Horrible service! They were only great when you're paying for everything. The trade-in for two phones, promos for screen protector and phone case and eSim card transfer went well. But everything else was horrible. All the workers were unprofessional and focused on the game instead of the customers. They were even discussing how much each coworker placed a bet as well as filming the themselves for social media. As a result, our saleslady didn't install our screen protectors properly. It's all misaligned, full of dust, and fingerprinted underneath. We purchased two new iPhone 17 Pro Max yesterday and ended up coming back today. Our saleslady wasn't there but we had hoped to get another worker to fix it for us. We bought the "lifetime warranty" for the screen protector and phone case so logically we should get a replacement easily. Instead, the workers fobbed us off and wouldn't even replace the screen protector because "there's nothing." It was a bit hopefull initially when the worker admitted the camera protector had clear dust inside. Yet even this they failed at too! When the first phone's camera protector was removed, the worker removed it using a box cutter. This of course resulted in brand new scratches on the camera lenses. The second phone we didn't bother with because the worker offered the same box cutter removal method. When we asked for the manager, the workers again tried fobbing us off by giving the general AT&T contact info. The worker refused to give their manager's name. So we got them to write down their name and the other workers involved on a sheet of paper in their own handwriting. If you're able to, don't go to this AT&T branch. You'll come out with a useless "lifetime warranty" for your over $1000 phone's screen protector and camera lens. I hate that our initial saleslady convinced us that those extras were worthwhile. Who can beat the promise of unlimited screen protector replacements for basically free under the Buy 2, Get 1 Free promo. Our phone protectors were $60 each while the screen and camera protectors were free or really reduced from MSRP. If you ever have to go to AT&T to trade-in or upgrade, save yourself this angst and just get the phone only. Don't trust the workers to install the accessories correctly even if it's a "good deal." Otherwise, you'll be left with brand new damages that'll lessen your phone's value -- all by the workers too! read more

Update: I was told by the store that my phone was "lost in transit" even though it is marked "delivered" on my AT&T app. They claim that there was a robbery at the store, but refrained from stating this on any phone calls they made to report my missing phone, and were adamant on the phone that it was "lost in transit" and not stolen. Cannot make this stuff up. So sketchy. First, I go to upgrade my phone and ask about the difference in speed and camera quality between the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 pro, and the guy doesn't know (isn't this his job?). Secondly, I need to order the phone because they don't have it and it's going to take weeks and will arrive when I'm out of the county on vacation. I go to pick up the phone when I'm back in town, and I'm standing there waiting for over 35 minutes without anyone even acknowledging me. Complete waste of my time. read more

I am sending a different one to the IRS as something very corrupt is happening at this store. Dear _____________, During what should have been a simple and seamless upgrade from one iPhone device to another, a set of fraudulent circumstances came to light upon closer review of my bills and speaking with several members of your customer service team. On XXXX, X, 2024, I visited the AT&T store at 2900 Los Feliz Blvd in Los Angeles, California, after coming across a promotional offer on the official AT&T website. I aimed to upgrade my iPhone 11 Max to the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I was fraudulently misled and encouraged by the sales representative, who said her name was Terese, along with her manager Manuel, to believe that adding an additional phone number or line would be free and be of help from a promotion standpoint. However, this was not true and dangerously false. Instead of receiving the bulk trade-in value of my phone, which should have originally been placed with my original xxx-xxx-xxxx number, it was placed under contract with the unnecessary xxx-xxx-xxxx line to reflect a 36-month installment plan for $33.44, which was then offset by a promotional credit with trade in for 36 months at -$19.45. This, in itself, is a willful and fraudulent act, as the below will describe: I was not informed or authorized for a plan to be attached to this number, which is exactly what happened. The Unlimited Premium Plan for $65.99, along with all other applicable service charges, taxes, and fees, was attached to the XXXX number. I was never told a plan would be applied to this number, and I was misled and lied to by omission of facts, and there was zero disclosure from the sales representatives at the store. In essence, I'm paying for three plans for two devices, and my trade-in value is inaccurately represented throughout the process, as represented in the mishandled and intentional additions to a plan I never asked for regarding the number ending in xxxx. Each customer service representative I spoke with today was kind and courteous but equally baffled and perplexed by why a sales representative would encourage a new line or number. All agreed that it should never have been attached to the xxxx number, as that number shares the same physical device space as the xxxx number. One customer service representative was quick to point out that this can be an unfortunate and common issue when doing business with a third-party store such as your location on Los Feliz Blvd. I was not told that this store was a third-party vendor acting on behalf of AT&T. Clearly, I was deceived and manipulated into paying more into something than was necessary and the balance remaining toward the new iPhone 15 Pro Max is in error. To achieve resolution, it is imperative that the xxx-xxx-xxxx line, all plans, fees, taxes, and service charges be promptly removed. AT&T was my service provider for 18 years in my business... and for 18 years I was faithful to them because I believed in them. I finally opened my eyes and realized they are not as competent as they were 20 years ago, I had technicians come in and out at least 4 times a year because of a weak signal and every time I they came it was the same excuse.... Apparently the corporate office was not able to help me. On top of the that they were charging me for the entire time I had no service or signal and every time I called it was an hour or more of explaining to them the problem..... FINALLY I went to Verizon and they were able to help me fix the issue. I'm so glad they are competent and truthful in their response and I'm happy to see some integrity which ATT lacks at the highest level!!!! read more

