Yesterday I went to the Beverly Center Apple store for help with my apple phone. I was greeted by Sabrina. She was thoughtful, Polite & knowledgeable. I went to the Pasadena Apple Store to buy a plum sports band for a new I watch but the only place that had the band available was the store at the grove. it was paid for and ready for pick up. Javier , a seasonal employee was the kindest , most patient and helpful sales associate. he not only promptly gave me what I needed but helped me with directions for my next errands. Walked right in and was able to purchase my new IPhone 17Pro on the spot...they only had silver, but that's what I wanted anyway. Then, when I had a problem with backing up my new phone, I returned a day or so later and in a few moments they showed me how to get rid of the old backup so I don't have to pay for additional storage. Bad experience. I walked in the store to pick up something. Several staff members were hanging out together talking. I walked up to them but they continued talking and no one acknowledged or asked if I want something. They started and continued talking. I decided to stand by and wait. I did notice that some other people started waking in soon after and these staff member ran to them to attend and where very pleasant to them. They were caucasian and left me thinking may be I didn't appear important enough. Apple staff used to be very friendly. First I think the Genius Bar is the best help you can get with your iPhone, it's a can't get a better deal because it is FREE! I did something wrong when I tried to change my password and could not make my phone work as it did before I tried making the change. I'm 67 and admit I struggle doing anything except making telephone calls and sending texts. Nick was terrific! He got me the right screen and waited patiently as I took 10 minutes to enter a password that the phone would accept. He also updated the setting that solved the problem of my phone not always sounding an alert when I receive a call or text. read more

Jay helped me and my girlfriend and was very rude. It was very strange. She had an appointment and had simple questions about backing up her computer before running a diagnostics. He was sighing and talking down to her in a demeaning tone. Everyone else seemed nice though. Started off great, employee was very patient and explained about the apple watch we were looking to purchase. After we decided to buy, thats when things went downhill. A different employee came to help us with the payment, and she added a charger to the bill when we never asked for it. My girlfriend told her that we do not need the charger but she pretended not to hear her and would not take the item off of the bill immediately. She rushed us to purchase it, acting like she was so busy. She gave me the ugliest attitude when she came back to do the refund. This happened at about 11am on a saturday. We were 2 out of 3 total customers in the entire store. There were about 10 employees standing around. read more

The people are very rude at this store. The Concierge snapped at me while I was waiting in line and I had to go back to the store to get my receipt emailed to me because I never received it. The man talked down to me saying I just don't know where to look for my receipt and he was very annoyed that he had to send it to me. When I was there the first time for my purchase no one showed me the receipt just the total on their phone device. When I recently looked at the email receipt, I saw that they charged one item twice and I have been trying to get in touch with them by phone and no one answers or they pick up and hang up. I have been calling for 4 days in a row now. Even Apple Care could not get through to them. Do not trust this place. Personally, I don't want to go back to that store and I can't get refunded with Apple care because it was an in store purchase. Such a nightmare. The Apple Store at the Grove is much better. Shoutout to Brendan at this Apple Store location for the top tier customer service! I unfortunately shut the trunk of my car on my iPhone 13 mini and shattered the front glass. I made an appointment at Apple Beverly Center and drove there the next day. My phone was functioning fine at this point, aside from FaceID (because of where the damage was to the top section of the phone). Brendan was the initial point person - he explained things thoroughly and was super nice. My phone was out of warranty, but I opted to pay for the glass replacement out of pocket because I like the size of the Mini and don't want to upgrade yet. Here's where 4 stars instead of 5 comes into play...I was told to come back at a specific time a couple hours later. When I showed up at that time, my phone wasn't ready. I walked around the mall and waited another 30-45 mins before checking in again. Once it was ready, I paid the invoice and went on my way, however, as I walked back to the parking garage, my phone started rebooting repeatedly and became very hot. So, I turned around and went back. This time, a different Apple store employee helped me and wasn't the nicest. He seemed annoyed and didn't really listen to what I was explaining. Eventually he ran a new diagnostic test on it and found a different issue, not related to the original damage. I can't really say for certain when/how that happened, but at that point it needed other parts in order to fix the new problem...which were not in stock. Brendan came back over to help out - he talked me through all of the options again and put in the order for the new parts. While I waited, I was able to pop my SIM card into an old iPhone 7 and use that for a couple days. Not ideal, but I made it work until I got an email three days later that the parts came in. This time, Brendan did the repair himself and made sure things were all gravy. I just got my phone set up and restored from a backup and it appears to be in perfect working order. Overall, a good experience, and most of the staff here were helpful and kind. read more

Not only were the employees rude but they refused to replace my 1 year old MacBook Pro. My brand new MacBook Pro started overheating and shutting down losing all my work several times a week, went though about 5 trouble calls til I had to bring it in. They refused to replace the brand new laptop and just gave me faulty refurbished parts. (Logic boards, fans, sensor, etc, pretty much instead of honoring their word and standing behind their product) The MacBook still overheats (not as bad as before, it shuts down periodically three times a month or so rather than once every other day. Even after the fix, I've been on over 10+ trouble calls and went to the store several times. This will be my last Apple product I will be ever purchasing. I bought a brand new MacBook Pro that was a lemon and after trying to prove that the product was faulty (rather have a root canal) they just replaced the inside with faulty refurbished parts and still doesn't function the way it should. I've lost dozens of hours of work because of this purchase. This is a picture of my MacBook Pro I purchased. It got so hot it burned the exhaust area. And they still didn't replace it!!! I lost my data multiple times by the computer crashing multiple times a week. Absurd. I've owned several laptops and other companies like dell have never been this rude. read more

