This AT&T is terrible, worst experience I've had getting a new phone. First we went in and it was super easy ordered a blue iPhone 17 Pro Max, great! Well they didn't have it in stock so it was going to be delivered in a couple weeks. No issue there. The issues started when we got the confirmation email an hour later saying the phone was in Cosmic Orange, so we called and they said we have to come back in so back into the car we get and drive 20 minutes back to AT&T for the second time in one day. We get there and they tell me there's nothing they can do since the order has already been processed. They tell me I have to wait until to orange phone is shipped to my house then I can bring that phone in and they will order my blue phone then. Okay that's annoying but whatever. The orange phone gets delivered and I drive BACK to AT&T, they tell me their system isn't letting them do a return so they will just order the blue phone and told me to keep the orange phone and bring it back in when my blue phone comes. So yet again another drive to AT&T with no help and no reason to drive there. Finally I got my blue phone, now I have both phone and I bring them back to AT&T, they take the orange and transfer everything to my new blue phone, finally I have my new phone and don't have to worry about this orange phone. Three days later I get an email saying I never turned in the orange phone! You HAVE to be joking me. I call Monday and they tell me there's no manger in the store and that they will back me back in an hour. No one ever called. I had to call two more times to get some help with an issue they caused. So at the end of this I drove to AT&T 5 times and asked for some type of compensation. They "waived" my fee of $35 dollars which won't be reflected till my next bill... I was told it would be returned to the card immediately. All in all I will NEVER go back to this AT&T, they don't pay attention to what they are doing and are very careless. I will drive hours to get to another AT&T before I even considered going back there read more

10/10 would recommend this store over any other AT&T store. Beyond helpful, responsive, and go above and beyond. Aric has helped with my previous 13 PM sim issues, corrected other AT&T screw ups for me, and etc. Aric also helped me lower my internet bill, and wireless bill with upgrading devices. Ari is an amazing manager, and leader at the store. She's very blissful to be around, and overall cares for the customers. Great service, selection, and staff. read more

Finally caved in and got a quality phone (iPhone 8). Met with David to set it up. He was very helpful and personable. It took a while, but that's 100% my fault because I like to talk to people. The actual setup of the phone was a breeze. I was originally going with Sprint or Verizon, but when I read the reviews between the three big carries (not just on Yelp), there was a huge trust gap. AT&T won going away. I should have taken a picture, but I just got the phone (with no case) and didn't want to risk it while standing outside the store (concrete below). This was a good experience. This place is horrible! It took me over 2.5 hrs to upgrade my phone. The manager let me sit there for over an hour while her employee worked with another couple. I was the second person in the store yet that lazy manager couldn't be bothered to help me. She even had the nerve to sit over with the other couple and just listen and chat wile I was sitting there being ignored. The WORST part was that they couldn't turn off an alarm for one of the phone displays so I had to listen to that nerve-wracking sound for several hours!!! Overall that was the worst experience I have had with a retail store in a long time and it could have been much better if the manager actually did her job and wasn't so lazy. I will never return to that store again and am seriously thinking about leaving ATT specifically because of that manager and her horrible attitude! read more

What a joke.... say hello at least when you walk in the door. Three workers when I arrived at 7:08 pm on July 26th 2019. Don't know the workers names but one heavy set white guy with a beard and one skinny black guy with glasses wearing a Samsung t-shirt and no name tag and one black female. They were all taking care of customers but say hello when we walk into the store. I pay a lot of money a month for service but no social skills at all for any of these three individuals. I felt like I was bothering them when I walked into the store. As I am sitting here typing, another customer just walked in and no one even greeted him as well. Unreal. Ended up leaving without getting helped. Thanks ATT Update...July 27th 9:10am arrived. At least greeted us at door this time but it's now 10:10 am and still sitting here waiting. I must say, i was blown away! I forget our sales person, but was she awesome. She was really short if that helps pin point who we had. Any who, her level of customer service was amazing. I had done so much research prior to going in, and I told her that upfront. So she quickly changed gears to match my expertise and not give me the whole sales pitch. She was super friendly and made sure to go over my plan and purchase info. I used to manage a VZW store, so I know all the tricks and the trade of the wireless industry.... Wasn't to happy that another associate grabbed a tablet and Fitbit and just dropped it in front of her to "pitch" to me. Glad she didn't because I would of said something. The environment was way more enticing that any verizon! The staff wore jeans, had TV playing through their partner DirecTV, which was a cool and comforting feeling! VZW still hasn't figured it out, they spend ton of money on "smart attire" and don't have places for customers to sit. Definitely way behind in the wireless customer experience. read more