This place scammed me. I got the new iphone 16 and they said there was a promotion that included free airpods. I already own airpods but if they were free I figured why not have a backup? A few months later a 20 dollar charge started showing up on my bill. Apparently there was no promotion they were purchased on an installment plan and the charges conveniently started appearing only after it was too late to return them. Don't shop here. read more

I would know... anyway he was great... today, Monday 10/21 I just had the most unpleasant exchange I have ever had with anyone in charge of a store anywhere in the city. Needed to desperately pay a bill and this was the closest place to me from my job. Across the street from Mimi's restaurant. Small store compared to other AT&T stores that I've been at. Limited parking spaces, but there is free street parking available if you are lucky enough to find a spot. There were only two employees working and they were really busy dealing with long issues. I charged up my phone on one of their chargers while I was waiting. Some people left due to the wait. Once one of them was available, he helped me right away and thank goodness it didn't take long to pay a bill. Would I come back? Only if necessary. When we decided to cancel and leave the store he gave us fake Information about restocking fee, return policy and credit card authorization so he can get his commission. New Sync Cable Acquired SITREP Dam. Just got down to Southern California and my iPhone sync cable frazzed out (the head of the cable got frayed and I could see the electrical lines getting separated). I remember when the sync-cable for my iPhone 2 lasted more than a year. But it seems the quality of the cables has diminished considerably. THE SETUP With my only sync cable now completely defunct, I desperately needed a new iPhone sync cable so I could keep my iPhone charged. So within almost the first couple of hours of having landed at Burbank Airport, I was on my way to this store (which is on the way to my uncles home in Glendale). Once there, I found the basic $19.99 white sync cable. FRUSTRATION But again, as I mention above, the problem is that it seems the quality of these sync-cables has diminished and I can't get a sync cable to last more than 3-4 months now. But I since I am still dealing with an iPhone 3GS, I think I am stuck with whatever they put out. Ce la vie. THE LOWDOWN Props to the AT&T store for having the sync cable I needed. I am up late and can't sleep after realizing how I was completely lied to and taken advantage of by Tai. I came in today on my work break, simply wanting to get help with the 1st responder discount. Tai guided me through everything as if I was going to be on a discounted plan. Had me set up this whole thing he told me was for a 25% off discount. Then suddenly, a device appeared in front of me. I said a few times, "what is that?" He says, "this is something you have to have set up if you are getting a 1st responder discount. You have to pay a monthly fee with 1st Net (a separate phone network) and have a 1st responder emergency phone in order to get the discount. You can just throw the phone away or not use it". ..??? He set this up for me without even asking me if I wanted it. I entered all my information; my debit card number, charged a set up fee for something (I found out later) that I didn't have to sign up for at all. At that point, it was getting late and I had to run back to work. I felt super confused, manipulated and soon realized that I was 100% scammed. Bait and switch! Oh and here's another thing. When I spoke with Tai earlier in the day, I asked about not being able to access my ATT account because my phone was stolen and I wanted to buy a new phone. He told me that I could come in on the 15th for a "special offer" for insurance for my stolen phone and even speak to his manager about it. After looking into the "special offer", it would just be me attempting insurance fraud so he could get a commission. I don't feel right about that.. Also, I wouldn't say I am someone who is easily taken advantage of. I can see through some BS but these people are professional scammers.. impressive! When I returned to work at the hospital, I got an email saying that I was not approved for the 25% off discount but that I was successfully set up for 1st Net. I called ATT customer service and they were also confused as to why I was (sneakily) set up with 1st Net when I didn't need to be. They also tried to sell me home wifi as I was calling about all this. And to add to it all, Tai removed my sim card from my old temporary phone... where is it? So, I sit here, late at night wondering why I am a first responder who cannot get a discount but left with only a 1st responder phone to pay for? And feeling sick about how I wasted so much time at the ATT store today when all I was left with was money stolen and lies. Please, avoid this place. This was my worst experience with any costumer service ever and ATT will be losing me as a costumer. At my job, we put our lives on the line for the people who come to us for help. Our patients and the people I care for, I give them my heart, soul and my everything. I cannot imagine treating humans this way. For what? A dirty commission? Do you feel good about your life when you go home at night? Please don't do this.. to 1st responders who already are so stressed and can't deal with much more. They totally scam you with the "insurance" (which I never asked for and actually specifically said I didn't want), they never discussed it with me and now I'm going through hell trying to get it off. One of the AT&T operators let slip that they get incentives to "sell" this insurance and apparently it doesn't really matter if you cancel it after so they don't care. So this store is creepy but so is AT&T for creating the environment that causes people to behave dishonestly. I cannot wait until my current contract is over because it will be adios, AT&T. You suck! I even had the AT&T operator lecture me on reading the fine print!!!!! How are you suppose to read the contract when 1-they email everything to you so there's no way to see ANYTHING. 