When I went back to Verizon customer service they said the best they could do is give me a trade in credit of $100 if I sent my old phone back. They encouraged us to swap up our phones because "unlocking AT&T could take up to 48 hrs" - a lie. My husband had company phones switched with all carriers including AT&T as part of his job at the company where he worked, never true. After we declined the phone upgrades, the AT&T unlocks happened almost immediately, imagine that. Definitely no "welcome to T-Mobile" or "thanks for coming in".
