A few weeks later, discovered we could keep the old number so dropped the new line We had just picked up and added the old number in again. We were assured the recently acquired number had been canceled and disconnected. This store deserves Negative stars. I am an elderly woman who needed help with my husbands cell phone. I was ignored and repeatedly had to ask for help. I even had to ask Twice to just get my name on the sign in/wait list. When they Finally, begrudgingly and disrespectfully decided to grace me with their presence they told me they could Not help me. I've definitely had some frustration with Verizon over the past week. It started when I upgraded my phone through the My Verizon app. I was trying to do a store pickup but the phone I selected wasn't available for pickup so the system switched it to another model and I didn't catch it. Picked up my phone from this location, then got back home and realized the mistake when I took it out of the bag. A call to customer service sent me back to the store to do the exchange and I was told that the store rep could help me order the right phone. I went to the store early on a Tuesday, shortly after opening, and there were 2 customers being assisted plus 1 waiting ahead of me. I froze when I walked in and saw the number of people in the store - I was already running behind for work and debated whether to wait or return the next day since they close at 5:00 instead of the 7:00 time on the door. The manager walked over to me right away and put me on the list - so I stayed. I may have waited 10 minutes and it was my turn. The employee who helped me was very nice, he went above and beyond to help me RETURN the phone (they don't do exchanges) and told me if the credit was immediately issued to the account he would place the new order, although he warned it could take 24-48 hours. Fortunately the credit went back immediately and I was eligible to do another upgrade, which he processed for me with the phone I originally wanted. Unfortunately when I didn't receive any sort of confirmation, I chatted with a rep later that day and learned there was not actually an order in the system. I was able to order on my own later that night. My biggest complaint wasn't with this store - it's the poor customer service overall. A chat rep on the app told me to call customer service to do the exchange, the customer service rep two days later told me to go to the store to do the exchange, and the store rep didn't actually place the new order. It's almost like no one is speaking the same language. Also, I will say that my visit at the store was lengthy and I felt bad for the 3-4 people waiting behind me. It was mainly because the rep had to go to the back room to do any sort of processing opposed to having a tablet or computer to do those things on the floor. He had to go to the back to access my account, then later to print my receipts and was gone several minutes each time. This could be the setup for security reasons, I'm not sure - but it seems very out of date. I will say that the initial locker pickup process was very easy. I received a text message when my order was ready, then I simply went to the store, entered my phone number on the keypad and responded to the verification text I received. Inside the locker was my bag and I was all set. The lockers are inside the store, so you would have to go during normal business hours. The lockers are similar to Amazon lockers if you've ever used those before. read more

I went in and saw Nydia to upgrade my daughter's phone after Thanksgiving. We got everything situated in less than an hour. There was a little issue with activating it at home, and Chat box Customer service was not helpful. But we went in and saw Nydia again and she got things fixed so quickly. She's wonderful! Calling my spouse from our house here in H'ville, the call is guaranteed to fade out into mechanical noise, then drop entirely and disconnect. My husband and I visited this store recently to upgrade his iPhone. He asked for a basic iPhone 8 with no extras, but the salesman added a Total Equipment Protection (TEP) warranty ($13/month) without authorization. The salesman presented a digital pad for two signatures without explaining what was being authorized; we only noticed the unauthorized service when we received an email after returning home thanking us for signing up for TEP. Most people probably assume that TEP doesn't carry a fee and don't notice the monthly fee. When I called to lodge a formal complaint, the Verizon home office vehemently said that the Huntersville store violated company policy, and removed the protection plan. Ensure you notify the BBB if a salesman even attempts to charge you for an unauthorized service. read more

She came home literally sobbing from the way she was treated here today. If I knew this woman's name I would be calling and speaking with her myself. My husband and I made the switch to Verizon 16 years ago when he worked for the Department of Defense. What a nightmare it was dealing with the Verizon Stores and the staff. We now live in Huntersville, NC and my husband lost his iPhone. We are oldsters and went to the Verizon Store in Huntersville and dealt with the most wonderful sales person by the name of Joel. We both upgraded to the 5G iPhone 13. He was able to recover just about everything from my husband's iPad. We paid cash for everything and the only thing I was disappointed in was no red cover for my iPhone. Handled real simple and ordered it from Amazon and had it the next day. I can't say enough about the kindness, patience and time Joel took with us. Our country has had a rough couple of years and Joel made us feel so welcome. If I had any influence I would try to make sure he got a huge bonus or raise. Now my husband's iPad has died and I will be calling to make an appointment with Joel for a new iPad. read more

