I am absolutely appalled by the treatment my elderly mother and my 86-year-old grandmother received at this AT&T location. They came in seeking help after spending countless hours on the phone trying to unlock my grandmother's phone and resolve issues with her home phone voicemail. Before WES THE MANAGER even understood the situation, the manager's first response was, "I'm gonna tell you right now, if it's not active, I can't help you." He immediately assumed the phone wasn't active and spoke to them with an impatient, dismissive attitude instead of taking a moment to listen. The situation became even more disturbing when my 86-year-old grandmother set her purse beside his desk and accidentally touched his laptop. Instead of politely asking her to be careful, he yelled, "DO NOT TOUCH MY STUFF!" My grandmother was visibly startled and tried to explain herself, while my mother asked if he was serious. Rather than de-escalating the situation, he shouted, "I'm not helping you. I'm calling the police," and actually picked up his phone and called them. Calling the police on two elderly women who came into your store asking for help is beyond unprofessional. At no point was there any attempt to calmly resolve the situation or provide even basic customer service. The complete lack of patience, compassion, and respect shown to two senior citizens is unacceptable. This was one of the most shocking displays of customer service I have ever heard of. A manager represents the company, and this individual demonstrated behavior that reflects terribly on AT&T. I sincerely hope corporate investigates this incident because no customer--especially elderly customers--should ever be treated this way. read more

Went to Mcninville store today for a new phone. Wes the employee was the only one in the store. He looked up our account and told me I was not on the account so he could not help me .I told him I was on the account because for years ago I was told the same thing and had to have wife come in to get a new phone.At that time I was put on account. I explained this to wes and told him this sucks.Wes then told me not to say he sucks and to get the f out of the store. He got right up to my face yelling get the f out of my store.i once again said he sucked and he shove me with both hands.i left the store and went to our account on line and yes I am authorized iuser on account . please stay clear of wes in this store. So, I've had a BlackBerry for nearly two years. Paying about $67 a month for the services. You know the unlimited data plan I said I would never use and now cannot live without. Yeah, well, there you have it. Of course, you cannot obtain unlimited data out there anymore. Yes, they are wise to us and now sell it in bite sized pieces. However, they will grandfather you in if you already have it. However, I digress, my bf, a long time IPhone user said I definitely needed to think about upgrading to the IPhone so I said. Well, perhaps for Christmas, I said, we can both upgrade, to IPhone 4's. And so the story goes we head into the ATT Store in Mcminnville. My guy said the folks in Mcminnville are always friendly and so we decided to go to that store. We first off we picked one of the busiest shopping days of the year. The Saturday before Christmas. The store was busy but not terrible (although, I'm sure terrible was just around the corner). We were greeted by Todd the manager, who got an idea of what we needed I-Phones, and merging of plans and then once he had a sales person free he handed us over to David Fishell. David worked with us and got us the phones and accessories (just like a woman, a phone needs accessories) Yeah, I can't believe I said that either. (smile) Anyway, we got the phones, accessories and in my case, I got the contacts transferred over to the IPhone from my Blackberry and we were good to go. All in all the entire contact seemed to go smoothly and took less than 45 minutes. We merged plans and I haven't seen the bill yet but I think in the end it will save us both money. We were paying a great deal of money separately but now that we've merged phone plans it should put a tidy sum of money back into our pockets. Thanks to the folks at ATT Mcminnville we are happy with our new phones. read more

We just bought new phones from Amazon and brought them in to get help setting up. A very nice fellow by the name of Justin helped us. He had lots of patience and did a fantastic job of getting our phones set up. I can't recommend them enough, especially Justine! read more

Wanted to repair or replace the tablet on our plan with a new model. Had a difficult time getting any questions answered about newer models. Then we had to work very hard to actually make the purchase. The salesman didn't know the prices, and wouldn't look up our account without our asking several times for him to do so. We were told that they didn't have our tablet in stock, but he couldn't tell us when it would arrive or if other locations had one in stock. At one point the other salesman, who I think was a manager, laughed at our situation. Not sure if he was laughing at us or his coworker, but it was uncomfortable. When we finally made the purchase, we had to ask for the receipt after the sales guy told us we could go. The sales guy also kept sticking his hands under his mask to rub his face while he was touching my tablet. Save yourself the trouble and order online from a different AT&T location. read more

