I called about a potential scam and some old lady said very snakily and snappy I don't know what your talking about and as I was explaining further and clearly in a slight but controlled panic the low life hung up on me. Nobody would answer the phone I eventually had to put in a call back request which is where I got better service from a blessed angel named Peggy she met me with compassion and actually gave me advice on how to tell who is a scammer as I thought I knew enough about them. Apparently not! Peggy was so compassionate and very insightful and we even laughed. Peggy deserves a raise for her human kindness and understanding the other girl deserves a long talking to. I didn't value the first girl who refused to pick up the phone and the rest for not even answering the phone. I wouldn't select this office UNLESS you talk to Peggy. read more

I have been with ATT since 2000 and this store is going to send me to Verizon. They have the worst customer service I have seen. The staff is either not trained or are told to just lie to people about return periods. I have now bought two products there and never received a paper receipt because they were "bought though my account" then when trying to return the products I am told I was checked out as a guest and they have no record of my purchase and since I don't have a receipt ( because one was never offered to me since it was going to be emailed ) I can not return the item. One was the worst phone I have ever own that was defective out of the box but they would not cover any warranty or return since I had no receipt. This last time I specifically told the staff member what happened the time before and they said they would make sure I was logged in so I would get the email receipt. When I came back 8 days later to return one of the items I discovered he logged me in for 1/2 of my purchases but not the second 1/2. He remembered me and said this is my fault we will 100% honor your return but can you just double check your email before you do it might have gone to spam. I told him I live 30-40 away and could not come back the next day he said no problem you have 30 days to come back. I asked for the whole order up front and nothing was added on after the fact. There is no reason it should not all be on my account. We I came back to confirm that I had no email receipt for any of the purchase from that day I was then told the return period was 14 days ( I called my husband and he confirmed we were told 30 days not 14 ) and that it did not matter if staff remembered me and admitted to not giving me a recipot or keeping me logged in. They won't do a return without a receipt. In the time I sat there waiting for a manager to call them back - who never did and who still days later has not called me back like she was supposed to 3 other people came with with returns and were denied for the same reason. They were not logged in or given a paper receipt. A couple were told the printers were down when they did their purchase. They are selling defective phone, cables that last less than a week before they stop working, and cases you might not like but you won't be able to return any of it because they make sure you don't get a receipt. This is illegal in California but they really don't care. Everyone need to report this store to the BBB. read more

Thought we would give this business a 2nd chance after our 1st trip about 5 years ago was average at best. This time we spend over $5,200 in new phones and got a monthly bill of $650 per month for 4 phones vs what was promised of about $350 per month. Got terrible service from the store manager Troy Johnson and the Assistant Manager who refused to give me her name. We were almost done with our 2nd 2 hour visit for this transaction with a very nice person when the Asst Manager came in and blew everything up. First thing she said was "we don't have time for all these questions because we have other customers waiting." All we had left to do was turn in one phone for the promised $800 credit and return the TV box that did not work with our slow internet. She refused to service me when I told her Troy said we could return the TV box if it did not work. I tried calling the store manager Troy the next day who promised my wife and I..."if the TV box does not work with your bandwith you can return it no charge, I will visit your house in person to connect it, etc." He did not return my call. I went to the ATT&T store at Palladio and Folsom and got the phone and tv box turned in and got outstanding service from Omar Torres Store Manager. I was in and out in 45 minutes. We have several friends and family that have had the same bad service from this store in Placerville after living in the area 20+ years. Suggest giving your business to ATT&T Palladio Folsom. Living in Placerville and owning 4 different business locations in the area, we always try to buy local. In this case suggest don't go near this local business because of their lack of customer service during and after the sale. read more

I have been a loyal at&t customer at this location. That changed today. I recently got a new iphone16 and got the only case and screen protector available at the time. The screen protector cracked and I was sent a replacement. I drove to the AT&T Store to get the screen protector replaced and grab a different case- something more me than the black that was available at the time. I came in and checked in. Was told I was next. A middle aged gentleman came and sat closer to the employee's. When my turn came up the guy cut the line with a "question ". Not a big deal, the employee said I can get to you in a min the lady is next. The guy replied- I just have a quick question. Five minutes later they have a whole phone call going to clear up whatever the question was. The older man looks at me smiles and shrugs his shoulders- the look said he knew exactly what he was doing. It was never a quick question. My issue is this- I waited my turn, the employee never told the guy that he needed to wait. Another couple walked in- why not just have them cut the line too? My issue was quick! Sell me a case and put my screen protector on. But I was told by actions that I don't matter. I encourage everyone to just ask a quick question- apparently you can cut the line that way. I drove to the EDH location and was out in under 10 min. From walking in, waiting my turn and walking out. I don't spend money where I am treated poorly. I work hard for my money and just expected common courtesy. read more

I was told it's like buying a Nissan with coverage- except when you buy a Nissan at a dealer- they help make sure you have coverage for the insured items you have there- that's why you spent extra money there! This girl passed the buck off and even 611 told me they should have done more to help me find a store with what I wanted to find covered under warranty- att screen cover warranties are worthless here because she doesn't have it- won't look at inventory and won't help with checking coverage. read more

