Its insane for a legacy Corporation of over 100 years old!, an International Company like At&t would allow their stores to bamboozle customers. My nightmare started in March 2025 when I went to this Massapequa store on Sunrise Hwy and brought 5 lines from Tmobile. The salesman and the manager promised to best my grandfather Tmobile plan of $250 after tax. Shameless salesman guaranteed their first line responder plan: for around $198 before tax, 5 free phones with unlimited data & text. Complete scam artist; turnout the phones were not free; data were not unlimited etc and my fist bill was $758, second $580, third $365. Two managers at different Att stores in Manhattan were disgusted for the deceitful treatment that I received in Massapequa because no current plan can beat what I had with Tmobile. They couldn't remedy the situation and advised me to continue reaching out to Customer Care. After 90 days of fighting, managers at Massapequa are nevrr around, same for the disgraceful salesman. Customer care was no different, even worst. This nightmare with At&t cost me for only 3 months nearly $7,000 total including 5 phones. The salesman took my 5 Tmobile phones which he was not supposed to since the plan did not require. Customer Care @ At&t can't find where the phones are since he, the salesman said he sent them to Corporate. I went back to Tmobile after 90 days, and since the Att salesman kept my tmobile phones; I had to buy 5 new phones; but the Customer care from Tmobile was unbelievable and helps me during the transfer back with discounts to compensate for the lost from At&t, since I was a Tmobile customer for over 15 years. This store is an absolute joke. Their employees are beyond incompetent. Went in looking to switch from Verizon, we were told for 2 phones activation fees and taxes it would be $340, charge the card $750 than go oh that's a mistake let me refund it and do it again. They only refunded a certain amount telling us there was a restocking fee. Restocking fee for what ? We don't have anything. Tried ringing things up again telling me oh I won't ring up this screen protector it's a wash, sir the restocking fee is $55 this screen protector is $45 ( ridiculously over priced ) that's a $10 profit in your favor that's not a wash. We just voided the whole damn transaction just to get a bill for $232 not even a week later for 2 phone lines that aren't even active. read more

Unprofessional doesn't sum up what this store and management truly is. We've had ATT for years and we went into this location for the first time, a gentleman by the name of German "helped" me. I simply wanted to change my number and get an upgrade. Instead of getting those two simple things, I get a new line, NO promo on my new phone and something called "next up" added to the account. I went back today to discuss the matter and all of a sudden, German doesn't know how much the plan is, he doesn't know how much the phone costs, he doesn't know how to read the bill according to him. I know the bill takes a cycle in order to reflect the changes but you as a store representative should know exactly what you're selling to a customer. If you're not capable of doing your job, say it and we can both save ourselves some time. If you don't know how to properly communicate with the customer, have transparency and "SELL" the CORRECT way, sales aint for you kid. German proceeded to say.. 3 lines is the same price as having 4 lines. He told me the phone was $25 a month for the next 36 months, for a iPhone 15 pro max. Tell me how to sign up to get a iPhone 15 pro max for $900 and paying 3 lines is equivalent to having 4, can it be the same price for having 5 as well? The manager Ana is no better than her employees. I ask her to break down the bill and to make sure it gets rectified, instead.. I wait an excessive amount of time to just get a bill printed. FYI, if you ask for a manager.. make sure you don't coincedentally catch them on their "HOUR BREAK". As soon as a customer asks to speak for a manager, everyone disappears to the backroom? Ive been with AT&T for over a decade and I'm constantly upgrading iPhones, buying cases, screen protectors, earbuds, etc... I live around the corner from this location and have been there more times than I can remember but EVERY time I go in there and this guy with a long beard and unpleasant breath is there it's a problem. Today I received my iPhone 15 pro max and I wanted to add a line for a family member and give them my 14 pro max but I knew I should have waited for the other guy because no matter what I need help with or want to purchase he can't and will not help me. Only HIM! I kid you not EVERY time! Of course he's there when I go in and against my better judgment I decide to allow him to "help" me when I should have said that I'll wait for someone else. Clearly I wasn't thinking. I lost my license but had my old passport, credit cards and I know my PIN number and passwords but like I said I'm ALWAYS there and of course he says he can't use it ( when three other employees have helped me with NOT ONE problem on NUMEROUS occasions) I know my Pin number and I gave the others the same identification! Only with this guy named Rubin. He clearly doesn't want to be bothered with me because like I said every time I go there he doesn't have what I need or I have to call AT&T The other employees are very nice however if a guy with a long beard approach you just know you won't get anything you want or need. Like I said I should have waited for the other guy because RUBIN is the only one that has a problem. He lied saying something about my id has to be scanned! What a lie! Scanned where??? He said it won't be accepted through the system! What a liar! . I spend a lot of money EVERY month with AT&T and it's a shame that people like Rubin works with customers because it's to the point where I'm about to change providers. This store is around the corner and it's not right that I have to wait until he's off to get help. What's the point of having passwords & PIN numbers? Not everyone drives! He shouldn't be helping customers because clearly he doesn't want to. I'm glad i didn't open the phone yet because I will be going to Verizon. I spend too much money every month on my bill, phones and accessories to be treated like this so I will be returning this phone back to AT&T. It's a shame because everyone else is very nice and accommodating but I'm not working around Rubin's schedule. I also wanted to add that I've even used my id in the Apple Store and guess what? Came here multiple times to transfer my account to FirstNet and it was a horrible experience every time. Apparently only the manager has the codes to do it. So you have to be there for the person with the codes. Then you also have to wait for that person to help you out. Then you want to go through the set up email, I'd verification, then customer support line, and realize no one knows what they are doing at all. This store took several attempts and many hours over several hours to not even get to right. I had to call the FirstNet phone line who helped but still didn't work out all my problems. Every-time I ask a different person I get a complete different answer... Worst customer service period stay away if possible for sure! read more

