this location definitely tried to scam me thinking I wouldn't catch up to it. I went in to upgrade my iphone 12 pro which was already paid off. I've upgraded my phone plenty of times before & have never been forced to get a new number. I was told that they didn't know how to do a simple upgrade for some reason & then after them being on the phone with AT&T customer service (in the office which was shady) they told me that AT&T will call me & for me to LIE & say I didn't have to get a new number. Like why am I lying on behalf of your mistakes? It led me to having to call customer service who told me that they were able to upgrade it all along but the store just finessed me into getting a new line. But while I told her I wanted to cancel the line that was associated with my 12 pro that I no longer used, she was trying to convince me to keep the line & get an ipad? Focusing on themselves & not on the customers needs. I understand people have to make money but why would the average person need 3 different phone numbers? Believe it or not, trying to get in the store was unbelievable crazy! The door was locked. Once we got closer we noticed that that there was a person putting up the signs in the window during business was hours. Another person, WITHOUT a mask, ( a shorter young lady) greeted us! After my friend told her we needed a phone, she went to go put on her mask on. We noticed that no phones were on display, but we wanted to buy one. An iPhone. This store is fun. You know the restaurant "Dicks" where you pay to eat sub par food and hear the waiters dump all over you. It's like that but with cell phones, and home internet. Don't bother trying to correct it either. It's like the Ya Ya sister/brotherhood in there. They all support each others right to be completely rude to you. AT&T has the monopoly for home internet in my area so it's a relationship I have to make work until another provider comes in. (SAVE US VERIZON FiOS!) until then, I drive across town to another location to submit orders. Or you can just roll the dice with the online market, but the two times I did, I called back a couple days later, and they were like "what order".....reminds me of that south park episode when they keep calling the cable company, but worse. read more

I've been to several AT&T stores and usually end up pretty unhappy. In fact, I avoided AT&T stores for years. This is the first time I've walked away from an AT&T store completely satisfied with the speed, service, knowledge and overall friendliness of the one particular employee, Michael. I wouldn't normally write a review for an AT&T store, but this store deserves it. He went above and beyond to answer my questions, helped me trade in my phone, and get the accessories I needed. He was patient, non pressure-y, and just really great. Sometimes people act like they hate their job, and while I get that, it was really nice that Michael was the opposite. Really appreciated all he did, and would come back to this store in the future above all others. But only if he's there. read more

Caveat: I don't know how to address this to corporate through Yelp. I'm sure the people working at this store location are fine people, but just working for a sh!tty company. The only thing positive I can say about this company is hold times talking to a CSR are pretty reasonable. Other than that, for a large technology company, the platform is pathetically integrated with no communication to the consumer. You get updates for things like when you've finished creating your account online and complete the set-up of security questions, or linking an email. ATT will actually send texts informing the customer of these peripheral related updates as if he cares. But when you sign up for service, don't expect to get an update or confirmation of your appointment. In fact any action items that would need to be performed by ATT have to be managed diligently by the customer and even then when appointments are made, the system automatically cancels them for you so you have to call to find out what happened only to get a BS excuse about something they forgot to turn in internally and didn't communicate with you. You would have to work from home full time, or not have a job if wanting to use this service due to the delays and cancellation of confirmed services. This experience made me forgo installation and the whole process so I cancelled and hope I never have to pay them another dime of my money. This was my 2nd attempt at doing business with them. I was a long time customer and a couple of years ago wanted to update my plan and talked to someone in their sales department that got me a great deal. I was happy and it was a win-win. On the installation day, the technician never showed up. I called to find out what happened. Somehow the order was cancelled, even though I had received confirmation and had an install appointment email confirmed. The CSR couldn't find my order, or any record of it and certainly not at the price that was negotiated with their sales. I wanted answers so I was shuffled around talking to 3 different people in different parts of the world and had to confirm the obligatory customer security details info each time making the process so much more painful. I went from a happy low maintenance customer to firing them over this and switching to Comcast. I have no idea how they are a fortune 50 company. read more

THE BEST. GO HERE FIRST. After stopping by three other at&t stores and receiving terrible service, wait times of over an hour, and rude salesmen I reluctantly went to this location as a fourth attempt. I parked, feeling defeated and honestly a little pissed off after being so mistreated at the other at&t stores. That all changed the second I walked in this store. I was pleasantly greeted and immediately helped. Not for a second did they try to sell me anything I didn't need and even helped me get the best plan for the lowest cost. These guys took it a step further and discounted accessories and utilized current deals going on knowing I was trying to spend as little money as possible. They patiently sat with me until EVERYTHING was set up and good to go. I am forever appreciative for their excellent customer service and will never step foot in any at&t store other than this one. read more

