Came here around 2:50 p.m. to return two pieces of equipment today. We were told to have a seat and that it would only take a few seconds. We waited until 3:43 p.m. before finally being seen by someone, who then told us he was still waiting for someone else to help us. Multiple walk-in groups were helped before us. Eventually, the same guy who told us to wait ended up helping us anyway. Ridiculous! I understand that what I'm here for doesn't make money for Verizon, but this was such a simple request that should have only taken no more than 5 minutes. 18 months of fraudulent billing caused by business account rep, Nick, who does not respond to calls/text. Have made 3 in person appts for Blackstone store, and each time I come in, I am told "they can't find my appt" even though I show them the appt reminder on my phone. I do not recommend getting business lines (voip systems) with Verizon. The phones don't work and customer service does not want to help. I have never had problems with my cell phones but have to leave Verizon due to how it was working with Verizon Business. read more

I walked into this Verizon store at 5195 and within five minutes, I knew I was in for a Texas-sized pile of frustration. I ain't one to complain much unless you mess with my beer, my truck, or my phone plan--and guess what, they messed with all three metaphorically, son. The wait? Longer than a Last Man Standing match with the Undertaker. The staff? Looked more confused than a possum at a square dance. The service? Slower than a mudslide in winter. I asked for help with my upgrade and they passed me around more times than a folding chair at a contract signing. "You need to talk to him." "Oh, she's got the password access." "Oops, system's down." WHAT?! Then this one technician had the nerve to tell ol' Stone Cold, "Well maybe it's your fault for not backing up your contacts." WHAT?! Let me tell you something, junior--if you ever talk to me like that again, you're gonna get a Stone Cold Stunner right there next to the iPhone display, and that's the bottom line! No transparency. No urgency. No cold drinks while I waited either. You think this is how you treat customers? You think this is premium wireless service? HELL NO. Stone Cold came in for a new phone and left with a migraine and a receipt for disappointment. I have two iPhones, one for my Mom the other for myself. I wanted to switch numbers. I called Verizon online, the customer support representative mentioned that it would be better if I visit the local corporate owned Verizon in Fresno. She made an appointment. I arrived at the store and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. Devan Howard who is the specialist who was assigned to me is very nice and an awesome technician, he was calm and patient. He took only 15 minutes compared to two hours on the phone with technical support. This Verizon store is corporate owned which makes a big difference in the quality professionalism and technical know how. Horrible customer service. I have been a Verizon Wireless Customer for more than 20 years. This place is out to nickel and dime their customers. After upgrading to the iPhone 17, I was able to set up one of the two phones at my house. The other phone was giving me challenges so I went to Verizon for help. After spending a lot of money on 2 new phones they wanted to charge me $29.95 to set up the phone I was having difficulty with. After being a long-term customer and purchasing two new phones, I couldn't believe that they wanted to charge me additional money to assist me. I asked to speak to the manager and he informed me he was the manager. He gave me a phone number to call "set up support," and the phone number he gave me was no longer in service. He then spent five minutes, trying to find another phone number instead of helping me with the situation. Finally, I got a phone number and I got a hold of "set up support" speaking to a technician at a "call center." From the accent, I believe the call center was in India, but the technician said he could not disclose his location per Verizon policy. The technician on the phone actually provided very good customer service. Verizon in Fresno California may need to go to India to learn how to provide good customer service. Needless to say, if not just purchasing 2 new phones from Verizon I would switch to AT&T because Verizon could care less to provide decent customer service to a customer of 20+ years. Your cell service has gone to pot since you supposedly upgraded. I cannot make or receive a phone call in my house at all which is problematic because I work from home. Your internet speeds have died as well. I cannot even open apps and emails because it just spins. I have your highest speed plan and its crap!!!! When are you going to fix it. I have to go to starbucks or someplace loud to do my work. Customer service said that I had to switch to a new kind of plan and tower and things would get better. It did for one evening and then back to crap the next day. Since Verizons phone service is based on internet technogy, they both suck now. I get the run around. I went here on 2/27/24 because I was having issues