Wasted so much time trying to get answers about fixing my phone. First girl that helped us, Willow, seemed like she was unsure of what she was talking about and sent me down to 2 different stores in Sacramento to fix my phone. After wasting most my day I came back to speak with someone else hoping to get any kind of answers. We spoke with Sophie, who didn't know how to file a claim properly and luckily my mom caught the mistakes she was making (needed confirmation email, etc) and she redid it. Neither employee seemed knowledgeable about their jobs, were not polite, and not helpful. I used to like this store a few years back, but they have seriously gone downhill. read more

My experience with their mobile home service is the published download speeds of 100 to 300 mbps, are not what I'm getting. The real life speeds are; Download 30 to 48 mbps on average, Upload 2 to 8 mbps on average, and ping is 22 to 38 ms on average, where peak, and lows can be more extreme, for short periods of time like a few hours. If you read T-Mobil's terms they clearly state that their listed speeds can be changed at any time, at their discretion. Dealing with the store and its manager, everything went smoothly, without any problems. Over all, their unlimited service is livable, considering that their service has been stable, so far. Since all of the other mobile services are doing the same thing with their speeds, on a daily level. I'm satisfied. read more

One star for the poor souls who have to work with the "manager" Nicolaus! I suspect the turnover rate here is high... Nicolaus was rude, pompous and condescending on two occasions. The first time I was alone and thought what an ass, the second time my husband was with me and I had said nothing and he commented after, What an arrogant jerk!" Didn't matter why we were the deliver of Nicolaus was just horrible customer service with his snide comments and lack of any knowledge of T-mobile online... at least that is what he claimed in order to not have to answer any questions about online service. I was especially was shocked at how he treated his staff!! When Lawrence had a questions instead of being constructive and teaching, he acted irritated that he had to be bothered to answer the questions!!! Won't ever go back there, unless it is to mess with him and walk out the wrong door... LOL read more

Rude sales people. Ruder management. I was prepared to buy an iPhone outright, but walked out after waiting fifteen minutes and spending five minutes with the salespeople. Walked in and was helped by the Fabulous Vanessa. She was helpful and knowledgeable (I needed to upgrade my cell phone). I was extremely happy and impressed with her smooth and flawless customer service skills. Due to the negative bad reviews on Yelp at this location I was hesitant but was appreciative of the customer service I received. Best advice is if you are in a bad mood, in a hurry or impatient stay home (smaller store and shortage of great help) because they offer great customer service and a POSITIVE VIBE. read more

After waiting for 20 minutes for the young man working the counter to finish with a customer, another gentleman walked right in and the young man at the counter told me to wait while he let the gentleman that just came to pay his bill. to say the least I was not very nice, but then again I've never been treated that way before either. The young man his name either being Ricky or Nicky, said well it'll only be a minute he just wants to pay a bill. And I said all I wanted to do was ask a question. if he had spoken to me while I was waiting he would've known that. Worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Went today to help a family member pay her phone and pay off the remaining balance to own it. The store has a sign in the door that says "sprint customers, you're in the right place." Asked to pay the monthly bill, and pay off the phone. As soon as they saw it's a sprint account they said they can't take payment let alone pay off phone. We were referred to contact sprint via phone. If you're a sprint customer and was forced to be part of terrible mobile; don't bother stopping by this store. read more

I am a long-time T-M customer. My plan was for 2 lines though I used only one. I went into this store to buy a phone for the 2nd line. The staff did nothing but retrieve the phone from their back room and ring up the sale. Nevertheless, I was charged $30 for "assisted support"-this after the girl said "do you need help setting it up?" and I said 'no' (that was assuming she had done her job). After getting home I had to call T-M customer service twice so the SIM card could be activated and other issues fixed. I went back to the store to point out I was charged for this "support" when they did nothing. The staff person, a young girl, Eden, was sassy, rude, did not check my account or do anything except tell me I was wrong. Very bad attitude. They also charged an additional $30 for "upgrade support" which I learned is code for how we unsuspecting customers pay commissions to people who do nothing. Just know before you go into this location, you will be ripped off by Exclusive Wireless, the franchisee, and then treated very poorly. read more