It was amazing how helpful they were when we signed up a few years ago. They couldn't do enough to earn my business and help me with my new phone. How times have changed. When I brought a problem to them earlier today, a young African American woman would not bother to help, but rather went further in her efforts to piss me off. She's been there 8 years. Perhaps she should find a different place to work - preferably away from people. Never have I had such poor service. If you can avoid this place, do so! I will!!! read more

I agree with prior reviews that this store has terrible customer service. They are extremely slow and inept at what they do and they are deceptive in their pricing. Be very wary of any plans you sign up for as they will gloss over the charges and you will be in for a surprise. They will add extras without consent. And soo slow at all they do! read more

I recently moved to the area. I went to get an iPhone upgrade. Our sales associate promised us we had high speed fiber internet at our new place and we switched from Spectrum to AT&T to get a bundled discount on our internet and mobile service. The AT&T Technician came to our home and told us that we were lied to at the store. The max speed we can get is 35mpbs. Buyer beware the Customer Service Reps get commission for all the features they add. I asked to have some of the features, road side assistance/mobile insurance/International Calls removed, she said she'd take them off, she lied and didn't. These reps are on commission and they're worse than any used car salesman you'd ever meet. I would worry about sending a parent or a senior citizen to this location. They WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU! Google: "att sales rep lied about fiber" - you'll see hundreds of other people who were promised the same thing and lied to for the sale. I'm looking into class action, as this is a scam! I would advise anyone going to this location for an iPhone upgrade to go to the Apple Store, they'll give you Apple Care for 2 years and much better service. If you do go to this store, beware of the over promise-under deliver. They'll tell you whatever you want to hear to add as many features to pad their sales stats and commissions. After our contracts expire we will be moving on from ATT! But now we are stuck in a contract for 2 more years! read more

iPhone 6 started glitching bad with the software update (as expected, sigh) so I found the new iPhone I wanted and called this store to make sure they'd have it when I got there and Theo was helpful over the phone. Once I got to the store, I decided I wanted the smaller GB phone and Jordan took care of me. They even had the red iPhone in stock, which was nice. I was a bit indecisive about which phone I wanted, but Jordan was patient and honest when I asked him for his input. He also made me laugh - really fun sales associate. He helped get my phone and new data plan sorted out in no time. Pretty painless and quick process and we left within about 15-20 min I think. I probably could have gone to another AT&T store closer to me, but I'm glad I came here. No wait and efficient service! read more

AT&T has got to be THE WORST company of all companies EVER to deal with about ANYTHING in all of time The simplest of things and 5 months later ... still not fixed worst decision I ever made They messed up porting the numbers , the phone billing , our internet service and billing. The retail store manager, Jacob Jones, is one of the greatest men I have ever met. Not only is he young and hip but also someone I would want my daughter to date. The epiphony of a respectable man who has great morals and a phenomenal beard. That beard is manly but also very inviting, it makes him friendly and approachable. BEST AT&T Service and Rock Star - Brandon Lockard Been an AT&T customer for over 18yrs and this AT& store and one in particular super AT&T employee are why I will be an AT&T customer for life. I own 10 ATT Apple devices for family of 9. If you ever need ROCK STAR service and a cell phone service purchase experience that is RITZ FIRST CLASS caliber vs what is the norm (used car lot creepy sales at any other store) Brandon Lockard is your man! Him and his manager George, are hands down the best I have ever encountered. I feel myself gravitating to this store like the Apple Store does to me in the mall since I know whatever I see or want, I will love and not be afraid of being treated like some third class citizen when it's buy time. I've had billing issues and complex phone migrations challenges but even when a problem persists and pop back up, Brandon always has a smile on his face, is never frustrated or impatient with my problem or stupid user mistakes. Complete professional and non-stop sales man. Meaning even though Brandon lives fixing my phone issues, he never misses an opportunity to recommend a new product or service to either help reduce my service cost or buy the next cool product. I've purchased phones, tablets, accessories and all kinds of ATT services from Brandon. Digital Life for home security. DIRECTV. I think if he was selling ice in the dead of winter, I'd take him serious and order a few cubes just to try to feed him more commission and help his career! Incredibly slow-- had to wait for almost an hour just to return a power cord. Also realized the item had only a 14 day return policy. I was lucky to learn this as I was on Day 12 and had a business trip that week. I would otherwise been stuck with an unusable product. Therefore, I had no other choice but to spend an hour on Sunday afternoon waiting to return my product Will be going to Best Buy (or similar) for anything related to my smartphone- AT&T store is last on the list unless I have no other option. read more

