you want to switch your service please don't switch to AT&T they are a complete joke and you never get the same answer twice. I will never recommend this company! Please to save yourself time, money and the headache switch to anyone but them! read more

I went here to change my phone plan and my parents have dealt with AT&T for many years. This is the first time I actually had an issue with a AT&T store. They didn't tell me most of the information I should have been provided and now I have to pay $50 extra because of the information I was not provided. This is also my first time changing plans and dealing with a phone company on my own. I was very upset when I found out. I will never do business at that AT&T ever again. read more
