Little did I know, my last AT&T review was read by a Yelp friend that worked for the company. Before you send me hate email claiming I was "bought off", let me begin by saying, I have never encountered customer service on this level before. I was assigned my own representative that called me daily with tips, updates on my phone and different settings to try. In the end, after every option was exhausted, I upgraded my phone and can now say I have been free from dropped calls for 7 days-which is unheard of in my world! Not only do I have service everywhere I go from the coast of Maine to the mountains of North Carolina but even in my own house that was like the black hole. Thank you AT&T for showing me your customer service isn't a dead end and you actually care for your customers and your products. read more

Please note. this review is for the location at 3636 Dallas Hwy Suite 302, Marietta, GA 30064. Avoid this location. Poor service from the floor to the regional manager. I walked in and stood unacknowledged for 5-7 minutes, despite two associates being present, one of whom wasn't engaged with any customer. I had to approach the available associate myself. She put down her phone and asked, "What do you need," with visible reluctance. I was there to discuss an upgrade after cracking my phone. When I asked the price of each model, she repeatedly quoted the monthly payment instead of the total cost. It took five direct requests to get a straight answer. The visit went downhill from there. She made an error exchanging my SIM card and couldn't fix it. She called another associate who wasn't in-store, then her own store manager, before finally reaching regional manager (RM) as a last resort to cover for her mistake. When I spoke with the RM myself, he was dismissive, condescending, and rude, offering no real accountability for the store's failures or my time. Between the wait, the runaround on pricing, the hours I can't get back, and a regional manager who couldn't be bothered to treat a customer with basic respect, this was the worst service experience I've had. I won't be returning to this location, and I'd think twice before trusting this team with anything. read more

Horrible customer service. As a employee of ATT myself I was shocked that the ambience of this store was not dedicated to serving others. Waited over 5 minutes just to buy a phone accessory. Had to wait in line after others who were there to get upgrades etc. why should I wait over an hr to buy an accessory. You can multi task by continuing helping customers who would take more time on the IPAD, and ring out an accessory on the computer. That's why it's set up like that in the store. Both managers did not greet when I walked in the store. They just told they're employee "hey sign everyone in" That's not a greet. I won't be back there, please go to any other att store in Marietta/ Kennesaw this store is a poor example of ATT. read more

It's saddening to see such lackluster service. I went in because the brand new iphone I received had some malfunctions. The employee I dealt with was a middle aged woman from New York and she did not take the time to listen to my story. She was just quick to tell me they could not help and I had to talk to Apple. I went to the AT&T Woodstock, GA store to to activate my new device & and buys accessories. It turned out to be the worst retail store experience ever. After waiting for an hour my device was activated, I bought accessories: accessories, charger and screen protector and holster. Without verify the the holster will fit and and without sticking to screen-protector, they rushed me out because the store was closing. I went in the store again and showed them that the holster was wrong size, I returned the holster but did NOT get a replacement. The argument was I bout a deal buy-2-get-one-free so the holster was considered to be free and I get nothing back. (I figure more so because they did not have the holster for Samsung S21 in the store!!!). They stuck the glass protector. I the glass protector was very cheap and it started developing finger smudge and edges started unpeeling in 2 days !!!. I went back to the store and I was told the though I bought the screen protector in the store, I will have to get the replacement from the manufacturer myself the store will NOT replace it. I had the store receipt & the box of the screen-protector with me !!! I know that the store manager and senior staff will blame it on the rookie student apprentice and get away from their responsibilities. 20 years ago I found out that ATT had been charging my friends grandmother 7$ a month for a rented ROTARY phone for NINETEEN YEARS. I immediately called ATT, cancelled it and bought her a phone. I hated ATT from that moment on. Today I made the HORRIFIC mistake of walking into the store on Barrett Parkway (next door to Barnes and Noble) in order to get a bogo iPhone XR. A nice lady name Marilyn helped me for well over an hour, I had to switch my phones, internet, cable etc in order to get the "free" phone but she was AMAZING. After pulling my credit and signing 100 things, I was waiting for my 1st line to get ported over and I overheard an employee named Casey (maybe KC?) being a complete ass to a woman who appeared to have some mental challenges. He had his arms folded in judgement, he was snarky and condescending and loud. She left upset. The next customer walked up to him but she spoke softly and was visibly very upset. He sat there with his arms folded again,  answered her in short answers, cut her off, showed NO compassion and was just rude. After hearing it for a while, I found out he was a manager. I had a different manager come over to me and I explained that I was a new customer and I was listening to this Casey ass berate not one but TWO female customers. (I think his name was Aaron). He watched Casey being rude AND HE LAUGHED and said "he may be having a bad day". NO MANAGER in that store did anything to correct Casey. Eventually Casey heard me talking about him and started attacking ME. I told him he was rude and being disrespectful to the customer and he owed her an apology. He told me to "mind my business or get out of his store" The lady was about to cry from his berating. She came over to me and hugged me TWICE for sticking up for her. For her while ALL THREE MANAGERS AND EVERY STORE EMPLOYEE did nothing said nothing and didnt apologize ONCE to that woman. One employee walked past me and mouth and I'm sorry, you could tell the employee did not want Casey to know that he was apologizing to me. That lets me know that Casey has a tyrant who probably rolls that store like Hitler and everyone's afraid of him. Which is really unfortunate. After KC unapologetically attacked me I decided I had had enough. I told Marilyn to cancel EVERYTHING and asked for my money back. NOT ONE MANAGER APOLOGIZED to me or the other lady. Poor Marilyn lost her commission but I could not stay with a company that treated a customer like that and then berated ME for asking him to stop berating her. What the heck?!?!?! I went back to Verizon and THEY gave me a free XR for my trouble and a $100 credit. This is a picture of him berating and judging the woman with his arms folded like an arrogant ass. I cut her out of the picture of respect for her privacy. AT&T SUCKS and I will NEVER step foot in that crap hole of a store EVER AGAiN.  CASEY is total TRASH. Incidentally, I left a message for the actual regional manager named Ben something I think it was Abbassi and of course he never called me back. Crap rolls downhill from the top. I can only assume Ben is Trash too for allowing Casey to treat customers like this. read more

