My husband recently visited your location 3611 N Blackstone Ave in Fresno California. He went in to purchase a new phone. Despite being reassured by the store manager that the bill would only increase by $5 we found out afterwards that the bill was going to increase by at least $110. When he went back to have the store manager explain the additional charges the manager claimed that was the price they had discussed. My husband had to leave and go to a different location to get the information for the district manager. At the second location the SM was able to look at the charges and we were told that the other store manager lied about what he signed my husband up for. Without authorization this manager added on Asurion insurance that we specifically asked not to have added on. He also removed a long standing bill discount that we have. The manager at your location on Blackstone and Shaw was able to fix some of the damage but we still have to call back July 1st to fix the rest of it. The Manager Osvaldo (Ozzy) and staff are opportunistic, they bold faced lied to me about redefining my bill contract upgrades and made add ons I didnt approve so they can make a higher comission . This store is not a Att company Store its a a authorize dealer and according to Att coperate its is not the 1st time this has occurred. My montly went from 165 to 275 in one visit. They also canceled any and all discounts i have earned and aquire like military and public service. Also adding insurance i didnt ask for or want. Be cautious doing business here better yet go to an Att company store. read more

I've been standing here for 20 minutes and I understand that both associates are busy with customers. I get that. Make your sales, up sell all you can! Make that personal connection! I hope that they walk out of here happy. Neither one of the associates has acknowledged me in ANYWAY! Not a "Hi, we apologize about the wait." Or maybe, "Hi! Did you need to speak with one of our associates or make a payment?" Because honestly, all I need to do is make a payment. I understand that they are busy. But if I could just be acknowledged, that would be great! This some of the worst customer service. Teach your employees the 10-5 rule. Some basic courtesy would be nice. I purchased the Note8 this was the only store that had the color I want. Justin assisted my sister and I. He was such a great help. He was very knowledgeable answered every question I had and helped me throughout the whole process with outstanding recommendations. I'm beyond happy that he was the one to assist us. He told me all about the great promos that Samsung had to offer as well as the trade in phone offer that got me a $300 in store credit. It was a come up I got a new phone along with some awesome gadgets to go long with it. I am very happy and pleased with Justin's customer service. I would definitely come back. read more

Do not switch from your current carrier to AT&T. They are totally doing a bait and switch with their switch over program. To get reimbursed for the equipment that you were moving over from your current carrier to AT&T you have to show on your final bill the equipment that you are changing over. AT&T 100% knows that if you advise your current carrier that you're switching over depending on the date the equipment information will be on one bill and your final bill will be on the next months bill which they will not except. For me AT&T old me over $400 for switching over to their service. I canceled my coverage with Sprint in the middle of the month so on that bill I received the information regarding the equipment I was switching over Sprint will not produce your final bill until the end of the month that you're in which turns out to be a second bill. Because The equipment information was on one bill and then my final bill was a different bill AT&T denied to reimburse me for switching over to them. It is a 100% bait and switch. They will never pay you for switching over. They will screw you Holiday did me. Do not switch to AT&T just because they promised to pay off what you owe on your current coverage. I submitted my paperwork highlighted and the information detailed on a cover page for different times. And they denied me all four times. It is a total screw you for their customers. My coverage also sucks. When I had Sprint I could go anywhere I wanted to go and had a perfect coverage, now that I have AT&T if I'm not outside of a building I get no coverage. AT&T cell phone reception sucks. I know after leaving this review they will probably retaliate against me and do something internally to make my coverage suck even more. Listen to my warning, do not do the switch over because they're promising you money. They know what they're doing you will never received your refund they will screw you four different ways just how they did me. This review is not about a specific store it is about the shady ass practice of AT&T's bait and switch, switch over to our company and will pay you for moving your coverage over. I even went to the website and sent and I am to a representative and he gave me the same screw ass turnaround rate in switch re-send your information to us and will send you your money bull crap that I got before. When they deny your refund they don't even have the balls to call you on the phone they want to have your paperwork on their website pending for over two months and not tell you what else they want. I am telling everyone that I know do not do this because they are screwing you because they know you will never receive the paperwork that they're asking from your current carrier. Came in here for a quick upgrade for my sons phone after having lunch at La Enchiladas and ran into an old customer service representative from another AT&T store that I usually frequent on Cedar and Shepherd, Abe! They just promoted him to assistant manager! Awesome for him, this company, and this establishment! This branch is so lucky to have someone like Abe on their team. He is detail oriented, personable and goes above and beyond to help you with all your AT&T services. This store is really big, lots of traffic coming and going, lots of people were coming in to pay their bills, heavy volume store. There were lots of customer service reps too though, not one customer waited longer than 5 minutes. Even saw one older Hispanic lady get a dap from a rep as he greeted her! How cool was that!?! Another local business that doesn't get it and traded $20 for me and everyone I know to never to do business with them. The fact that this is an "Authorized Reseller" store makes this tail even worse since the owner maybe local and could take care of their customers better than corporate ATT. For Christmas I purchased a couple of used iPhones on eBay for my sons. I needed a couple of nano SIM cards to activate them Christmas morning so I went to this store since it is the closest to my home. Like is typical with any ATT store I had to wait about 20 minutes to be helped and when I asked about getting the SIM cards they said they were $10 each unless I purchased something, in which case I would get 1 SIM free for every $10 I spent. I purchased $20 worth of products got my 2 SIMs and left. Fast forward a couple days, the phones are delivered and surprisingly the sellers included 2 new SIM cards with them. Also, come to find out that you can get SIM cards free from many places that sell ATT phones like Apple and other ATT stores and kiosks, Target, Walmart, etc, why? because ATT gives them the SIM cards free, who would have thought you would have to pay for a SIM that cost virtually nothing and actually drives additional revenue for months and years to come!! I go back to this store well within the 30 days and attempt to return the unused product I purchased and the SIM cards only to find out that the SIM cards are non-returnable, and if I returned the product I wouldn't get a refund because the SIM cards would then cost $10 each and are non-returnable!!! I politely asked all three gentlemen at the counter who I needed to talk to about this and they smugly said no one and there was nothing any of them could do. (how do people like this find and keep jobs??!!) Lesson learned, I should have read other Yelp reviews prior to going here and saved myself $20 and a whole lot of irritation. read more

