We went in expecting to upgrade one phone but ended up doing two. I was very frustrated hearing we wouldn't be getting personal guidance and assistance transferring our phones over. Instead I was without any active phone while I completed the rest of the afternoon errands and my dinner plans. The phones continue to rise in price but the service and overall value drastically decreases. So disappointed first of all the Young man's name was Juan or so he said it was not sure I believe him... We had two encounters with this young man the first day we went there we walked in with an appointment told him we had a locked phone. He said nothing he could do about it. Speaking only for the Westminster Version store on 120th. I've been there probably ten times over six years. The staff has been attentive and knowledge every time. They have been very helpful and especially patient with this boomer who is less-than-technologically astute. I have purchased six phones from that location and intend to return for my next one. I have had ups and downs with Verizon corporate experiences but with the service I get from this local staff, I continue as a Verizon customer. What a joke for "professionalism" and customer service. I had a guy named Saul (I believe it was): the guy literally had his earbuds in during his shift while "working" and supposedly assisting me. Instead of him doing anything helpful in person though...he had me call their customer support number (of which I got a girl in the Philippines, of course) and had to sit, in their own store, and be on the phone with their remote customer service -- for literally over 1 hour and 34 minutes. No, I'm not exaggerating: I have a screenshot of the call time and number before it ended. Heck, I'll even attach it to this review. Their support number is 611 from a Verizon network phone. At least the girl in the Philippines was vastly more helpful than the person who was literally in front of me in the store. When I put her on speaker to talk to him, he wouldn't even address her...as if he didn't care to hear what she had to say. At least from the person I got stuck with...their service is trash. We went to this location to pick up phones we order over the phone. The employees told us we didn't have phones there to pick up and suggested we call customer service. They refused to help us locate the store where the newly purchased phones were located. They were rude, not helpful, and essentially told us to leave and figure everything out ourselves. Horrible customer service -- Thomas, the manager, lacks direction, education, and actual customer service skills. Went there to transfer my phone number from TMobile to Verizon on my partner/husband's account. The customer agent had a terrible attitude about transferring my phone number over to my partner's account (maybe he was also jealous I have a husband as a gay man), but I called my man to have him confirm the request. The individual said that I wasn't an authorized user, even tho I recited the account pin and had my husband (account owner) on the phone. Mind you, we can in not even three days ago to confirm the account request with a different worker. This time, this different individual had attitude, no customer service, and all could say was "it's corporate policy". When I asked to see said policy, no one could bring it up to me and I was told to "go search it online" by the manager. He even admitted "I don't know where the policy is", which is a part of his job to know this stuff. Not hard to know. The manager also said using a corporate phone number for transferring numbers is quicker than in person. Sounds like laziness to me. Wow-- the lack of management is astounding. Refreshing I am so used to going to crowded stores in Denver, I sometimes forget that there are other options. This store is a perfect example. You won't get trampled by a stampede of millennial customers while you wait 45 minutes to get service. I promise, it won't feel like you are at a concert. The staff is great as well. My son in law bought me a smart phone when my brother in law died to make sure I was able to order an uber. It was a prepaid account. I have paid that account since 2019. I have paid that account without question for five years. The phone was old and died. I bought a phone that had Verizon on the label. I thought you can use a "Verizon" sim card to make it work. boy was I wrong. Not only did I pay my current verizon bill, I bought a phone that I thought would accept my current "verizon" account. I was wrong. Stupid me for "Buying" what you sold. I was trying to keep the same number because I have doctors and pharmacies calling me. You made it to where I have to travel four miles to still use you're service. I know you don't care. i am just one person. dose not six years of loyal patronage matter? I think not. read more

I've had significant tech issues with Verizon, and was instructed by online/telephone help to seek assistance in-store twice. Both times in-person help had zero resources or knowledge to help. This store has disappointed me significantly, (as has verizon in general) and actually refused to help the second time and I had to call tech support for the 15th time in 3 months. At which point in-person help requested improper actions on my end. Super awesome. Don't come here unless you specifically want new devices, but beware, tech support and customer care doesn't exist in-store, and is a joke online/ via telephone. read more