This AT&T store has the absolute worst customer service. I went into this store to buy an Apple Watch and iPad. I was greeted by someone yet he had such an attitude when he asked me what I was there for. Everyone that was working were busy with other customers which I was totally fine waiting for my turn but once everyone left all of the workers suddenly went on break and didn't have the audacity to say anything to us. We left and that will be the last time we ever go there. read more

I've been going to this store since it's creation, I've had multiple family plans, business plans and individual lines through this store. Yesterday I went in for a problem with my brand new device and was shocked at the lack of Concern from the employees. The biggest shock though, while I was waiting on hold, an older woman came in to pay her bill and to switch the service into her name after her husband passed away months ago. The customer service rep rudely interrupted her while she was explaining her situation and told her that she did not have to switch it out of her husbands name because anybody can pay her bill... The older woman argued And was trying to explain that was not the sole purpose for her being there that she was trying to settle things and close accounts that her husband had open. Then the customer service rep said if her husbands name is not on the account she loses all the special promotions.. frustrated the older woman left not solving any problems in which she drove all the way up there to do, even after being told over the phone that the store is where she needed to go. I would seriously consider giving anybody in this location your business or money. Customer service didn't fix my issue either but I kind of expected it after the response the older woman received. read more

I just had the worst in store experience of my life with an ATT store, the one at 50 Barrett Pkwy Ste 3030 Marietta, GA 30066, next to Barnes and Noble, Phone number 770 426 3777. I have been with ATT for at least 35 years and this experience was not easy to take for a 74 year old man. They have been less than cordial in the recent past though this one took the cake. I was unable to purchase a $1,000 Samsung phone there because of their attitude and this time after I had bought the phone at Best Buy, a wonderful experience, I decided to try the ATT store for a wireless charger. I called them, they checked, came back to the phone and told me they had it there. I drove there went inside and it was weird from the get go. Finally after telling me to sit and wait they came up to me and said "we don't have your item here for pickup". Then the fireworks started. They threw me out of the store and called 911. I love AT&T but this store needs to be dealt with in a most definite way by AT&T Corporate. This store and the "manager" are doing grave harm to the AT&T Brand. I would like a response from you concerning my last comment to you. If not then I will have to go directly to the Executive Offices of AT&T. Thank You. read more

