I bought a phone from this store 2 years ago. When I paid it off last week and changed service, the phone was found to be stolen and could not get service on it. I had to purchase a new phone from the new service provider. I went back to this location to take to them about it and they said they could not help me because I was no longer a Verizon customer. For over a week I went to 6 different Verizon stores and called Verizon customer service multiple times daily. No one at Verizon will help with this issue. Did I mention they hung up on me twice. One of the times was during a win back process so I could attempt to straighten out the issue with the so called stolen phone. They didn't even try to call me back on the phone number I gave them 5 minutes earlier. Oh, and the accents of the customer service reps were so thick I could hardly understand them. I'll never go here again. At the time we sat down with an employee to have him help us get new phones and add a phone and internet to our plan. We got so priced gouged without really knowing what was going on. Turned out we grossly overpaid for glass and covers on our new phones. Just felt so misled. We were also told our new bill would be 283$ and went over it multiple times. Our first bill we understood would be high because of the taxes on the free phones. Fine, that we understood. Months later, our bill is always 350$, we feel we were deceived by sleezy sales tactics. Also, how can Verizon charge a fee of 49$ per phone for sitting down with you and selling you a new phone and going over the plan? What's the point of being a customer for 20 years if they're just gonna sneak in another 150$ just to talk to them. Sickening. read more

My daughter was in frantic need to replace her broken phone. She MUST have a way of communicating for safety reasons for her job and needed it by morning. We got to the Verizon store 5 minutes before closing, hoping it wasn't too late! We felt kind of bad, but the person working there was GREAT! He took care of everything, got us a great price for her new phone, made sure it worked and showed her all of the new features that were different from her old phone. He did not rush us at all, and made sure we were taken care of. He went beyond necessary service, and made us feel like valued customers. I am so glad I took a chance to see if the store was even open! Both times I went to this location the manager was very condescending and talked down to me. He was also rude to another woman in the building and was even rude to his own employees. I love this Verizon. With that being said, here is why I docked it two stars. The prices, they never have much in stock and they won't actually look at your phone if something is wrong with it. Went it because my phone got destroyed. Was informed that the 2 for one deal now breaks and I owe $800 for each phone. I was understandably upset. No manager in the store. rep was very rude and when I told her she needed to help and I wasn't leaving she pretended to get me a phone deal and keep me there while she called the cops to remove me. She lied saying I threw a phone. The cops could tell that is not what happened. One person in the store no help. The phones they gave me to use to call into customer support didn't work. I ended up adding a phone we traded in and purchased the new Samsung. We purchased new cases and received a shatterproof treatment that was something out of popular science. I have worked with Jeremiah several times. Each time he has written down prices and shown billing differences in black and white prior to making any official changes. He has always been extremely transparent, patient, honest and truthful. I must disagree with Ellen T's assessment of her situation. It is not under Jeremiah's control whether they where aware that he worked at a contract store or a corporate location. Nor was he in charge of the amount Asurion was charging. It sounds like he did lower their monthly bill, and then they added another Droid. I fail to see that her frustration over the things that she listed was in any way Jeremiah's fault. Recently he took the extra time with an elderly couple while I was in the store. He showed them how to use their phones, all the applications they might need, helped them to the door with the promise that they could come back to him whenever they needed help with anything (including billing questions). We have been to this Verizon outlet twice now. Our first visit was to change my daughter's iPhone into my account - my daughter had passed away so it was a difficult time. Sarah took a hard day and made it better. She stocked me with tissues for my tears, and took care of the frustration. Deceptive and dishonest business practices. Purchased a Samsung S21 Ultra July 2021, based on the advertised trade in of our older phone, supposed to be $600. Was told by staff that it takes about two billing cycles for the credit to be applied. The two billing cycles came and went, no credit. When we checked back at the store we were told that they didn't have any record of receiving the phone so no credit. Went to the Verizon corporate store on Ray Laywer Drive where they printed out a document showing that our phone had been received by Verizon, completing our contractual obligation to receive the credit. Ended up talking to a "financial manager", Josia Shank, who told me that it was their mistake and that we qualified for the credit and would be addressed shortly. That never happened. Emailed him and let him know that we would be contacting Better Business Bureau with a complaint, contacting Verizon corporate with a complaint, plans to picket the Missouri Flat store and possible legal recourse. I immediately received a call from a Kyla Donathan (she told me she was in the Auburn location) who was assigned to take care of our problem. She assured me that we would be receiving a $600+ credit within two billing cycles (familiar story). Sadly, that did not happen. So we are back to the original plan of Better Business Bureau, Verizon corporate, picketing the store, and legal counsel. THE MISSOURI FLAT STORE IS NOT A CORPORATE STORE, IT IS VICTRA. Do not do business with this store. They use delay after delay tactics in hopes to break down your resolve. Very deceptive and dishonest. read more

