Dishonesty. I was told that a deal existed when in that present reality, it did not. The manager (James) literally pretended to be reading from the list of promotions and told me that if I bought an SE with Next Up, I could trade in the phone after a month, pay a third of the value of the SE and have a 16 for free. He made it seem like a great deal, laughing and all happy for me. He was acting and lying, fully aware of his lie. Later, two reps in person and two on the phone told me he had in fact lied. I then had to pay $55 to return the SE (At and T on the phone did reimburse me). He also continued to lie, saying that he had not in fact lied. I have left my phone number for the district manager (linda) who has not bothered to call me back. This is a first for me in a phone store. When you go there, prepare yourself as if you are about to buy a used car. Do not trust what you hear. Research it, then make a decision. read more

Based on my experiences with other AT&T stores my expectations were zero going in. The person I spoke with, who turned out to be the manager (I didn't ask for the manager- I'm no Karen) was above and beyond helpful. He even gave me his card and told me to call him if my issue persisted, so he could reach out to the regional manager. I was impressed with his commitment. Takes a hour to get a screen protector replaced. And don't call because they just put you on hold indefinitely. They sell you their products with a warranty but expect it to be very time consuming and difficult to replace. read more

Background: my wife and I bought an iPhone from the Medford AT&T store several years ago. They did everything to make it usable, setting up email for each of us, the voice mail box, everything. Cut to 2021. We bought a new iPhone for me when a different phone I inherited (long story) was lost. The manager told me it was difficult to recover the data from a lost phone, but it was worth trying, so bring in the phone when it arrived (the store was out of stock) and they would set me up. I returned and ass-hole-boy, I would like to believe that is his name, was completely useless. He began by claiming they could not retrieve data from a lost phone, refused to set up my email account, refused to help me set up voice mail (it took a helpful neighbor to solve that one), and he pretty much did nothing else. 1. Purchased Samsung Galaxy S4 active phone outright Over 4 exchanges due to lack of performance and when I asked if I could just receive a refund or credit to purchase a different brand, they stated there was nothing they could do. This is not just this location, this is AT&T throughout. I frequently travel, so I had been to several NY, WA and CA state corporate stores. 2. I purchased the screen cover to protect and they no longer assist with replacing, despite purchasing at their corporate store. They have ALL of my personal details on file, but do not retain this information in order to make for a smooth transition /transaction when visiting other corporate stores. 3. I purchase prepaid cell service and they overbill me for having a Canadian credit card, despite it being in USD. Additionally, they constantly required me for nearly a year, to enter a store in order to make the monthly payment. Online did not work. It took at least an hour most times. Finally, my auto-pay started to work and this month, I seem to have a glitch. There has been NO change to my credit card information and ALL other auto bill-pay accounts work without error. 4. AT&T has frequent service outages and issues with monthly bill-pay. I have been receiving reminders that prevent incoming /outgoing calls. It takes 2 - 3 tries at times. 5. Many text messages are delayed or do not allow for pictures to be added. 6. My time and date have been off multiple times. Sometimes only by an hour and others by 3 hours (today) for almost a day before it resolved! Currently, my phone is showing 4:05pm and my iMac is showing 2:05pm. My home clock also shows 2:05pm, so I think it's safe to say that my AT&T purchased phone is off. 7. Maps does not always work well on this phone, either. AT&T always points fingers rather than resolving any issues. read more

For those seeking flip phones... I simply called this location to ask about flip phones as I am transitioning off of smart phones. The sales rep preceded to tell me to go to Walmart for a prepaid. Me: "I'm not looking for a prepaid flip phone..." Rep: "I'm just trying to save you money, I've been doing this for XX years and I know what you're looking for." Awful service the woman said when I asked if they carried replacement battery for phone. She told me they don't carry them and told her I brought my last four phones there she said very rudely that Apple doesn't do that ( another lie ) I said I'm talking about AT& T I'm have our business account there. She said hey I don't like the tone of your voice and hung up !!!! When did AT&T start hiring rude telemarketers ? We put a official complaint in with the corporate office however pretty sure it will go nowhere :) Life in the retail stores and they want to know why customers don't wants to shop in stores any longer ! Dustin went above and beyond when my phone died -he even helped me convince apple to send me a new one while he also hooked me up with a great upgrade so that I could trade in my old one to AT&T. I made an appointment and my wait time was zero. I'm definitely coming back when I need to. I feel very valued as a customer. read more

Went to the store over the weekend to resolve an issue that I was having related to adding a line. It was a very confusing and atypical situation, but Kerry went way above expectations with his customer service! He contacted multiple entities to resolve the problem and did not make a fuss when we weren't able to complete the sale that afternoon (even though he had spent approximately an hour of time with us) due to porting issues. Excellent customer service!!! I would go back to this store and work with Kerry any day!!! He made me and my spouse feel like we mattered even though we are only two of many AT&T customers. Current ATT customer. Went in yesterday morning looking for a new phone. After a few minutes of standing there looking lost, a middle aged woman with a haircut normally reserved for 17 year old male skateboarders asked me what I was doing there. I told her, and she proceeded to play a with some electronic in her hands for another five minutes. She then quoted me some rates more than twice than what is advertised online. I mentioned this and she became even ruder to me. Told me I was wrong and if I had really seen those rates I would need to bring in proof. So much for quick, easy, helpful, affordable service. After I was more or less told I was lying, I decided to go across the parking lot to Verizon. When I told the woman this, she shuffled away without so much as a 'nice day' or 'goodbye.' No smiles, no eye contact, no helpfulness. Needless to say, I am now a happy Verizon customer!!! read more

I am writing this review because we had Direct TV, now ATTTV. We decided to cancel early and my gawd, it took over 3xhours of phone calls, listening to all the lies and being told there was no early cancellation fees because of everything we had to go through just to cancel service. Never again! I have been a loyal customer to ATT for well over 20 years and to be treated as rubbish beneath their feet, makes me want to totally cut the cord with phone service too. People lied to us, told us that we were getting money back since we paid until the 20 0f November and cancelled Oct 20. PAID 138 for no service, and they do not prorate their service! That is a scam!! So I pay them for not getting service and then they have the nerve to charge me 80 for early cancellation fee? WTH? Under staffed and a 75 minute wait with no estimate given to how long the wait may be. Two out of the four workers were out to lunch when we came in at 4:15. We were there for 90 minutes and the two employees that were helping customers when we entered the store were still with the same customers. There were several other people also waiting for assistance. This seems to be more the norm than not with AT&T stores in my experience; terrible customer service and extremely under staff. read more

Just got my phone my Friday. It wouldn't charge Saturday or Sunday. Customer service said to do a factory reset, which has been done. My phone still doesn't hold the charge. The store said once it leaves their store it is no longer their problem. Customer service number said return it to store.