I came into the store looking to switch phone carriers for my girlfriend and I. Upon walking in I was greeted immediately by three employees who were all waiting to assist us. Having just come from the Verizon store down Barrett Pkwy where staff looked over me and helped somebody else because I was in sweats, and then was rude when I got help, this was a total 180. Ryan was incredibly helpful and let me know about all my options for phones and promotions that I was sold instantly. Kudos to him for his professionalism and customer service. My girlfriend and I walked out with two newer iPhones and are already satisfied with our purchase. You rock Ryan! read more

I wanted to change carriers and get a new phone. While at the location, I heard of a good deal as a bundle with an iPhone, Apple Watch, and Internet. the phone I bought was a mess - it locked up consistently, like the hard lockdown when you could not get the shutdown bar to work unless you did the arrow up, down, and then the side for over a minute - not acceptable on a phone that expensive. I returned it (within 5 days) and had to pay a restocking fee of $65 which I didn't think was fair, but I didn't feel I had any options as I needed a phone NOW. I also had an issue with the watch getting sent to my home, and had to go in person again today, my 3rd visit in as many weeks - but that was a mix of the credit card company putting a hold because the store put the phone and watch through as 2 separate orders, which I guess raised some red flags, but on my second visit, to replace the bad phone, I asked about the watch then and hoped I could get one that day. I was told I could get one now for an extra $100, which I didn't think was cool either, so I waited another week, and still no phone was delivered to my house, so a 3rd in-store visit was needed. You might think all of this would result in a bad review, but no. This store is getting 4 stars because the people who work there, and the manager, were so helpful. I have dealt with 5 people over 3 visits (which includes the manager) and they were all super nice - and that is worth something these days IMO. I now have my watch and a phone that works very well. And the manager threw in a free iPhone case which was nice of him. read more

They've got a bit of deceit with them, the rollover points may rollover a month and then expire the month they rollover. Slick, so don't ever think you're banking points, because you can't. None will come into favor for you. They changed the billing cycle effective this July, if you're unhappy with it, they "will double bill you from both cycles" and have you pay an erratic bill for three months before the change in due date is effective the 3rd month. Normalcy would appear in your fourth month. I've never heard of such a crock. I've alternated billing cycles for my benefit over the years with different companies and never had such foolish rip-off tactics in place. Choose very inquisitively your mobile phone plans. Always check yelp/BBB and other venues before making most business decisions. read more

AMAZING!! I've had more than enough hell with Sprint. After three years of no issues, the last two weeks were a pain in my side. Walk into AT&T: no appointment, a little weary of the wait list as there were five people ahead and they seemed understaffed. BUT I stood corrected-- next thing I knew I was next and Jordan went above and beyond to make the process as seamless as possible. There was a couple hiccups with the system but nothing a little patience couldn't fix! I was able to get a trade in credit and an even bigger discount through my employer. Jordan is so relatable, patient and very easy to work with. The staff has a keen sense of humor, which makes for a fun environment. Especially when customers can play on words with employees. The store was quite busy when I got there the day after Christmas. There were approx. 10 people ahead of me and I waited only 15-20 min before being helped. Kendrick was the associate who helped me. He was fabulous. I explained to him what I wanted and he got it all together for me in a few min. He wasn't pushy, gave me a few accessory options, and set up my new service quickly. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. Even though the gift cards my father gave me said they can't be used for billing, Kendrick double checked and said that they could and we applied one that same day :). I couldn't be happier with the iPhone 5s and the service I got. read more

I walked into this store today, and I was not greeted by any of the at least 5 representatives standing around doing nothing. I walked up to one of the available reps( who was leaning on the counter) and he did not say anything to me except, "what do you need?". Instead of explaining to me the new process of authorizing me as a user he simply disregarded my interest in upgrading. I would not be writing this if he had simply explained to me the new policy, and treated me with respect. If it even is a new policy? I have never had an issue with this before today. read more

My family went into this AT&T corporate store to ask some questions regarding one of our phones that we wanted activated. We were greeted by Kim the store manage who was very kind. She said she would get one of the associates to help us with our questions. Sge directed us to Marilyn. When we started asking Marilyn our questions she started getting irritated at us the started treating us like we were stupid for asking our questions. We stopped and called Kim back over and informed her of the way we felt Marilyn was treating us. Kim apologized and then we left without resolving our questions or issues. As soon as we left we went right down the street to T-Mobile and their employees treated us very kind and with respect. And they were very eager to answer any question we had. So we had T-Mobile buy us out of our AT&T phones and they also paid our ETF and got us new T-Mobile phones at a cheaper rate and cheaper service per month and with no contract. I would strongly recommend not signing with AT&T especially at this store and would absolutely recommend T-Mobile!!! read more