2-there is no where that I found in the "paperwork" that said anything about insurance so how am I suppose to see it? I used to frequent this specific location because of the previous manager, Will. Once he left, the store went downhill. I try to avoid coming in at all costs now. The customer service is non existent here. I'm not quite sure how this location is still open. The employees here have an attitude problem. I came back with an iPhone 12 I bought two days prior. The microphone was non-functional the entire time I had the phone so I bough it in to exchange. The woman there first told me the little bit of pocket lint had ruined the microphone. Then she pulled off her mask and blew into my microphone. Thanks there, Typhoid Mary. At least the minuscule amount of lint came right out. I was told I had to pay a $55 restocking fee to exchange the phone after convincing them I didn't break it. I was there in 10 mins A female employee went through all the protocol for 45 mins with my account while the two boys discussed which movie to put on the tv and when their Uber eats would arrive. When I asked if they could get the phone and start to change things over since I was in hurry, the girl said she had to check the stick. Came back to tell me they were all out of stock. Seriously, I usually prefer to buy things online, but Diana made the in-store retail experience SO incredibly enjoyable, that she single-handedly helped me see firsthand the ONLY POSSIBLE future for brick-and-mortar retail locations of ANY kind. She was so sweet and kind, her smile and Disney-Princess-status-epic-sparkly-eyes made me feel immediately better/less anxious that I had to be in the physical location for this particular transaction, rather than hiding behind my keyboard in my pajamas and dealing with zero humans. I'm not lying when I tell you that my experience just KEPT GETTING BETTER. Not only did she seem actually care about her job, her co-workers, and - surprise! - her customers, but she knew all of the deals and offers off the top of her head, and actively tried to help every customer in there get the most out of their cellular service. I went there knowing exactly what I wanted - an upgrade, iphone X, space grey, most gigs available - I had researched extensively so I could make a super quick stop, but found myself WANTING to stay to watch this girl in her element: helping me, buzzing back to the cable customers she had helped earlier, answering all of her co-worker's questions. It was pretty mesmerizing. She helped me realize I was overpaying on my insurance - I was still paying a multi-device insurance even though my ex and I split our lives (and phone bills) last August. She helped me get HALF OFF* my iphone X by signing up for cable , which i needed anyway! She also hooked it up with savings on that as well- like, now I get HBO for free with my cable signup, so I can stop paying for HBO NOW! I came in with a busted phone, and left there having spent WAYYYY less than I thought I would, with a smile on my face and enough money for ice cream afterwards. Diana should actually be a consultant for retail stores who are all struggling to stay afloat- SERIOUSLY. Treat the customers the way Diana does, and she will show you that a wonderful in-person retail experience can be unbelievably powerful. I mean, I left the store, and Diana had given me hope for the fkn future of humanity, not to mention the future of brick and mortar retail locations. And my opinion of AT&T?? Honestly, I didn't think I even liked this service or felt really loyal to it, but you know what? Now I really fkn do! They will price match accessories (i'm sure there are exclusions and limits, but it was freakin' awesome for me), so I got this GORGEOUS phone case and a tempered glass screen protector for good measure. I seriously left that store feeling like a teenager who had saved up for my first major purchase, and felt grateful to have been able to spend my money there. I cannot say enough good things about Diana. Her friend Manny was super helpful too, when she was juggling like 3 sets of customers who wanted her attention and help, he took over and seamlessly continued to make these people smile and get what they needed in order to communicate with the people they love. And at the end of the day, how great is it to get to be helped by someone who can see the gift in that?! She even followed up with me about the cable - apparently I didn't know my building can't get direct tv, so she re-scheduled another appointment with a cable company for me! She actually took the time to make sure everything worked out! Hands down best customer service I've ever had in my life. Guyzz, I didn't realize how starved for kindness i was, but bam. fixed at AT&T. LISTEN UP BIG BOSS: if Diana is not already a manager, she deserves a raise. She actually should be a consultant- I'm serious. No brick and mortar retail store will survive if they don't become KNOWN for excellence in customer service, as well as access to deals that may not be available online. As others have warned, this "authorized retailer" for AT&T is staffed by teenagers on commission who are instructed by the owners to add monthly fees and services to your account without telling you. If you give them access to your plan online they will add an insurance plan ($17) and the Next Up plan ($6) and you won't know it until you get your bill or view it online. I should have expected they were shady when "Maria D" told me she couldn't give me a print out of the changes that were made to my plan. Do yourself a favor and stick to the AT&T website for your cellular needs. read more