Each and every time the staff has been top notch in answering questions, finding the best plans for our needs, troubleshooting phones... just providing all around excellent customer service to me and my family. Just today, I went into the shop to get assistance on turning a new phone on for a family member. The young woman that helped us was fabulous. This is an AT&T vs. Verizon review, and both stores are in Placerville. We purchased a Verizon product first, because we were told about an Apple product launch and sale. Verizon told us that they have the strongest internet connectivity. So, we bought their product and tested it for 12 days. For the 12 days, we had 1-2 bars or it would drop out at our home. After realizing that Verizon's connection was poor, we returned the product back to Verizon. We decided to try AT&T, and we bought the same type of product. AT&T's connectivity was immediately noticeably strong: we got 1-4 bars consistently, and it was usually 2-3 bars. Also, AT&T is much more affordable. At AT&T we got a lot more data for less than what Verizon charged us. Regarding in store wait time, Verizon's wait time on all 3 occasions was longer than AT&T. When comparing the 2 companies' wait time, AT&T, again is the winner. Regarding policies, Verizon promised us a lot, and in the end, they were polite, but we were billed even though we cancelled according to the agreement. AT&T gave us a great deal, and followed through on it. Thank you AT&T, for outperforming your competition, and giving us great connectivity at a decent price. I was discriminated against because I am white by the 2 Mexican women that work at this store and I will NEVER go back. If you are white and pretty you can bet they will wait on the men and then go in the back room before they will give you help. They saw me come in and waited on 2 men and a 60 year old lady before I left. Both of them walked past me and never looked at me or asked if I needed help. They are no better than anyone!! They are the worst wretches this store has employed!! I've been here before and was never treated like this by anyone!! Get rid of them. I would give them zero stars if that was an option. The sales staff here is completely incompetent. They are shady and employ "high pressure" sales tactics. I worked with 3 of their salesmen / saleswomen. One was named Lisa and she knew nothing about the iPad I was trying to finance. I called them TWICE before coming in. They assured me that I would be able to walk out with my new device. Upon arrival, I was informed that they did not have the 2020 iPad Pro 12.9 in stock. They insisted to me that the only way I could get this item was to order it. I told them I would rather drive to the neighboring city (Folsom CA) and get one there. They promised me that there wouldn't be on in Folsom either. They said every AT&T store is selling them "to order". This was an absolute lie! They have them in Folsom. They also told me that if I ordered the IPad through them on that day that I would receive it in 3 business days. It's now been 6 days and I have yet to receive my iPad. I'm beyond upset about this whole ordeal. Don't buy a thing from these people! Just go to Folsom or Rancho Cordova! Edit: received my iPad later that day and it was broken! It won't charge. Brand new iPad in a sealed package and it's broken. read more

On March 23, I ordered Direct TV Ultimate and Line of Sight Internet from ATT & Direct TV. That same day, I cancelled my other service, paid early termination fees, and committed to giving ATT a try. When I ordered online, I was given Tuesday, March 26 as my installation date. Later that day, I received an email confirming the order (#293382080) with an installation date of Thursday March 28th. No big deal. Rescheduling happens. At least I got some notice. My wife commutes an hour from our home to work. We were given a window of 8-12, so she stayed home for a half day to accommodate the installation. At 1:30pm, the technician arrived and shortly thereafter informed us he could not install due to the cell tower in the area being worked on. He suggested we call the local office to sort the situation out. We did. We were promised additional money in gift cards for the inconvenience, and we were assured that the fastest way to get a new installation date was to cancel the order and start a new one, and then the orders would merge at installation. Later, a gentleman in Ohio said that was wrong and we needed to cancel both orders and start a new one. The joint billing department said both of those were wrong and we should have stuck with the original order. We were then told maybe that weekend we would get installation. That then became maybe Monday (April 1), but definitely today, April 3rd. My wife took a second day off of work today in order to accommodate an installation window of noon to 4pm. No technician ever arrived. We emailed Aaron Niswander on March 30th (the regional manager in the area); we never received a response. Between my wife and I, we have spent nearly a dozen hours of the phone between the Ohio customer service line, the local manager, some call center overseas, etc. Our order has been cancelled and re-created several times, each time we have been placed at the back of the line. "The system" apparently only shows certain pieces to certain people; nobody has any idea what is going on. We are now 11 days past our first order. We have no TV or internet. We have no date scheduled for a new installation, which will most likely require my wife to take a 3rd day off of work. I have been assured Customer Service is a priority for AT&T. I have been told they will make it right. I have yet to see any evidence this is true. read more

Dimitri answered all my questions and helped transfer an existing line without any issues. I have mixed feelings about this location. It truly depends on who helps you what kind of service you'll receive. Basically they sell you a phone and they don't tell you all of the upgrade fees prorate fees etc. I was charge 54$ for a 2 day prorate. None of these charges were talked about on the store level Att support and the stores have a huge disconnect. ill sum this Store up - they will do whatever they can to sell a phone but never tell you the back end of your bill and all the extra charges. I will never step foot in a ATT store again awful! read more
