    Saved my MacBook after an unfortunate Diet Coke spill on the keyboard…read more I was wrapping last-minute Christmas presents while watching YouTube when a roll of wrapping paper knocked over my drink. I immediately flipped the laptop over, shut it down, and left it upside down while I ran to the store for rubbing alcohol. I carefully wiped down the keyboard and called this place as soon as they reopened on the 26th. For context, Apple told me the computer would likely never work again and tried to sell me a new one. This shop was reassuring on the phone and accepted the drop-off right after the holiday break. The employee we spoke with (may have been the owner considering how competent and dedicated he was) was extremely kind at drop off. I had my computer back within 48 hours, before New Year's Eve, after a deep internal clean. They confirmed the cleaning was successful, that there was no risk of corrosion over time, and no expected shortening of the computer's lifespan. I paid under $100 and walked away with a perfectly functioning MacBook. Nearly two weeks later, there's no sign at all that anything was ever spilled. So grateful to everyone at Quick Fix!

    My mom's old flip phone was getting an error message regarding her sim card. Originally went to…read morethe El Camino location that is apparently closed now. Not wanting to go to the mall during chaotic xmas week, I opted to try the Sunnyvale location. David was working alone and I must say, he handled the situation pretty well considering there was a homeless woman ranting about her personal problems. He had the diplomacy to respond to her questions without engaging too much. After about 15min, he politely interrupted her spiel and informed her he needed to help his next customer (me). Very professional and polite. He struggled with popping the back panel off my mom's phone and even had more of a challenge trying to get the sim card out. I appreciated how careful his efforts were so as not to damage the sim card. Turns out the sim card had been slightly dislodged from the slot and the phone was unable to read the sim. Perhaps my mom had dropped the phone at some point. Once he reinserted the sim card, the phone worked again. He also informed us that the sim card can be replaced if we have any future issues. Lovely and respectful gentleman. Wonderful customer service!

    I have been a T-mobile customer for 10+ years and pay the company over $200/month on a plan that…read moreincludes voice lines, data, watch etc. I was misled to believe that if I cancel a voice line that I no longer need, that my monthly bill would drop in total amount by the cost of that line. I confirmed twice, both at this store and calling the call center, that indeed cancelling a line would drop the total bill. The moment I cancelled my $35/month line, my monthly service package cost went up from $120 to $150/month. Basically, this is a scam. They lead you to believe that cancelling a line would save you money, and when I did so they completely increased the price of the package to $150/month. No wonder T-mobile has been getting a lot of heat recently for how they mislead customers.... good luck trying to grow revenue at all costs!

Despite the store being extremely busy, Jeff was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Not only did he make sure I was able to complete my transaction before the promotion ended, but he also helped set up my new phone while simultaneously assisting multiple other customers. Even when some customers became impatient and pushed for priority treatment, Jeff handled every interaction with professionalism, courtesy, and composure. It's rare to find someone who combines strong sales skills with such outstanding customer service. Jeff went above and beyond, and Verizon is fortunate to have him on the team. He represents the kind of employee who leaves customers with a great impression of both the store and the company.

Sometime the wait can get a little long, and one time they told me I had to go to Cupertino to get my phone unlocked (after I got there, the guy made it clear that I didn't need to go to Cupertino) - but all those things are understandable, esp. given some of the complexities with my situation. I chose Verizon because apparently their data coverage in China is pretty good relative to all other companies. But I won't find out if that's true until probably later this month.