Like others have said, this is a Verizon store. All of the times that I have been here, there is always some kind of wait. I would say that overall the staff is helpful. My one complaint is that they can't handle business accounts. All of the times that I have been here they have fixed my issue with the exception of my business accounts. It's a Verizon store, set your expectations accordingly. Not a big fan of the rate structure or the bloatware on my phone but I've never really had a problem with the stores. (maybe I'm doing it wrong?) Good location in Northcross Shopping Center at Statesville and Sam Furr roads, lots of protected turns in and out so take a minute to decide out where you need to go, pick the appropriate exit and do that. Been in a couple times recently because I was down here doing other things and remembered that I needed to attend to some telephony issues... first time in had to light up a spare phone because my Z2-Play bricked itself with during a firmware update: took about fifteen minutes to get checked in, serviced, and out the door. Second time I needed a new screen protector when I got the replacement phone. The store was packed and I had the option of hanging around for an hour or more or putting it on at home... it's basically a transparent sticker so yeah I can handle that. I was out in about fifteen minutes again. read more

I came into Verizon to open a new account after my employer dropped cell phone coverage. There were six employees in the store. Instead of helping us release our old lines and start a new plan they directed us to call Verizon Customer Service. At no point did anyone check in with us. We called the day prior and were directed to make an appointment and come into the store. It is baffling to me that no one served us in this store. read more

Horrific customer service. My husband and I came in to upgrade both of our Iphones. Instead of any one helping us we were told to make the order online and pickup in store since we did not have an appointment. Ok, fair enough. We make the order, select pick up in store on 3 separate occasions and then complete the order. When we went up to the front of the store to pick up the order the gentleman at the counter said it had not come through. I pulled up my e-mail confirmation and it said "Delivery" instead of "pick up in store". I said, "I am so sorry. I clicked pick up in store on 3 different screens." The worker replied with "Oh balls". He got the manager who looked it up and as it turns out I did select correctly, the location was just out of one if the colors of phone we chose was out of stock SO THE WEBSITE automatically switched it to delivery with out letting us know. Which was somehow still my mistake and not Verizon's. I guess we were supposed to know what they had in stock. The manager informed me there was a number to call so I could cancel the order to start over. My husband asked him twice if there was someone they could call as I sat there on hold for 20+ minutes. They refused and quite frankly didn't seem to care at all. I'd avoid this location and manager at all costs. Bonus! While I sat in the store on hold I overheard him tell another customer he was overseeing two local locations - so if you're considering one of the other near by Verizon locations, I wouldn't. We ended up just walking out and will wait for the order to be delivered. Incase you're wondering if anyone cared - they did not, the THREE employees (including the manager) standing by the entrance said nothing. Purchase a phone at Verizon in Huntersville at your own risk. THEY DO NOT BACK THEIR PHONES UP WITH WARRANTY AND TELL YOU TO TAKE IT UP WITH THE MANUFACTURER. The staff at the Huntersville store are rude and stupid. I purchased two phones the first week of August 2017 and less than 90 days later one wouldn't take a charge. My sons phone. He spent 3 hours over 3 different occasions and first was told a replacement phone would be mailed to the store and he could pick it up Friday. Friday rolls round and no one knows anything about it and no record of it. Then a supposed manager tells him I'll take care of it if my employee doesn't, then promptly walks out the door to leave. Another supposed manager tells the employee to get one off the wall for crying out loud to replace it. They take it down, show it to my son that its the same phone then take it back and say oh we cant do it due to stock issues. You get nothing but the run around. I called and talked to a very rude black girl who identified herself as manager on duty, and was informed we had to take it up with Samsung they didn't warranty anything. My opinion is either they are too dumb or lazy to do it or don't know how. I told her I'd contact the consumer protection agency of the NC Atty Generals Office and also picket the store and she rudely and arrogantly told me she didn't care. Go to another store or Def. shop on Line !!!. I go to the store earlier today and I am met by some guy at the door who wants to know what I want. I am trying to replace a cable that I purchased in Concord and he tells me I cannot. I was told that this is the corporate office. OH MY.....had I known I would have dressed up in my Sunday best and put my make up on !! How silly of me not to check first before I went. Well, what I did not tell this person at the door (who obviously thinks he has a very important job BTW) is that I also wanted to find out what the correct cable is to buy since I purchased the wrong 1 and I also wanted to ask about getting an upgrade for my phone. Well, since I was turned away and I felt like I did not belong there at the Corporate Office so I left.
