    I love coming to the Best Buy, Mountain View location. Located in a small strip mall, this Best Buy location definitely has a presence that makes it the focal point for this area. Located literally a block away from the freeway, this location. Also makes it convenient to get on and off if you ever need to go towards the Peninsula or the South Bay. Because it is a retail store, the services are vast and the value can range from medium to higher price points. It has everything from Home entertainment, to appliances, to computing. Literally, it has tech everywhere. This place will get you and your wallet in trouble, if you're not careful, lol. Finally, this is one of the last locations in the Bay Area that actually has a car/ auto installation bay. Meaning anything from speakers, car radios, and even alarms can be installed here. Although, it doesn't have a full staff working regularly in the installation space. The team that does work regularly, are very competent and professional. I do wish, at times, they could be a little bit more engaging. Especially, to customers who are unfamiliar with what the installation entails. but the rest of the store is fantastic and very friendly. As I stated earlier, it's one of my favorite locations to go to, and I will continue to go here if I'm in the area. Heck, I will drive out of my way to go here. Haha.

    The modest appeal yielded no flexibility or reconsideration. Not the "Best Buy" in town.

    Seventy-four days ago I purchased my LG fridge (LRFOC2606S). This morning, I walked by the fridge into a puddle. Lo and behold, the water/ice dispenser was leaking water. I did some troubleshooting, and discovered why it was happening and how to fix it. Problem solved. Naturally, I thought it might be a good idea to purchase a Geek Squad 3-year repair plan. They were kind enough to inform me that because it's more than 60 days, I would have to go back to the manufacturer. I was only two weeks beyond 60 days. They offered no mercy and sent me on my way to the manufacturer. This is my first major appliance purchase from them and it likely will be my last. No grace means no future business where major purchases are concerned. After spending thousands of dollars I got no help from Best Buy. They don't live up to their name. The gentlemen who delivered the appliances were outstanding. They were in and out, including full setup, in less than 30 minutes. The salespersons I dealt with were kind and professional.

    So this review I am giving only because of one employee that went out of their way, listened and helped solve my issue fast and attentive. First as a Geek Squad customer I went in to see if they could help me on determining why the HP computer I bought at the original Mt View store on Charleston seemed to have the wrong cord for charging, Since having this computer, this cord has never sat in well, and thus does not hold a charge. I had to wait forever over 15 minutes, to get someone to help me cause they were short staffed, helping another customer and had a new girl training. Finally that girl helped and she actually was very nice. The issue was she really did not help in solving the problem. I was not interested in any after market cord or non HP universal cord. She passed me onto someone in computers, I told them the same thing, What did they lead me to , a cord that is Universal. Even though the person was trying to help and push it on me, I had to just say " No this is not what I want" My other scenario was that I needed a holder for my mobile phone and some type of devise that would allow hands free in my car coming thru the car speakers. Do you know, they sent me back to where the refrigerators were, and even the people that install and no one knew how to direct me..not one! So sort of frustrated, I was then approached by this young guy named Colton that worked for Best Buy. He listened attentively and knew exactly what I needed. In fact, right in the area where I was looking and no one could direct he found my solution for the hands free" devise that I needed. He also helped direct me to the place I would find for the holder for my mobile phone while driving. Thank you Colton( not sure of spelling) for knowing the solutions, the answers with my phone and hands free enabling. I appreciate your help!! BTW, the rest of the staff there are very nice. I only encountered one young guy that was working that was sort of put off with questions. Other than that, super friendly and helpful employees, But again, hat goes off to Colton for all his help.

    SERVICE! SERVICE! SERVICE! I walked into the store, no matter what the occasion, the STAFF is always amazing and willing to help. The team members on staff are clearly experts on all things apple. The best part of your experience can be determined by you. The staff is willing to help but only if you choose to; otherwise they will leave you alone. This location has a simplistic layout, classic for Best Buy I pre-ordered an Apple Watch series 9 and chose in-store pickup. It was ready immediately! Overall I'm pleased with the positive experiences I have at Best Buy. I am happy with my purchase - thank you

    Geek Squad tv wall mount done wuickly by Edsen and Isaac. They even vacuumed the area when finished. These guys are pros.