Kevin the manager and the other Kevin and also Ross were all VERY helpful! Thanks guys! :) I came in for an appointment get my boss' daughters phone fixed (I'm his assistant). Turns out she needed a new phone, so I got a nice crash course on the different iPhone models (I personally still have an old iPhone 8 Plus! lol) and Michael also showed me the Mac airs, as I will need a new computer soon! I highly recommend this Apple Store location. I actually live in Santa Barbara and work in LA 1-2 days a week, so going forward I only want to come into the Beverly Center location for my Apple needs! read more

Cracked the back glass of my phone, and this Apple Store is conveniently located to me so I booked a same day appointment. Under the type of appointment I selected "Hardware Repair" and "Back glass is damaged". When I got to the appointment the employee I was working with was extremely unhelpful and after confirming that all I needed was the back of my phone replaced, he told me that they wouldn't be able to do the repair that day because the genius bar was too busy. He said they would hold the parts for me for 5 days and I needed to stop by again within that time frame and they MAY be able to do the repair. When I asked if I could get a firm date they could fix my phone instead of coming in and being told they were too busy again he said no. I have no idea why they would allow me to make an appointment to fix the back of my phone and then tell me upon arrival that they don't have time to do the repair. Made the same type of appointment the next day at The Grove Apple Store at 5pm and got my fixed phone back an hour and a half later. Definitely won't be coming back to this Apple Store. read more

I would give negative star if I could. Worst RACISM I've seen so far. The white ppl and the manager not only refused to give me the help that I should get as a customer, he also tried to block anyone else from helping me. The manager helped this guy turn the music in the store louder so that no other customers would notice his attitude. what I don't know what have I done wrong. I'm a very soft person who just can't really offend anyone, and I don't think I said anything that might have trigger him to hate me.... except that I look Chinese. Horrible experience. Dropped off my laptop for a repair, had come previous months for issues as well, and they said it was a software issue. They kept my laptop 5 days and I had to call support to be connected to them to see why it was taking so long. I went and got my laptop and as soon as I got home it had the exact same issue I went in for. I used to love this particular store, but some one at Apple's management must have lost his/ her mind. First: one of the speakers in my MacBook pro is only playing a very distorted sound. While one could easily make an appointment online for the Genuis bar, now they insist to go through a phone agent - ridiculous, as it is clearly a hardware issue that can't be fixed over the phone. Tried to get an appointment, failed. I used to love the Beverly Center, I really did. I never really cared for the Grove - to much tourism, too many people. Yesterday was my first visit after their remodeling (which was really a nightmare). I like the new design from a designer standpoint, found it cold and unwelcoming though. Yesterday, my wife and I want to get new iphones. We went to this Apple store - possibly the busiest store in the mall, but far from being really busy. We were greeted by three important looking guys with mobile devizes to "check us in". I asked if someone could help us to decide between the iphone XS and XR - sure, there are five people in front of me - just give us 30-60 minutes. As we had a business dinner at Cleo (around the corner) in an hour, I asked if he or any of the two others could quicky explain the difference I was whisked off - come back when you bring enough time. They must have lost their mind. We left the Beverly Center. I am seriously considering busing a Google Pixel phone. I will start by saying that the employee who helped me was a nice guy, good personality and knew how to do his job. No issues during my visit! But here's the problem: I brought my iPhone in for what is known and well-documented as a MANUFACTURER ISSUE WITH MY SPECIFIC MODEL. My phone was saying "No Service" at all times (and I need to make and receive calls). I was told by my carrier & Apple Store that this repair would be free. So my phone was sent off for repair and I was given a loaner. A week later, I am told that they could not repair my phone because the "screen was a little cracked" also known as BS! I am being asked to return the loaner phone, pick up my NON-REPAIRED PHONE and spend $650 on a new phone. I think not! The ONLY issue with my phone is due to the manufacturer, so I want a FREE resolution! read more

Terrible customer service. Do your self a favor and go somewhere else. We made an appointment several days prior to bring in my sons computer which is a year old and having battery issues. It was the weekend and my day off. We got lost in the mall as they moved locations in the mall since last time I was here. We arrived at 4:40 and waited in line for 5-6 minutes. When they got to us they told us we were too late. I explained that there is a grace period, but they said it is 10 minutes. I told them I was there within 10 minutes, but they told me unfortunately the ten minutes are include the wait time in line. Meaning even if I arrived at 4:30 and waited 11 minutes in line they would not see me. I asked for the manager, Tyler Borges Nazari and he offered for the worst customer services ever. Definitely not what you'd expect from the Apple store. He was rude condescending and not helpful at all. I usually have a great experience at Apple but not at this location. read more

Although it can take a while to get an appointment here if you need help from the Genius Bar, once you get in, the whole team here is knowledgeable and the service is excellent. I dropped my MacBook off here to have the battery replaced and the lower keyboard replaced, and the genius who helped me had my computer back to me in less than 24 hours. I think it was actually 14-15 hours. I was blown away as my MacBook is an older one and I was told they may need to order parts. When I came back to pick up and pay the next day, I was in and out in minutes. So efficient! If you need an earlier appointment than the ones available online, it's worth it to keep checking online to see if an earlier one opens up. read more

This Apple store is tiny and barren. Adam wanted to buy a new phone and they told us it would be a 30 minute wait, we didn't mind because we were waiting for my pants to be altered at uniqlo. We had time to kill anyways. But we waited so long we had time to get my pants fitted and altered and still no one came to help us. It's not like the store was busy, we were maybe 7-9 people in the store with 15 employees. I get that they all have specific departments but December is a prime time to buy an Iphone and they know this. The staff was nice but clueless as to why it was taking so long or when we would be able to see someone. We ended up buying the phone elsewhere but I still feel annoyed at this location. read more