Went here on a Friday afternoon. Was greeted right when we walked in. The person who greeted us actually ended up helping us with all of questions. His name was Eddie and he was great. Very attentive and answered all of our questions we had. We had to combine 2 lines, upgrade a phone and add a device. This was all done under an hour. He was very friendly and went over everything we were going to be going and what we were going to be paying. Will go to this store again! Very friendly! read more

Horrible experience with store manager Dallas and employee Juan. I bought a new phone last week when there was a promotion running to get an Apple Watch through the 25th. The culture and tone of this location is pathetic. Joe the lazy manager was unwilling to assist me when I was signed up by tele-sales at 11am. A second call to telesales for my exchange to get clarification prior to my arrival at 3:20 reiterated me to go to the store at 4680 W 120th. Upon my arrival at 3:20 Joe looked at his tablet and said I was early, and to come back at 4. I grabbed some food at Whole Foods and came back and he would not assist me. If there was a problem with my appointment then he should have caught it at 3:20, and rescheduled me at that time. Another missed opportunity for basic and adequate customer service to retain their customers and a willingness to help.. When he deflected me at 4pm he also had another opportunity to reschedule me. Due to covid they're hiding their laziness and unwilling to help people with the scheduling process. They have a little bit of power and then just bounce people like at a club downtown. I got a call from the official general manager, Brenda, on Monday morning, and she wouldn't let me get a word in. What kind of management training did she go through? She decided already her buddy Joe was in the right and steamrolled me. One excuse after another. She speaks 1000 mph and she's on the defense and just puts you on blast and talks over you. I just hung up on her. I don't need the verbal abuse. I went to another Verizon Store directly after with no appointment and they had about 5 to 7 people in their store and was treated with great service, easy to talk to employees. I'm writing a letter to the zone manager of my awesome experience with them. The 120th and Sheridan store spends more time deflecting people and getting out of work then they do helping people. The hot headed attitude comes from the top at that 4680 W 120th Ave store. My experience at this store was terrible. I'm an easy to get along Customer when I'm treated fairly and when the staff is decent. But when I'm treated poorly on multiple levels, I will spend half a day making sure higher-ups are aware of the time wasting and bitter attitudes of their crews at a store. Their unwillingness to help was really raw and gross. I experienced the total opposite at the Orchard location and I know Verizon has it in them to treat customers right. I highly CANNOT recommend this location off 120th and Sheridan. And I can see how it trickles down at this tore. The other location had more customers than the 120th store did and they were extremely pleasant to work with and I was in and out in 15 minutes with no appointment, and they had the bandwidth and multitasking ability to get me in and out, and help other people at the same time. No bitter attitudes and it was closer to Orchard's closing time then Brenda's and Joe's store was and Orchard still took care of me. I can see why this store only 2.5 stars. I can't recommend this location to my worst enemy. The people working there make up the store. And that's why nobody should waste their time at that 4680 W 120th location. When Joe deflected any kind of assistance at 4pm, and didn't offer me another appointment, I took pictures of their "too many customers" and there was only one person in the store with another employee. Nobody was in there except 2 employees at the counter and one customer. It was an hour away from their closing time and they just didn't want to work, straight up. It's not too hard to figure out. Then they have a hot headed manager that will back up their poor conduct and unwillingness to assist customers. Joe booted a party of 5 people too at the front door when I got there, and these turned-away customers watched me take pics of the inside of the store at the front glass, as they got back in their cars also. This store is letting people down in droves. A very disappointing experience and embarrassing for Verizon. This seems to be an isolated problem just at this store. I've never been as angry at any person as I got at an employee AND the manager of this Verizon establishment. To cut a very long and infuriating story short, I purchased a USB Verizon Modem to add to my account online. The unit arrived, but I was unable to make it work with my router, a Windows 10 machine, or the latest version of OS X. I could only get it working in an old Windows 7 Dell that I had to borrow from a friend. I spent a few weeks futzing with it trying to get it to