with my iPhone. The woman who first said hello was fine as she directed me to a young man who could assist me. She directed him to check some basic things and I got the feeling he was still in training. Anyway he discovered that the VPN had been pressed, probably by accident, but it wreaked havoc with my phone. He scared me by saying I had to go to the Apple Store and they would have to wipe my phone and if I didn't have everything backed up in the cloud I would lose all my data. I went to the store and made an appointment. Had to come back in two hours. I went back and a very nice guy assisted me. He went in and deleted an app that had caused the problem and everything was fine. Now keep in mind that I am a ride share driver and the whole day/night I was unable to work. If the guy at Verizon had thought to ask a manager about my issue I wouldn't have had to blow off work for 4 more hours. The staff said the WiFi at their office was poor so they couldn't transfer my data from my old phone to the new one. Then when I said I would pay for the transfer, they told me if I was going to the Apple Store, they could do it for me there. The basic services that a Verizon store should provide, transferring data from old phone to new one, being patient with older customers ( not me but I witnessed this), etc.. Great service at Verizon yesterday. Especially from this rep, Nuvia. I moved my services (iPhone X and large iPad Pro w cellular) over from ATT where I was paying over $80.00 a month. The quality of call receptions was what prompted my research. Since I never use installment plans, I fully paid for the high end, stainless 44mm Apple watch later on-line. Even with the $10.00 monthly charge for cellular, I'm still paying less than I did with att. Here's the sweet deal I ended up with: Unlimited calling, text, 5 GB data cap between devices for $65.00 a month ($5.00 discount for auto pay). $150.00 dollar gift card 6-8 weeks Was paying OVER $80.00 a month on ATT with a data cap of 3 GB (but never exceeded 2 GB) I noticed a crisper sound quality and better fidelity right away...will take a couple weeks to determine if the network coverage is better. I was there for about an hour and appreciated her experience, patience and skill in addressing my questions. Having my own iPad onsite was super helpful in pulling up account information and independently verifying information from the web on-the-fly. This location could use a couple more tables and one of the other reps was EXTREMELY loud and treating his lull time like the store was HIS crib. Unprofessional behavior that wasn't considerate of customers around him trying to do business. IF you're going to keep laughing extremely loud, how about turning away from the folks deep in decisions or going to a another area? How about turning your games and devices down a bit, or moving down the empty counter. It was annoying. Store rep told me "most iPhone 15 pro max are in stock" when I entered. After 45 minutes of waiting she told me they did not have any, and there were none in neighboring areas. I have no qualms with Verizon service. BUT I do with their admin. I switched to Verizon in October 2021 when I discovered AT&T's connection to the far-right One America News network (OAN). And, Verizon was offering a trade-in on iPhones. I got my new phone but never got the return kit for my old phone, which was to earn me a discount of $800 on the new one. I started calling Verizon about this, probably in December 2021. I just placed my fourth call today, May 31, 2022. Each service person, after lengthy info exchange, promised a kit would be coming. Hoping this one is the charm. But very skeptical. Previous customer service assistant promised all the info - and my calls - would be retained in their records, and that a return kit was coming. Never got it. And, the latest customer assistant was unable to find any previous records of my calls, or information on the phone I am suppose to return. Michael H and Verizon Wireless just turned a buyer into a shopper. My husband and I currently have Mint Mobile, the customer service is great, but sometimes the data service is slowed. So we decided to see our options at Verizon. We walked in, Michael H greeted us. We told him that we needed a shared data plan for 2 lines and that we were bringing our phones over. He was cordial for most of the sales process. After we had gathered our account information from the other company, he said that there would be a $70 activation fee for the 2 lines. Although we were not purchasing new phones, we were still being charged this fee. Maybe not his fault, so we said ok and kept moving forward with the sale. He then said, Verizon needs to complete a "soft credit check". As long as it is a soft credit check, and not a hard inquiry, I was ok with that. Well, after trying to run this "soft credit", he said Verizon needs my ID and SSN card, because I have a credit freeze on one on my accounts. So I confirmed, that this was indeed a hard credit check, and he said yes. He blatantly lied to me. To have a salesperson lie about what kind of credit inquiry they are doing to your credit should be illegal, but