AT&T/Directv has bad customer service. Been their customer for 20 + years . Recently moved used the movers guide they offer and it was a nightmare. Had 2 techs come out we're not able to connect service called representatives for them to say I do not even have an acct. and not help. Very dissatisfied with the service. Would not recommend!!!!! read more

Went to the store helping with activation of the phone I ordered online. Might as well have not the person working was less than helpful and even after eventually trying to help could not and told me to call 611. After calling the 611 like I was told sent me to a text rep screen who eventually chatted back to tell me to call an 877 phone number. Once I reached someone there they helped me fine and was somewhat more friendly. Long story short might as well do everything online and over the phone instead of wasting your time and gas to go to the att store. read more

My husband and I had one of the smoothest transactions at the McMinnville AT&T store. We worked with Cat who was very relaxed and non-pushy when suggesting other items or accessories. She also looked into our current usage and suggested a plan that would save us a lot of money per month. I found that to be going above and beyond my usual customer service transactions. We have been thinking about moving to straight talk instead of AT&T and now I'm really glad that we did not. It was all in all a fun experience and I can't wait to work with them again. The thing about any AT&T store is the wait can be horrendous or startlingly short. It depends on the day. I've been in and out in ten minutes or two hours if everyone is there with thirty two questions and there's that couple who's never had a cell phone before. Go on a weekday morning and you'll get quick excellent service. read more

Dismal customer service. I was having trouble with an Iphone and needed to get a new power cord. There were 3 people working, yet no one could even be bothered to greet us. We were left standing there waiting for over an hour, even though there were only a few other customers. read more

I walked into the AT&T here on Keck next to the grocery store. There were two customer service reps, each on helping a customer. There was a third customer waiting at a table. After five minutes, the third customer walked out muttering in disgust. They had been waiting for 35 minutes. I decided to wait, thinking it couldn't be much longer until the two customers ahead of me were sent on their way. My presence was not acknowledged by either service rep for ten minutes. Then I was acknowledged briefly. Then I waited 40 minutes. My transaction took 5 minutes. These reps wouldn't interrupt their soliloquies about endless garbage options their heavy set customers could use with their plans. I was curt and brief, my transaction took five minutes. This branch would not last more than a week in a freer market. The customer service was atrocious, the reps were unfriendly, very insincere in their knee-jerk apologies, and generally impotent in social matters. I will not use AT&T again. read more

I wanted to return a product purchased at this particular store, but was told that I had to have the exact debit card used to purchase it in order for them to make the return. When I told them I didn't have that card because it is my wife's card, they said all I need to do is bring that card in and they can make the return. I asked for a location in an area closer to where my wife works so she could return it more easily. Instead of helping me with that, they repeated that all I needed was to bring in the card and they would return it. I said I understand that and again asked for a more convenient location. At this, the employee got up, went to the door and held it open to me. Then, the other employee came over and said he would help me if I would step outside. When he took me outside, he told me to calm down and stop being disrespectful to the employees. He also threatened to ban me from the store. All I had done was ask another question. I hadn't even raised my voice. Then, he repeated that I just needed the debit card. I told him that I understand that but that I've tried to return it twice now and its been refused, so I am looking for a location more convenient for my wife. He told me he can't guarantee that any other store would accept the return and he repeated the same thing about needing the right card. And he through in that he could have me removed from the store and banned from returning if I wasn't careful. Both employees treated me as if I was yelling and screaming and causing a big scene when all I did was ask if there was another location that might be more convenient for my wife. It's dumbfounding is why I am upset with the service. If I was using profane language and calling names and yelling and screaming, I would understand their reaction, but at most, I slightly raised my voice after being told the same thing about the debit for the fourth time and my request for another location being ignored. read more