The following is documentation of the phone conversations between AT&T and Lundsten Northcross Property ("LNP"). LNP had 3 phone lines with AT&T. The January through May, 2016 phone bills were as follows: $217.67, $217.31, $217.31, and $217.13. This monthly phone plan included $51.95 for a wireless device that LNP never used but it was part of the plan. The contract between AT&T and LNP was a one year contract that expired 6/9/16. John L. the owner of LNP received letters to contact AT&T to renew the contract or face higher service costs. 5/26/16 - John calls AT&T. Representative offers 3 lines at $50 month each and $15 for each line for long distance. The wireless service is cancelled. This represents at least a $80 per month savings from the current plan not including taxes ($50 reduction in wireless device not using and $10 per line). 7/2/16 - John receives June bill from AT&T for $449.77. The rates are not based on what was agreed on 5/26/16. The wireless service is still part of the plan. John calls AT&T rep Jessica and she says to pay the entire bill and there will be a $229 credit. John pays the bill on 7/8/16 with check 1281. 8/5/16 - John receives July bill from AT&T for 454.09. The rates have increased and still contain the wireless service. John contacts AT&T and talks with Norman and eventually Norman's supervisor Stephanie. Norman apoligizes for the mixup and offers LNP a package that includes $50 for first line, $25 for second line, $25 for third line plus $5/line for long distance. The plan does not include wireless and totals $115 per month without taxes. Norman and Stephanie assure John that charges will be made retroactively from June 1st and will result in a credit. They issue a credit request #080516B5W55320ZY. John receives an email from AT&T that the wireless service has been cancelled for number 704-488-4931 on 8/5/16. 8/11/16 - Shaun Carman from AT&T calls John and says the credit is being processed. John notifies Shaun that LNP will not be paying any more bills until the billing rate is correct. 9/1/16 - John receives August bill from AT&T for $451.04. There is a $382 credit but the current charges are $378.95. The total bill is for $451.04. None of the current charges for phone lines are correct. The wireless service is still on the plan but has increased from $50 to $100.82. 10/1/16 - John notifies AT&T that LNP is canceling the service plan and will pay only agreed to charges for the months of June through September, 2016. 10/5/16 - John receives notice that the LNP service through AT&T has been suspended as of October 5th, 2016. John receives a September statement for $729.91 which includes $451.76 past due and $278.15 current charges, the wireless is finally removed but the phone charges are $289.15 instead of the agreed $115. 11/2/16 - John receives an October bill from AT&T which includes $734.41 in past due and $246.46 in current charges for a total of $980.87 due. The phone lines are for monthly service from Oct 25 to Nov 24th even though the lines were disconnected on October 5th. John calls AT&T and spends 2 hours talking with service rep and supervisor Angelica (ID AC822X). They both insist that all of the charges are correct and that there is nothing that they can do. When John says that the charges are not consistent with past phone bills, or what was promised and agreed to on 5/26/16 or promised and agreed to on 8/5/16, the AT&T reps said that the plans offered to LNP by AT&T reps were not accurate. Even though John agreed to those plans, AT&T says since those plans are not available, LNP has agreed to different plans at much higher rates. John said that at $150 per month for 4 months (June, July, Aug, Sept) the cost should be $600. LNP already paid $450 during that period. The balance should be $150. At $200 per month for 4 months the cost would be $800. Less the $450 already paid the balance due would be $350. John offered to pay $350. AT&T reps said that the $980 was accurate and that is the amount that should be paid. For month of October, received a final bill from AT&T for 447.17. John paid this bill with a check market "paid in full". This was a more than reasonable amount that I paid to resolve the situation. Over a month later, John gets another bill for 457.54. There is a $450 termination charge. AT&T is not entitled to say that LNP had a contract when the contract expired in June 2016. Even though LNP had a verbal agreement multiple times, AT&T reneged on all verbal agreements. There was no contract in place. The termination charge and any charges after final payment is fraud.
