Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday…read more A couple of weeks prior, my iPhone 11 had issues, I went to another AT&T store, and they informed me that I could get a refurbished phone through the 3rd party Asurion. To make a long story short, the refurbished iPhone 12 that Asurion sent me on 5.13.2025 was defective, and although it took 3 trips to AT&T Skokie and another replacement being sent overnight to me by Asurion, AT&T Skokie helped me throughout the entire process, and by Friday 5.30.2025, I had a working iPhone again. (the 3 trips were in no way the fault of AT&T Skokie, it was due to the defective refurbished iPhone 12 that Asurion sent me on 5.13.2025) I want to give a shout-out and appreciation to both Gerardo and Byron. There knowledge and Customer Service was outstanding, and hopefully knock on wood all my iPhone issues are OK now, but if anything goes wrong again and/or it's time to buy a new phone, my first stop will definitely be AT&T in Skokie. Went to Costco and got the phone for less money too! 2. Upgraded my own phone shortly after the iphone 6 release, but didn't get an iphone. Went into store to get help on setting up voicemail. Was told there was a 40 min wait. Waited patiently for over an hour. That's when I noticed that others were just coming in and instead of waiting were saying that they just needed one little thing. And they would take them. What?! I asked when I would be called. They said that there were still two people in front of me. I told the checker inner person that I just need to know how to get digital voice on the new phone. He did his best to help me. Kudos to him but they never called my name and it took two phone calls to Verizon tech support to get the phone working properly. And truth be told it was my son who eventually figured out the issue.

I stoped by again today and he mentioned to me that he recently switched companies so I wanted to leave a review for his new company. (His old company had all five star reviews...this guy knows what he's doing!). He is still located inside the Macnician office in Highland Park behind the Dunkin' Donuts. I didn't know that there was a difference in screen repairs until I broke my phone when I was in downtown Chicago and I went to a different place that put in a cheap screen that failed and then a second cheap screen that had a big white mark on it. I've never had these issues with Craig and I would recommend him 100%. His screen replacement cost is very inexpensive and again, it's always perfect. Thanks Craig!
