i usually don't leave reviews, but after visiting the Verizon store i really felt like i should share my experience. the service was wonderful, and i especially want to thank Milena. honestly, it's rare to meet someone who works with so much care and dedication. from the moment we started talking, she was very kind, calm, and patient. she didn't rush anything and took the time to help with every question i had. you can truly see that Milena cares about people and wants customers to leave satisfied. her attitude made the whole experience very comfortable and positive for me. i felt respected, listened to, and genuinely helped. employees like Milena make a huge difference. i'm very grateful for her help and also thankful to Verizon for having such a wonderful and hardworking person on their team. read more

AVOID!! Just spend the better half of the afternoon trying to undo a mess that an employee made here. All we needed was a new iPhone. We didn't want to trade in or care about promotions, we wanted to buy the phone, activate it and keep the old one. Sounds simple right? Wrong... it started off by the employee taking a photo of our entire account on her personal device (think address, phone numbers, last four of our credit card, last four of social etc.) and sent them to her "manager" to ask about promotions. We didn't care about promotions because we weren't trading in. There was even a Verizon Business associate at the high top when this happened. She stated to us when the employee walked away that she had never seen that in her career with Verizon and promptly let the manager and district manager know via Teams messagings. We asked her to delete the photos when she rolled her eyes and looked at us crazy because usually that action is frowned upon. Next- we wanted to buy the phone outright. Apparently you can't and still have to finance one month. She hands the husband the bill and she overcharged us for two phone cases, $300 activation fee and a mystery $150 that we couldn't get to add up from the original pricing she gave us. We told her about the errors, she quickly deleted the two cases shoved the iPad back into my husbands hand to review and he still had questions. Never once did he sign, authorize the deactivation of his old phone- nothing. We chose to walk because of this experience and overcharging... behold she had already deactivated my husband's old phone... so now no phone at all and we spent 45+ minutes trying to get it reactivated. It worked for a second, now no service and we are having to scramble to figure out how to fix it.... Do yourself a favor if you can.. AVOID! read more

Avoid this location at all costs. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Calculated disrespect, dishonesty, and managerial bullying, just to upgrade a device that was eligible for an upgrade. This location operates with deliberate obstruction rather than customer service. From the outset, I was met with stalling tactics, circular explanations, and intentional hand-offs between associates -- not to resolve anything, but to wear me down until someone else could take over. Despite my repeated efforts to move things forward efficiently, my time was completely disregarded. Straight answers were avoided, accountability was passed around, and nothing was resolved. The situation crossed a serious line when one associate began audio recording the interaction without my consent. This was never disclosed, never explained, and never justified. That alone is deeply inappropriate and raises serious concerns about how this location treats customers and handles interactions. Management then made it worse. A manager named Yousef (who wasn't even in the store at the time of this return visit) asked to be put on speakerphone by his associate, only to publicly berated me, accusing me of being "disrespectful," while refusing to acknowledge the conduct of his own staff. He further misrepresented how much time he supposedly spent reviewing policies with me, which simply did not happen. Rather than de-escalate or act professionally, he chose to intimidate, gaslight, and rewrite the interaction. This was not a misunderstanding -- it was a pattern: Intentional stalling, shuffling between associates, refusal to provide clear, honest answers, recording a customer without consent, publicly inappropriate and hostile behavior by management, false claims about what occurred. I remained patient and respectful throughout. That courtesy was not returned. If you value transparency, professionalism, or basic respect for your time, avoid this location. The issue is not a single employee -- it is a management culture that enables dishonesty, hostility, and ethically questionable behavior. read more

I was charged $40 for a set up and go service that I did not receive when I upgraded my phone. When I asked about it they told me it was a charge for basically doing their job and helping me upgrade my phone. This was the first time dealing with a non corporate store and I will never deal with them again. Called Verizon customer service and they had to refund me for the charge as well as assured me that I was not supposed to have been charged for that. That's just one of the multiple fraudulent charges on my account. I get they want to make commission but why lose customers over a quota? Besides that, very unprofessional. Manager was talking and FaceTimeing friends and whatnot while simultaneously dealing with customers. Maybe that's why I was incorrectly charged? Joseph was helpful, but the manager, who I believe name is Yousef did not carry themselves professionally. Do yourself a favor and go to a corporate Verizon store. read more

Ordered a phone to be picked up in 1 hour. Called the store, they said they had it in stock. Went to the store, they said they didn't have the order. They said they couldn't help track the order and told me to call corporate. Called corporate, they said the store had it in stock but would not prepare it. This went back and forth for an hour until corporate said they couldn't explain why the store was refusing to prepare the order. They said to order phones directly for shipment to home because the stores are frankly unreliable. In the meantime the store still has the phone in stock with nobody assigned for pick up. Looking into this verizon store's yelp page - this is apparently not a real verizon store? Looks like their business model is to hold on to orders to get corporate to send more phones to the store, and sell those phones to customers who pay full price in store due to limited stock. Explains why corporate recommends against using this store. *Update I called Verizon corporate - they confirmed that this store received the order. I went on site - the store clerk said they couldn't see the order. I called Victra corporate - they confirmed that the store can see the order. So the store IS trying to resell the phone I bought. read more