Had a great experience in the store. Mandy and her associate were very nice. We went in on Christmas Eve to switch four phones from AT&T and it was a complicated matter. The store was very busy, Mandy's associate had to go to another store to pick up a phone for someone. I was very impressed by the way Mandy acknowledged every customer who came in and explained to them what they were waiting on. She helped people who had quick transactions in-between setting up our four new phones. We were there for about two hours. Worst store under the pretense of being Verizon. They want to SELL you something that you don't need and actually lie to your face in doing so. They only care about $$$ someone previously posted "Instead, he talked my husband into upgrading his DROID (he was perfectly happy with the model he had), did some fast talking to "lower our monthly bill," and then when I received the bill, I discover that we have been charged an extra $23.00+ a month for this phone. It should not have cost us anything, except the deductible, but instead it will end up costing $250.00 in insurance coverage + $552.00 in monthly charges for 24-months. I spoke with a Customer Service Rep, Clay, from Verizon today, and after explaining the issues we experienced at the Missouri Flat Road, he explained that because it is NOT a Corporate Verizon Store, there was nothing he could do to make the situation right. Clay assured me that a complaint will be filed against the store, the manager, as well as Jeremiah on my behalf. Jeremiah was a really nice man...he was very personable. However, he was not honest and truly a representative of corporate Verizon. My suggestion is that you avoid this store at all costs, and ONLY do business with the Verizon Store off Ray Lawyer Drive, as this is a Corporate Store. This was a costly mistake, and if I can help even one person avoid making a similar mistake, then I will have spent my time wisely, in typing up this review." I just wanted my saved/archived deceased mother's voicemails transferred to my new phone. Instead I was charged $30 to get some of my old phone's info to transfer over not the voicemails. I was assured by Brittany (a sharp, fast talking liar/salesperson) she would be able to help or refund my $30. Neither has happened. They play a game where we have to wait for Wyatt the supervisor to be there he never seems to be there and never returns a phonecall. Called on Sunday, told to bring in phone, when arrived was told to go home and call their techs, will 2 1/2 hours later, the phone still was not working. Told it was over cache. BADBADBADBADBABDABAD Place. NOT A VERIZON CORP. Store. THEY TELL YOU HUGE LIES, OR OMISSIONS, TO GET YOUR MONEY, TRIED to get $440 just for TAXES on a phone (that I did not choose, they just brought it out, when I ASKED if it was possible to upgrade five days early. And THEN add an extra $23.00 PER MONTH to my bill to pay for the phone. I kept asking where the free phones where or the inexpensive ones you get for renewing your 2 year contract. NOPE they don't have any. Does not work that way anymore, things have changed. They doubled teamed me, continually distracting me from one thing to the next, and I just did not have $440 for TAXES & FEES (for the Galaxy S5...the PHONE was going to cost me $23/mo x 24mos+$500+)to give them. So I left everything there. got on line, found an iphone 5 for $0.99 with 2 yr service renewal. went back had them reverse the order and get me out of that. Then proceeded to ask them about the deal I had found on Verizon.com. They said that did not exist. I said yes it does. They told me that "on-line phones from Verizon were BAD, USED and/or Refurbished. THEY had NEW phones." I finally smelled a rat....I said But it's YOUR company's website....SO.....ON-LINE Phones are not good, they are cheap bad phones, OURS ARE NEW" Bold face lie right there. I said, "YOUR company's o-line phones are BAD, but your In-store phones are Good?" Really? That rat I was smellng, got smellier.... Well, I am going to pick up my NEW iphone 6 I purchased on-line last night from A REAL VERIZON WIRELESS STORE. THESE GUYS FRONT THEMSELVES AS SUCH JUST TO TAKE YOUR MONEY. My husband came here to get a new phone when his old one got destroyed. Of course, any transaction here takes absolutely forever, so my husband, who is diabetic and in his mid-60's, was probably way too exhausted from the ordeal of trying to get his phone replaced when he came into this store back in February. For some reason, they decided to offer him a "free" tablet that he didn't need, without bothering to make sure he understood that there would be a $10 a month line charge that goes along with it for the next two years. The tablet itself is literally the worst device we have - quite useless, in fact - and I just found out that we've been paying $10 a month for it (something I only noticed after Verizon changed the format of the monthly bill so that it is finally readable)! Not only that, but if we want to get out of paying that $10 a month fee, we'd have to pay $155 right now - for a completely useless piece of garbage. Verizon tells us we don't have any other options - even though they can see that we haven't been using the device. So yeah, Verizon itself gets 1 star, along with this contract store. My advice would be to stay as far away from this place as possible. read more

I have waited over an hour to get a small bit of information while the sales people chatted with other customers about personal experiences. The salesman also took a personal call in the middle of my transaction while I just stood there in an unbelieving state.