There were AT&T stores closer to me but I went with the Yelp recommendation and drove 20 miles further. The sales staff helped me get just what I needed- no more and no less. This store is a nightmare. I was told by the store rep to call 611 for help with my issue. When I called 611 they said to go to the store. Also, was told they could not port my old phone number from Consumer Cellular. Wrong, was able to do it myself without their help. Manager is not helpful in any way. Employee I worked with was not very knowledgeable, likely because she was new to this position due to high turnover, another reflection on the store manager. Like so many large communications companies, you are given a price for services and the amount billed is always much greater. Going back to Consumer Cellular. Only switched to At&t bacause of internet package. But Continuum Cable now offers a good price performance package. read more

Went back to get it resolved today and figured out they didn't even have any in stock. Went to this store because I was told to by 800 # personnel to resolve issue involving purchase of phone and plan.Was greeted by rude employee who kept interrupting me when I tried to explain what I was told! Walked out and when I calmed down I called store to ask for manager; manager said "yeah I know I was sitting there." While driving to work, that small, quiet voice in my head asked me, "How many times have you been given a second chance?" So today, in similar weather conditions, I went back. I was taken care of MUCH better than my 1st visit. My wait time was minimal. The salesperson, James, could not have been a better person to turn my previous experience around. He was courteous and very knowledgable. I told him what I was looking for and he gave me several options. We came to a quick agreement on pricing and plans. Since they did not have what I wanted at his store he was going to drive to another location to pick up the device I was purchasing. He also found an additional discount through a company with which I am affiliated. Nice job, James. You are now my "go to" person for all things AT&T. read more

WORST SERVICE EVER !!! I went To the store and opened 4 lines. I tried to port one number with them and it took them 3 days and nothing was done. While I was opening my 4 lines, the manager Rob was very unfriendly, not a people person at all, I will talk to him and he didn't even look me in the eyes and he will barely respond to my questions, he didn't even give me the time A-day. The following day I want to get a new SIM card because one of the phones SIM card was not working, I explained to them and they didn't really care at all, they charged me $5 for the SIM card even though it was their mistake. After all these bad experiences, I went and returned the 2 iphones which I had paid cash and they didn't have money to return it, so I spoke with the manager Jacob, which is the worst manager I've ever dealt with, and he told me to come the following day to pick up my cash, I showed up the following morning and they didn't have cash, they assured me to come back at 6:00 p.m. that they will have cash for me, I showed up at 6:00 p.m. that evening and spoke with the manager David which was pretty much as bad as all of them, he told me they didn't have the cash so I explained to him that I had spoken to the manager Jacob, and he told me that they couldn't do anything, I told them that I needed my cash right away, so they started calling other stores and they finally said that the Kannapolis store had cash and told me to go over there. I headed over to Knnapolis and when I showed up over there they didn't have cash nor did they do my return, they explained to me that the return had to be only done in the store where I purchased the phones. I headed back to the store and David the manager was not there anymore so they called Jacob which is the store manager and explain to him what happened, I told the sales advisor to tell Jacob if he could waive the Restocking fees after I had been through and he set no, so I spoke to Jacob and I explained to him all that had happened before and that night and he still didn't care and he told me " I told you before I was not going to wave the restocking fees and I'm not going to do it". After all, they ended up giving me credit on my debit card which took 4 days in order for me to have the money availsble. I left there and headed to Verizon wireless in Huntersville, I opened my lines and it's been the best experience ever with Verizonwireless, anybody that's reading this, do not go to AT&T specially the Huntersvile store, YOU WILL REGRET IT because you will have the worst experience ever. read more