work before giving up and simply deciding to return it to this store. The modem itself was free due to a work discount, I just needed to get the extra line removed. The employee told me that since the device was activated 15 days ago that I was outside of the 14 day return window. Since I tried to make it work that entire time and couldn't, he did me a "favor" and waived the early termination fee I'd normally be charged for removing a line I added on a 2 year contract, and instead I'd only have to pay a $35 restocking fee. A $35 restocking fee for a modem, remember, that cost me $0.00. And didn't work on any modern computer. I got into a verbal tiff with the employee and his manager but they wouldn't budge. Told me I could either return the modem today and pay the $35 restocking fee, or not return it and they'd have to charge me a $170 early termination fee to remove the line. Or I could keep the line for 2 years even though I couldn't use the device on it, costing $240. My hands tied, through clenched teeth I told them "just fucking do it then" and paid the $35 with no other options. The manager told me "no need to cuss sir, we've got children in here." What a fuckin' asshole. I get home and pull up my notes. I check the FedEx tracking data and it turns out I didn't even GET the device until 10 days ago. It even says it right on the shipping box I fished out of my trash. So when they told me I had activated it 15 days ago, that was an outright lie to force me to pay the $35. The guy pulled up my receipt on his tablet so he saw the date, but lied anyway. I called Verizon customer support on the phone and the guy credited my account $35 with no problem. Apologized for the terrible experience I had, agreed with how frustrated I was. He and I had a laugh about what a dumpster fire this store was, he was a good dude. When VERIZON CUSTOMER SUPPORT thinks you're doing some underhanded shady shit, then you must be a real steaming pile of human garbage. Avoid this miserable shithole of a retail store like the plague. Go to the Orchard store. In all seriousness, just call Verizon Customer Support on the phone, they've always been great to me and have all the same power as the physical stores. The 120th location should be regarded like a leper colony. It's a factory for sadness and rage, the world is an objectively worse place for having this store in it. read more

I'm surprised I'm the first to Yelp this location. When I was in the store today I wondered how many bad reviews this Verizon location got. The review should have been 2 stars however, Michael was friendly and helpful that I'm giving them 3 stars. I walked in and there was 1, yes 1, sales clerk helping a customer and one gentleman waiting to be helped before I was able to sign-in. After I signed-in, a lady asked what I was there for and told me it would be a few minutes. It was a 20 minute wait. C'mon people! All I had to do was add another line and leave. They added another clerk to the floor once 2 parties behind me showed up. Rrrr! Anyhow, Michael answered my questions, helped me make my purchase and then I was on my way... Stopped in for help on my iPhone 5 due to missed calls. We waited about 20 min then were greeted by a kid, and yes I mean kid by his attitude, who listened to part of the issue, then declared that I would have to turn it in to the insurance plan as he could do nothing to help. HE DID NOT EVEN LOOK AT THE PHONE. I told him if other frustrations dealing with it and he didn't care. We left. My experience with this store was beyond frustrating. Not only was the greeter with the neck tattoo extremely rude upon my arrival but she directed me to an even less helpful customer service agent. She was not friendly at all and offered me no help with my inquiry in to upgrading my phone. She rudely stated that I was not ready to upgrade my phone and when I expressed interest in purchasing a new phone regardless she told me to go look for myself. My 2 year contract was up and I thought I would see what it would cost for a new phone. I was told my bill would go up $2.00 a month for 24 months for the phone if I renewed my contract. Well I'm being charged $26.00 a month. The guy on the phone said "wow. That guy lied to you and there's nothing I can do." Apparently he was just a cold call hoping to add even MORE to my bill while "making sure I'm getting the best deal." I'm beyond furious. After going to several Verizon stores in the Broomfield/Westminster area this location was the best, by far. We had five lines to transfer from another carrier and three phones to switch out. Donte was extremely knowledgeable and patient. In other stores it seemed that we knew more than the sales associate (which isn't saying much). That was not the case with Donte and we appreciated his expertise. We have two Verizon stores closer to our home but this store will be where we go from now on. I went into the store to change carriers and to go from a iPhone 6 to a iPhone 7+. The store said that they needed to back order the phone and that it would take two weeks. They also said that I should get the mini iPad, because on Black Friday the deals would be outstanding. Upon receiving the iPhone 7+, I went back and was told I needed my AT&T account and pen