I highly recommend this store! Let me start with the Manager Zach he was great and helped me with everything I needed to get done with my upgrade and plan change. The other associates were super funny and helped my wife with her questions. The store was empty so we were helped right when we walked in. The store is nicer then other locations and has a huge table with chairs so that was nice. They transferred all my data pretty quick and even got me a free Apple Watch. I was hesitant when they said free but the manager showed explained the data charge and all the fees and everything that I had to pay upfront. The associates are definitely honest at this store which is a comforting compared to some other stores. These guys are pros! The shop was a bit understaffed and the phone didn't answer, so I was happy to have only a short 10 minute wait when I arrived to place my order for a new phone. The employees at this Verizon were the most accommodating duo I've ever met. I had a uniquely frustrating problem with my iPhone, specifically the 12 model which has notoriously been a troublesome model for a lot of users. I went in for help and Melany and Gavin were wonderful the whole time. I ended up needing to get a new phone, and Melany walked me through the trade-in process, and made everything a lot easier. My old phone was so slow and unresponsive, that it wouldn't transfer my data to my new phone, and Melany spent the rest of her shift troubleshooting the data transfer. I spent my whole day at Verizon with a nightmarish phone situation, and Melany and Gavin were unbelievably patient and helpful! read more

Sal - 5 stars I didnt even purchase a phone from here (I'm poor) . The phone I did purchase was not doing what I wanted it to do. After tinkering around with it for 3 hours , I still had not installed the sim card properly. Clearly , I'm not a tech savvy gal. Desperate and frantic , I called this store. Sal offered his help , graciously. I felt bad because I couldn't even leave a tip. What took me 3 hours and I still wasn't able to get the sim card in , ( Don't ask me how I had a kid ) , Sal had installed it in 30 seconds. When I'm not poor , I will have to return to make a purchase from here , provided Sal is still around. As big of a dummy as I am , he still didn't make fun of me , either. Let me start by saying I usually by all my phone cases there because they carry UAG. When I bought a case there last Monday they charged me $60...I have since come to find that full retail price is $39 for the case I purchased. I have already used the case or I would return it. This place blows. Bought an iPhone mini last year and paid $40 for a "premium" glass screen cover that I was told had a lifetime warranty. Brought it in after it cracked and it was replaced easily, without a receipt. It cracked again and this time, I'm told that last time was an exception and it's a limited lifetime warranty. This was absolutely NOT disclosed when purchased. They printed out the receipt so I could contact the manufacturer to get a replacement. The manufacturer's website says it needed to be registered within 30 days of purchase; another thing NOT disclosed so now it's too late. Now that I have my receipt in-hand, I see I was charged $10 for disinfecting phone wipes that I never received (didn't ask for them either but the guy used a couple to clean my screen before putting awful screen "protector" on). This store is a scam. Awful, awful, awful way to do business. Feel like I just got bamboozled at a used car dealership. Hey, Sean D., I'd like my 20 pack of disinfecting wipes; it's the least you guys can do for the bait and switch. Will never shop here again. read more

I am really disappointed that giving a zero is not really an option here!!:-) We went to this store to set up a "family setup" on an Apple Watch. The guys didn't have any clue what we were talking about! That is not that bad on its own! But then he starts to tell us that this feature doesn't exist! When we insist it exists and show him the proof. Be says he can't do it and we should go to the center office and tries to give me an address. Then when I told him, that is fine we'll go there but could you please check they can do it so that we don't drive half an hour in vain, he says he doesn't have time to call (and we were the only customers in the store)! WARNING: Go to the corporate office in Burbank. I went into Verizon LaCrescenta about 5 days ago because my phone was broken. The guy/girl (not sure what he/she identified as) told me I still owed $75 on the broken phone so I tried to give him/her cash and he/she said they don't take cash so I gave a credit card. Then all of a sudden he/she said oh wait you got a special promotion for your phone when you originally set it up and you owe $400 on top of the $75 AND he wanted my broken phone to go towards the fee for the new phone and when I said I didn't want to do that (I have a lot of my personal information on my old phone) he/she made it seem like I had to or he couldn't help me. At that point I felt something was fishy and I walked out. Later I was told by a friend to only go to the corporate office in Burbank because these stores like the one in LaCrescenta and one in Montrose are not owned by Verizon. I was told all Verizon's that are not corporate are run by companies that open up a business and ask Verizon if they can sell their product. Wow! So I went to Burbank and they also told me I owed $75 on the broken phone but there was no added $400. Burbank office was very nice to deal with. BEWARE!!!