Walked in and Stephanie the 'manager' who was the only one in the store had an attitude since I walked in. I work with people everyday and know how to treat people. She had the rudest responses. There was not a soul in the store so she could have been helpful. When I told her I was there for a promotion I had just been told a few days at another store, she was so quick to tell me that was wrong and I could go back to that store to get the correct information. Maybe that explains why no one was there. A little bit of politeness goes a long way. This woman had none. This is the manager so I can't believe she acted this way. Previously, I was set up for extras on my account that I did not need and because of inaccurate information from the person handling my account I had to reschedule my installation twice. I went to the Studemont location on Saturday to inquire about a new iPhone and a different phone plan. I was sold the incorrect iPhone and was given inaccurate information for how much my new plan would cost each month going forward. I left the store with the new iPhone and no paperwork. I received an email shortly after leaving the store that included the receipt to support the taxes I paid on the new iPhone. This is when I first realized they sold me a more expensive phone than I requested. Later Saturday afternoon, I received another email from AT&T to show the new phone plan details. The plan change was more expensive than what I was told in the store. I contacted AT&T customer support Saturday night to reverse the new phone plan because the price was more than I was willing to pay. At this point I just wanted the entire experience to go away. I went back to the Studemont store on Sunday to return the iPhone and was told I would have to pay a $45 restocking fee. The restocking fee was going to be netted against the refund they owed me from the taxes on the iPhone that I was returning. I left the store with my old iPhone working again and no paperwork. I received an email after leaving the store that included the receipt for the credit that showed I was charged a $55 restocking fee. If this hassle and deceit sounds like how you want to plan on spending your weekend, then the Studemont store is for you. To provide a further update to the above, today is Thursday (the week following my weekend trip to the Studemont store) and I received an email from AT&T with the subject "Welcome to AT&T Protect Advantage". I contacted AT&T customer support to ask why I received this email and was told that it was added to my plan on Saturday for a monthly charge of $15. I never signed up for this, but apparently the AT&T Studemont location signed me up without my knowledge or approval. read more

I went in this AT&T just looking to get a new phone and walked out with a new phone, iPad mini and a LG tablet for a ridiculously low price. Jaime was our sales rep and was very helpful, patient and nice. He spent the time to make sure we got the best deal on everything. From my experience, all employees at this location were very helpful. I calculated what we would have spent on retail for all the items we received versus what we actually paid and we had total savings of 85%. I think that says enough in itself. I would recommend this store location to anyone and will be coming back here for sure. read more

Beware of this AT&T store - they will say anything to get you signed up to a plan. Jeff Smith informed us that if we changed phone numbers, we would get the iPhone for free. He claimed we would be charged $20 a month for the first four months, then the payments would stop and we'd be refunded the $80 at the end of the plan. Well, now we're over a year into the plan and the $20 charges have not stopped. We have followed up multiple times and Jeff either doesn't respond or makes up another lie about how he's trying to get us our credits but there's an error in the system. We've gone back to the store multiple times (which apparently Jeff has moved on from) and talked to Stephanie who was no help at all. She claimed only Jeff could help and she would pass the message on. Surprise surprise we never heard back from anyone. We will be switching plans immediately as soon as this contract is up or before (I don't mind paying the fee to end this frustrating business relationship). A note to AT&T, Jeff, and Stephanie - poor and dishonest business practices eventually catch up with you. read more

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with AT&T. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. The store manager is extremely rude and will not take responsibility for any of his or his employees' mistakes. I received several 1,000$ plus bills and received no assistance from this store, although the billing errors were completely their mistakes. I was never given a call back when promised and turns out they were dishonest in saying they were working on my account. Thankfully the customer service representatives through 611 made up for this experience but I would not recommend this store to anyone. read more

Mike at the store was so amazing! His customer service level is absolute quality. I called the store to try and get UVerse to our house. I explained my neighbor had Uverse but was told we couldn't receive it. I also explained that we shared walls with our neighbor. He was on the phone with tech support for two hours, got us a jet-pack to use in the interim. We are now able to get uverse installation. Mike also called a week later to follow up. Peet was so professional, efficient and knowledgeable. He listened to our needs and quickly helped us find what we needed. He assisted with the technical questions we had at the same time. In truth, this store deserves no stars, but I couldn't post it until I gave it at least one. I was sold what I was told was a "new" iPhone 6. Later that day, I discovered it still had not downloaded embedded apps like Google maps AND had two other email addresses in it when I tried to update other apps with my log-in info. When I took the phone back to the corporate AT&T location (on SW Fwy) the following morning, I was told the Studemont location was an "Authorized Dealer" store and any transaction there would not appear in corporate records. In order to replace the malfunctioning phone, I had to go back to the Studemont location, return that phone for a refund, then go to a Corporate Store to get a new one. When I tried to do this, Studemont employee (Daniel) insisted the phone was new, that the two other email addresses were in the phone "because that happens when data is transferred," that the sale was, indeed, in the Corporate Store's records, and I had to either take the phone back "because it's working fine now" or pay a $35 restocking fee. When I insisted on a full refund, Daniel called his district mgr, but went in the back room to talk to him so I couldn't hear what was being said. He said the mgr refused to refund the restocking fee. Furious, I paid the fee, then went to the SW Fwy store and told them the whole situation. The mgr there told me 1) everything I'd been told at Studemont was not true, 2) that "Authorized Dealer" sales records were separate from Corporate sales records, and 3) that if the phone had other customers' email addresses in it already, it had been used, then exchanged by another customer, and the prior customer's data had not been completely removed. Bottom line: it was NOT a new phone. It took 3 hours to sort out the situation--all lost work time for me--before I had a new working phone. The sales rep called AT&T Customer Service, and I was asked again to explain what had happened at Studemont, including the name of the employee involved. I was told again that the treatment I'd received at the Studemont location was unprofessional and inappropriate, and the information I'd been given about the condition of the phone, the data transfer/unexplained email addresses, and sales records were all untrue. They refunded the restocking fee and upgraded my data package at no extra cost to make up for the hassle. Any employee who misrepresents an exchanged, malfunctioning product that has been used by another customer as "new" is not just unprofessional, he is dishonest. I'll never go into another "Authorized Dealer" store again. AT&T should be embarrassed to have its name and logo on any storefront whose staff behaves in this manner. read more