I waited a bit before I wrote my review here. Wanted to see if the deal planned out...and it did. Prior to coming here I first tried calling for and offered deal, then tried going to a privately owned att store for the same deal. Both times the deal never stuck and never came to fruition. I went to this location about a month ago with the same issue. They fixed it and told me it would take 1-3 months to take hold. It only took a month and they were super friendly and knowledgeable. I went to this location to become an AT&T customer. The associate told me about a promotion where you can port your number over for $700 credit. I asked if I had to trade in my phone and she said no. Repeatedly. I get my bill and the credit wasn't taken off. I waited another month and it still wasn't taken off. I called AT&T and they said I had to trade in the phone and since it was past 30 days they wouldn't do anything about it. I ported two numbers so I lost out on $1400. I was also bounced back and forth between associates when I was in the store and it took over 20 minutes to help me because the manager left to take care of something at home. I would not recommend this location and make sure you look into the details of a promo before you go in because they really messed me up read more

This store is horrible don't recommend anyone coming here. Employees are unprofessional as well as the manager Muhammad. I made a switch to first net and they had a promotion going on for a series 6 watch which I haven't received still waiting 2 months later. I was told by att customer service that I could get the watch front the store if it was available now they are telling me that I can't get the watch from them because the promotion expired. Every time I go here and get anything or have a device switched the guys take my phone number and text me asking me out. I'm almost positive that that's against either the law or at least the rules of working at an AT&T store, it's super unprofessional and inappropriate. There's also an older wou man who works there who is super unpleasant to deal with. Asurion phone insurance with AT&T is worthless. Replace your phones with someones else's phone problem. Once you have a refurb with asurion Apple wants nothing to do with repairing your phone because you already dealt with a third party. Read the contract coverage stinks. read more

Not one employee was wearing a nametag or uniform. The boy that helped us was less than excited to make a sale or even speak to us. Seemed like he had just awoken from a frat party. He let us leave expressing that we would switch to Verizon with the comment, "it will be the same wherever you switch to." Classy. No customer service, no professionalism and my continual research today led me to far more information than this asshat could provide.