I digress. After I told him that this would not be acceptable, as I am in the process of trying to purchase a home, I asked about their prepaid plans. He referred me to some charts in the back. I asked if he could just tell me about those prices and plans, for which he said, "I'm a contractor, I dont get paid on those plans." He also said that I could sign up for prepaid plans at Walmart. I used to be a Verizon customer for 16 years, from the age of 16 to 31. Because of Michael H, I will likely never be a Verizon customer again. They are rude and talk about customers behind their backs I left the store for a second and the lady that was helping me started talking about me and my son heard her. She didn't know he was in the store with me because he was looking around. The lady that helped me was an older lady with glasses. After my second review of this Verizon store at 5195 N Blackstone Avenue in Fresno, CA. I waited for two more weeks for a possible resolution as promised by the business Sales Rep. Paul Polanco. I called countless times to follow up with Paul, none of my calls were returned. To make matters worse, Paul Polanco's mailbox is full and can not accept messages, how unprofessional. This store told me that they have 5G service and sold me a 5G phone (Samsung Galaxy S105G) in march 2019 we still do not have a 5G signal, this store lies. They will sell you a cell phone with a great smile, God forbid if you need service, do not expect one, you are on your own. My decision? Cut my losses and move on. I transferred all of lines to Spectrum mobile and so far everything is perfect, customer service is outstanding. Please do not waste your time with Verizon, avoid Verizon completely, the quality of the signal is gone; Verizon quality is not what it used to be. If you must choose Verizon avoid the River Park store in Fresno at all cost. If you must choose this store avoid Paul Polanco at all costs. I cancelled and went to Straight Talk all done on line no little people to deal with. My daughter just had major problems with the Vilagio store the sales person gave her wrong equipment that wasn't compatible with her car? Then wanted restocking and activation fees, the little people (Kandy) has no human empathy or the willingness to listen the area manager (was just as bad Robert)So here's what I instructed my daughter to do to recoup the lost activation fees and restocking fees that she lost due to the employee giving wrong equipment. So happy that we are NO longer a Verizon customer. Their service is terrible, their customer service is awful and the prices are ridiculous! We recently closed our account and i found out we have a credit which will be refunded to us, only because I CALLED them! Upon contacting them, I find out that they did a review of our account, the day we cancelled. Mind you, we only had one number tied to them for my Mother In Laws WiFi needs. Because there was confusion when we moved last year, a payment was late. A payment of $80. So... they reported us to Equifax Credit Services. I'm so ticked off...I can't see straight! Since we don't have any debt...we don't have a credit history anymore. This is also BS!!! We moved from Commiefornia and bought a house out right, as well as cars. A week ago My husband and I went to this Verizon because there was a problem with his phone..the lady that helped us was super nice and helpful..however a week later..There's a worker there by the name tommy..who helped us..he was super rude and aggressive..he was even moving his head side to side as he was talking to me and giving me such attitude..I was like wtf in my head..although he did help resolve our problem..he could have been waayyy more professional in the way he spoke to customers. Today, boys and girls, Evil is going to give you not one, but two lessons. The first lesson is about how boys perceive the actions of girls. Really, girls, this lesson is for you, so pay attention. Girls, anytime you are nice to a heterosexual boy, their brain is wired to automatically think that you want them. Automatically. 100% of the time. No exceptions. Some boys have evolved to the point where they can use rational thought to understand that every girl who is nice to them isn't hitting on them...but they still think that initially. A perfect example was our experience at the Verizon store the other day. As my 6 fans will attest, we are a boy who has evolved to the point where we use rational thought, yet when the very adorable girl at Verizon was super nice to us, our first thought was that she was flirting with us. Obviously, she wanted to make that accessory pack add-on sale. And it worked. We bought it, even though we went in with the mindset of getting our new phone and nothing else. We enjoyed the interplay with the adorable girl and must admit to some Evil thoughts, but we do regret buying the accessory pack. Girls, the lesson is that you have a powerful weapon, but don't misuse it, particularly on the really dumb boys. While it may get you the keys to the kingdom, it could also get you into trouble. Speaking of our new phone, this is a nice segue into our second lesson, which is the definition