When my old oven stopped heating, I decided to replace it rather than repair it. I found San Jose Appliance Store through Craigslist, contacted Anthony, and arranged delivery of a used oven. The oven was delivered promptly, and my old oven was hauled away for an additional fee. Unfortunately, after installation, I discovered that the front burner would not ignite properly. When it did light, it often released gas into the kitchen first, creating what I believed to be a serious safety concern. To the company's credit, they sent a technician to inspect the stove. The technician was courteous, but the repair was unsuccessful. During the visit, brake cleaner was sprayed inside my kitchen, leaving strong fumes throughout the house. My wife and son both complained about the odor, and my son later developed a headache. A few days later, another repair attempt was made when a replacement part was brought to my home unannounced. Unfortunately, it was the wrong part. I then contacted GE directly and discovered that the serial number listed in the advertisement was incorrect. Once the correct information was identified, I learned the stove was also missing two racks and required a replacement handle. I ultimately spent about $150 replacing those items. I was also unable to obtain a proper invoice because I was mistakenly given another customer's paperwork. When I raised these concerns, I was told the stove had been sold "as is" despite the advertised 30-day warranty. I was also told the missing parts and defective burner were merely cosmetic issues and accused of "trying to demand money." To be clear, I never demanded money. I simply asked the company to provide the correct replacement part so the stove could be repaired safely and function as represented. That request was never fulfilled. Anthony briefly suggested a trade-in arrangement, but multiple messages later indicated that no exchange would take place. The only remaining option offered was another repair attempt, by which point I had lost confidence in the process. Adding to my frustration, I later discovered that the oven I paid to have hauled away was being advertised for resale on the company's website. At this point, I have purchased the necessary burner part myself and will hire a qualified technician to complete the repair. This has been an expensive lesson. I was not seeking a refund, discount, or special treatment. I simply wanted an oven that worked safely and a company that stood behind its warranty. Update: In response to the owner's reply, I would like to clarify a few points. My concerns remain unchanged. The oven was sold with a faulty burner, and despite two repair attempts, the issue was never resolved. I also did not "demand" money. I initially proposed a simple solution: that the business owner obtain the correct replacement part and ship it to me, which would have eliminated the need for any refund. When no effective resolution was provided, I purchased the correct part myself. This was not merely a cosmetic matter. The issue involved a burner that failed to ignite properly and allowed gas to accumulate before lighting, which I considered a legitimate safety concern. At this point, I no longer expect this business to honor its warranty when doing so is inconvenient or costly. My review is based solely on my personal experience. I encourage prospective customers to consider all available information, including both the owner's response and customer reviews, and make their own informed decision.

    We were in need of a new oven since ours stopped working 3 months ago. Found this place on Facebook…read moremarket since we were on a budget for replacing our stove/oven. Went in today and Leslie was very helpful. We found a stove/oven with a glass top and Leslie worked with my budget to include delivery, install and take away of our old stove ALL within hours of when I came in the same day. I received a 90 day warranty and she assured me if anything went wrong before then, I could call her. Would definitely recommend SJ Appliance to anyone looking to purchase large, expensive Appliances yet on a budget. Thank you for Leslie and the team of delivery guys who were in and out in less than 15 minutes.

    Probably would not go to this location again. Bought an Viking stovetop in October 2017, and…read moreawaited for it's delivery. Unfortunately, I made a mistake in my work schedule and was not there for pick-up. Best Buy rep calls to say they will help me reschedule tomorrow, but instead I just get an email confirmation for the next shipment date. Just before the delivery date, I called to confirm the shipping time. The rep told me the stovetop was sold to somebody else. The phone gets transferred to the store where I purchased the stove, and they couldn't figure out where it was but told me it was a labeling error in the system. We wait a whole month to find out after thanksgiving that the stove was shipped to a different warehouse and that they can no longer find it. 2 Weeks into December, they were able to locate the stove and find that it was shipped for repair. It is now January, our home is almost done renovating, and we still have no MF clue where this stove is. We issued a refund today, because we can no longer wait for it to come back to the warehouse. Dont get me wrong here. There are great products here, but make MF damn sure that you are there for delivery, otherwise they will take your stove back and sale it to somebody else while telling you its lost somewhere in the warehouse or repair. TLDR: Only one chance for your shipping date, otherwise they will flip the item back for sales.

There was no pushiness whatsoever and he was just so nice! We made sure we got his name for when we come back. I waited until Presidents' Day weekend for any special deals and we got free installation! I called around for prices after having decided which one we wanted and Pacific Sales had the best price. I went back to order with Jose but he was with another customer and Arash was also very nice and patient. I have to say I am blow away by their professionalism and all around customer service. Based on this, I would have actually still come back even if they didn't offer the best price. I appreciate that they are not compensated based on commission so you can truly feel the team spirit on the floor. I got my dishwasher delivered and installed in about a week. The installer definitely did his job but he was certainly in a rush to get in and out ASAP. Not the same kind of service as the sales reps but no real complaints from me.
