The ability to call and speak to a live person is nearly impossible without having to lie and manipulate the Ai system or robot operators. It is ridiculous to say the absolute least. Trying to handle stuff that isn't available to handle online and zero ability to do so. Switched services and glad I did. Im leaving this review because my dad and I had the most amazing customer service experience with Allen. He went above and beyond to help us find the right phones, learn about deals we were eligible for, and set up our new devices. He was patient, positive, and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. My dad even left the store forgetting his ID and when he returned after the store just when they closed, Allen was still there with his ID safe and sound. All around AT&T in EDH is blessed to have such a great team member. We are happy using our new devices with newly installed screen protectors :) read more

We were sold on insurance that you pay monthly. Phone is 7 months old, the screen stopped working. The El Dorado Hills ATT store told us they could not help us, to go to a different store. Terrible customer service and we called ATT customer support who confirmed this is NOT the way things should be handled. read more

Avoid these guys. They: 1) said they would give $800 credit each on 2 phones, instead gave $750. When I asked them about it, they said 'my bad' but they could do nothing about it. 2) signed me up for the Next up program ($5 extra each month) without saying anything to me about it. 3) Said i would make up the Missing $50 credit at the end of the agreement. The credits only total the $750 that they gave me. 4) Said they would have the "manager" give me a call to work it out. Never got a call. Either these guys knowingly are doing scetchy things or they don't understand what they are doing...either way avoid. read more

Nice guys but always understaffed, be prepared to wait a while when going here. Also, they aren't very knowledgeable about the service plans like at a corp owned ATT store. They suggested a new plan that would save me money when I added a new line to my account recently. The next day I found out a key feature was missing from my new plan allowing me to tether other devices from my phone. When I'm went back the next day they told me that shouldn't have happened and told me to call customer service instead of helping me. After calling I found out that tethering isn't supported on the plan they suggested. They should have told me this before making the suggestion. Poor service, I won't be going back here. read more

I have been an AT&T customer for 25 years and have never been treated as rudely as I was by this store's manager, Matthew. He had a terrible attitude and was not interested whatsoever in customer service. We traded two phones in and were sent to a repair shop twice to fix the small issues with the phones so we could turn them in and get credit. My husband was sent to repair this particular phone TWO times. When I went to turn it in, Matthew told me the back is cracked and it can't be turned in like that. When I asked why that was t mentioned to us by Alan, he said it doesn't matter what they told us. I would not have been mad about that; I'm furious over his attitude. If you don't want to deal with people, GET OUT of customer service!! I called in to his GM and I hope he gets replaced. Our community deserves better from AT&T. read more

Every time I go into this store, there are new employees. One day I called to see if I could use an old iPhone as a hot spot, and the kid said no and we had to buy or use theirs, I understand commission, but seriously?. I went in and they said no problem! Then I wanted to transfer my phone to another account on multiple occasions, the first time: "I'm sorry the primary account owner needs to be here" Even though I'm an authorized user. The second time: "I'm sorry, I'm not sure how to do that. My system isn't letting me." Wtf?! I called att and they were able to help me in no time. I guess it's partly my fault for not calling, but this place is a joke and the guys there are so clueless. Never going there again. It's just quite unfortunate because that's the closest store to me. read more

You cannot trust this store! The representative lied to us. He told us that the iPhone we purchased was paid for in full. Next, I visited the AT&T store in Folsom only to learn that the AT&T store in El Dorado Hills is an authorized retailer and the AT&T store in Folsom is a corporate AT&T location. Well, that makes a huge difference. The manager of the AT&T store was top notch. I wish I could locate his name. He was very professional and patient with me given how upset I was to learn that the representative in El Dorado Hills lied to me about the phone being paid in full in front of both myself and my son. If you want to get the worst customer service you have ever had, sign up for uverse from at&t. I have had several issues with my internet service or lack of. At&t took about two weeks and five different technicians before last problem was fixed. When we signed up, were promised complementary gift cards but never got them. They do not return phone calls. On a Fri we were told we would be called back on Mon without fail. That never happened. We are currently having issues with internet functioning sporadically, so have many days or hours of not being able to get online. We are always charged the full bill even though we frequently are not able to use what we are paying for. Currently we are awaiting an appoint 5 days out. When contract is up, we will be so happy to tell this co. goodby Please not this review is not pertaining to this one particular business. read more

I went to this particular AT&T store after looking at the reviews of many of the other AT&T stores on the west slope, most of which were negative. The El Dorado Hills store, however, had only one review (by Mark P.), but it was positive. After going to the store and talking with Jeff, I am in complete agreement that this store (at least if Jeff is the person with whom you deal) is a 5-star operation. I had an equipment issue that, it turned out, could only be resolved at a higher corporate level, but Jeff spent at least 15 minutes with me working through the issue and advising me as to how to get to that appropriate corporate level.