and example of the term "irony". Many confusion irony with coincidence. If you are thinking of a thing or event and someone brings that thing or event up in conversation...that isn't irony, it's a coincidence. Irony is the incongruity of what we expect should happen with what actually happens. Here is an example. We finally conformed and purchased an iPhone. The fact that we conformed isn't ironic as we will conform with the best of them! But the fact it is conforming to purchase an Apple product is. After decades of being the smug competitor to the PC and marketing themselves as the hip alternative, Apple has grabbed the lion-share of the smartphone market. Now, anything other than an iPhone is the alternative. We finally have followed 93% of our friends and aquantances and joined them at the App Store. Here's more irony for you. The current Droids are far superior to the iPhone from a functionality and performance perspective. Ultimately, we were compelled to get one for Face Time, SIRI and, frankly, the cooler apps. Looked for an alternate Verizon store based on a poor experience at the Riverpark location. Found this location which had good google reviews. 5 stars for Erica's assistance and excellent customer service in answering my many questions, showing me various options and helping me continue a variation of my current plan. 2 stars for her coworker Samantha; I could tolerate her non-friendly attitude but she was outright clueless regarding transferring contacts and options using Backup Assistant. She referred me to the website to see if BackUp Assistant contained my contacts (or not), and then said as a second option I could get the phone numbers off my monthly bill and manually add them to my phone (with not even a concession that the latter option was practically a joke). Seriously? Having your friends text you and then adding them is far easier then that. I had better luck searching on the verizon website how to transfer contacts. And the best part, it still works even if your old device has already been donated and your new one activated. If the website FAQ is better than the store employee, that's when you know there is an issue. read more

I actually had a different Verizon store tell me they could not order me the phone I wanted and I should look on Craigslist. Pretty ample parking on the side. This Verizon is next to the Orchid Barn. When you walk in and see a lot of people, try to get on the wait list so you will be helped asap. Manuel S helped us pick out a small smart phone with long battery life (remember how it used to be OK to leave a dumb phone unplugged for a day or two and still have ample battery juice?). Along with stats he pulled up from his tablet, we supplemented with some internet research on our phones so that we would be 100% satisfied. (Always take the salesman's recommendations with a grain of salt, especially with new model phones that have not been reviewed fully yet- I fell for this at T-Mobile years back and was stuck wth a sh*tty HTC when a tried-and-true Galaxy would haved me some headache.) Additional $99 bundle with a phone case, protective screen shield, car charger, and bluetooth. I didn't want to order things piecemeal on Amazon because we needed to use this phone soon. Worth it. And Manuel put the case and screen shield onto the new phone. Before we left, he helped set up web log-in to manage the account. This was all stuff we could do on our own, but not exactly fun, so I am glad he helped us out so all my husband has to do next is enjoy his new phone on 4Glte. read more

I'm usually a very positive person and try to see the good in all things. However, the Verizon Business representative along with his staff have the worst customer service. My husband is spending hundreds of dollars with this company and they couldn't order some phones for us? We have been requesting these phones since a month ago. I've been chasing the manager around to get a proper response. He had multiple excuses as to why he didn't order our phones. Lastly, he sent me a text message asking me to call around some Verizon stores and see what stores had the phones I needed. What?! Are you kidding me? As if I have spare time to be calling around, dude I own a business! I have hundreds of things to do! Wouldn't a manager have access to that information? Couldn't he call around and find out for me? Or have one of his useless workers call for me? As a business company who is spending a lot of money on Verizon I would imagine we would get good customer service. But that was not the case. Terrible customer service. They had over 10 staff members just standing around on their phones while only letting 2 customers in at a time. The others just walk around aimlessly doing absolutely nothing I watched for over an hour. Manager has no control over his employees and acts as a doorman does nothing but let people in the door. On top of that transaction could not be completed because the employee said their phone lines are down. Please explain to me how a phone store doesn't have one working phone when all 10 of your staff members are sitting there on their phones that's just embarrassing.