I have been with AT&T for years, and I love their service, but for this visit to upgrade my phone I didn't appreciate how the employee applied a screen protector without asking me if I wanted it, so I had to pay 30$ more for a screen protector that I didn't even ask for nor give consent to be applied. I know it's their job to advertise their products, but it was just rude how he assumed it was okay to do that. read more

I would give them a -0 rating if allowed. This is the worst wireless company to do business with. I have spent numerous hours, being on the phone 3-4 hours each time I call attempting to rectify a billing error made on their part. They combined my Direct TV account and my wireless account without my authorization, which resulted in a double bill back in November 2020 at which time I immediately contacted them about. As of today I have gotten no help in rectifying the issue but only threats of disconnecting my service. I have been transferred from the wireless dept. to the TV dept. with each telling me they cannot not assist with the other. They requested to call me back and they did, allowing the phone to wring only twice when I went to answer they had hung up. I called back being thrown into the same blackhole and no assistance. Just got off the phone AGAIN because they transferred me AGAIN and the call dropped. read more

I took my modem in to have it checked. I had to wait about 5 min, which is not too bad. The lady that helped was was very nice. She checked my modem, found the problem quickly. It was only the power cord ($10). I dont have cell service through them so she tried to get me to convert, but I dont like thier restrictions, so i left with what i needed. OK place by me. read more

Brought my ipad in to attempt to get my SIM card fixed since it became unusable somehow. They tried to charge me 10 dollars to give me a new one and mentioned they were an authorized retailer in a very rude way. Employees don't greet you once you enter the store. Went in recently to get an upgrade and I've been with AT&T for awhile and I know that there's an activation fee every time you upgrade. Anyways, after one of the girl employees gave me an estimate of what I'll be paying that day and my monthly payments, I asked her about the activation fee and surprisingly she told me there's none. Well, now that I've gotten my first bill, it actually does show that there is an activation fee. I'm not totally upset, but I'm just saying the employees need to give customers the right information especially when they ask about it. read more

Went in 8/30/17 to replace a phone on an existing line. After doing our research on the particular phone we returned to this store within 1 1/2 of our initial visit. We returned at 7:30 PM, waited patiently for 25 minutes without ever being acknowledged. Finally, Beatriz, one of the 3 representatives there, came over only to say she'd be right with us. Beatriz had wrapped up her transaction with a customer and rather than assist customers, decided to tend to her "brother". We gave her a few additional minutes to handle whatever personal business she felt was more important that paying customers. I approached Beatriz and politely asked if she could please assist us because we had by then waited patiently for well over 30 minutes. Apparently my interruption did not go well because Beatriz took her time wrapping up her personal affairs and the proceed to acknowledge a different customer. At this point we had enough of the total disregard of customer service. Before leaving we said we were dissatisfied with the way Beatriz handled the situation. Rather than apologize for her wrong doing, Beatriz only said, "What, because I went over to talk to my brother?" It was apparent that the person she calimed was a brother was in fact probably a significant other. It's a shame that Beatriz' poor judgment resulted in me canceling a line and ultimately my service, which I had since 1999. read more