number. The said that they didn't help transferring data, but they would make an exception and help me. Long and short of it not all of the data was transferred. They said that they wouldn't transfer iCloud data. I asked for my old phone back. The store said that my phone was now part of Verizon inventory. They didn't cover that up front. The woman at the door (glasses, working on Saturday, 3/21/20 at 12:30 pm) did not allow me to speak. I am aware that there is a pandemic, and I was not seeking "service." She kept repeating to me that she was sorry that they could not offer "service" at this time. She was condescending and patronizing. Indeed, a one star rating from me. The reason for the abysmal rating is because this Verizon store lied to my wife and me. Yes, they really lied. We had been with Verizon for a few years, and our contract ran out. We were ok to be on month to month billing as we had unlimited data and texts, and plenty of minutes. But, given that we never exceeded 2G of data, we thought we'd check out new plans that might be cheaper than we were paying. The sales rep, whose name we forgot unfortunately, assured us that we would spend ~$25 less per month by going on a 4G data plan (2G's each) with unlimited talk and text. He really seemed to be on the up-and-up, so we signed up and even declined to get a receipt. (Shame on us for that!) Fast forward to billing cycle number one. It was considerably more than we paid on the previous month to month, but we chalked that up to whatever prorating stuff for the first month. Fast forward another month. To our shock, the bill was actually about $20 MORE than the previous month to month. Billing month number three was identical. I went to the Verizon store, but I didn't see the sales guy. So, I talked to another rep and described why we signed up for another contract ... less data for less money. Even he agreed that it would have been far better to just stay on the previous month to month. In the end, he couldn't help, so my wife any I were stuck in the more expensive (for less data) contract. Note, we were quite happy with our old phones, so new phones was not a driving force for us. I have never, EVER experienced such rude customer service as I did when I went to this store. Seriously makes me wonder why I pay Verizon monthly for phone service. The service rep that I talked didn't listen to anything I said, was completely condescending, and basically treated me like I was some moron that was wasting his time. Here was my experience: I went into this store to pay my bill, the associate tells me to pay at the Kiosk, so I walk over to the kiosk and type in my number (this must be the part when I just become a complete idiot). I get a message after entering my information that I do not have a prepaid account and I need to pay at the counter. So I go back to the same guy that pointed me away from his direction to the kiosk in the first place, and am told by him, "you must be doing something wrong". (I must not know how to type my own phone number or something, maybe it was all those numbers on the keypad that confused me. I don't know !) After I explain I am not a prepay customer and I keep getting an message saying something to the effect of, you cannot make a payment at this kiosk if you are not a prepay customer, he proceeds to tell me "I've been doing this a long time, I'm sure your doing something wrong". He at that point huffs our a annoyed breath and asks me for my phone number, because you know I am wasting his time asking him to do his job, that he is being paid for at that very moment. Needless to say I walked out without one word to him. Partially because I was afraid of what was going to come out of my mouth, and the fact that at this point I had been treated like I'm stupid by some guy for 20+ minutes. I called the customer service center and paid my NON PREPAY bill with them in 2 minutes. That is the last time I will ever enter a Verizon store EVER! I have been in this business before, and had one of my employees treated anyone the way I was treated I would have walked them out. I honestly wonder if Verizon is doing checks on the in-store employees to ensure that are providing the customer experience that we as their customers deserve. read more

Just one day before dealing with her I went to the same location and received amazing service from Jonathan who is friendly and personable and a subtle, but effective salesperson. I highly recommend this Verizon store location for their great customer service. My wife and I have come to this location repeatedly after having poor experiences at the other Westminster store on Sheridan Blvd. Friendly and welcoming staff greet you immediately upon entering the store. The wait time even when they are busy is never longer than a few minutes of browsing their merchandise. Starr, Eddie, and the other staff members have all been friendly and accommodating. Josh especially helped us at our last visit when my wife's Samsung Galaxy S3 finally gave out. He gave really helpful suggestions and advice from his own personal and professional experiences, and truly made us feel like valued customers. We now know to come to this store only and to not bother wasting our time at the other one. read more