Purchased the mobile hotspot hardware they call the jetpack. Prior to purchasing, explained I was pretty sure it would not work at my house and was assured that I could return it. The girl explained if I didn't like it, there would be a fee to return it. She reassured me there would be no fee if it was due to a lack of service. As I suspected, it was barely able to get one bar and kept rebooting itself (I assume due to the poor signal). Returned the next day and was told they would refund the purchase minus a $50 "restocking fee." Mind you, this is a $100 piece of equipment. Needless to say, I was frustrated. First customer service girl was polite but would not budge on this fee. She even texted the girl who sold it to me and she denied saying this. Now I'm getting pissed. Asked to speak to her manager. This lady said the same thing. Why would I purchase a $100 piece of equipment with the strong possibility I would only be able to get half my money back? Obviously I'm not making this up. Finally I asked to speak to HER manager. Initially, the southern manager was also saying the same thing. after being there for over an hour, she finally went to the back to call corporate. A paragraph fortunately, she was finally able to waive this stupid fee. The fact that I had to be in there for over an hour to get my money back, combined with the first girl from the previous day changing her story really pissed me off. In the end, Monique (I believe her name was, the general manager) definitely went above and beyond to fix the issue. For that I think her. T-Mobile tech support representatives are Philipino.  So understanding what they are saying is near impossible because of the language /cultural barrier. Numerous other companies besides T-Mobile have also been hiring difficult to understand foreigners in order to discourage calls to tech support. Legal, but unethical. read more

I got ripped off at this place. I recently was force switched when T mobile merged with Sprint. I have been with Sprint since 1998. T mobile was running a promotion to sign with them get a free tablet, either a cheap Alcatel or a Samsung. Out of stock on Samsung. They manager said take the Alcatel tab and come back when Samsung is back in stock for a switchout. I agreed. A week later I called and still out of stock. Called again a week later still out of stock. Finally just called and then Samsung was in stock. I explained to the manager what I wanted to do. Sorry he says. It is past the 14 days return. .......I can't help you. What? How unprofessional! Bad business! He says read the receipt. I can't help you! Not my fault T mobile was out of stock! So too bad for me! Very very disappointing , we've been with T-Mobile for about two years we went there on Wednesday to help my husband with the locked phone, the representative did help us with my husband phone , thank you. Since we were there we thought to look for the new phone . They needed our IDs my husband said to representative his name is Jessi to help next customer, we have been waiting for half an hour to help us , he was still with a previous customer- not a problem yes? Representative took all information from the previous customer over and over again , then after that he told her that he need to see if he even has that phone in a store ...this has happened twice!!!! he came back and said he doesn't have it in the store ! Since it was were there for over 1/2 hour, we told them we come next day on Thursday , we came at 10:15 just after they open we've asked if they can help us to choose the new iPhone 13 , it was very difficult to get any information or advice from representative ( I think his name Jessi or like that) it looked like he didn't want to sell us a phone or maybe we didn't looked good enough for him... we asked for an advice/ option what he thinks - no response or rather blank face . We moved to the front desk to finish transaction to look at the plans since we want to exchange our phones for new phones after about 15 minutes or so my husband ask Jessi can you have a look if you even have the phones we are interested in ( IPhone 13 pro!!!) the representative snap with at husband and said let me do my job I know what I'm doing and my husband said with all respect can you be so kind and check if you have the phones because we do not one that will happen what happened yesterday while we're waiting for over half an hour he just stormed out of the shop to the back and said if you choose to be rude - my husband was never rude ! then Jessi said : I don't even know if you can even buy this phones ......well that's extremely disrespectful to anyone!!! we came to the store to spend over $2000 and we were disrespected by some young kid without any manners and big luck of customer service, he said to his coworker Richard : I'm not going to help these people , you do! Than Richard stormed out of the store as well to the back . We were left without any help at all!!! we said we will go back to T-Mobile and purchase the phones on Friday as long as we get an apology from Jess but we never got a call , looks like T-Mobile does not care about the customer especially Placerville location this is not the first time they treat us like we are below there level , this is not acceptable in any customer service no matter what if you wanna be disrespected I advise you to go to T-Mobile in Placerville very very horrible, rude, disrespectful customer sales people Why is customer service so bad nowadays! Wanted to give kudos to Raul who helped me last night. I live in a very rural area with limited cell service, let alone options for actual home internet. I had preordered a new iPhone 12 Pro Max to upgrade my iPhone X... and it was delivered a few days early. To my despair, I couldn't get into the Apple store any time soon to have them help me set it up. I called down to the TMobile store and they understood my predicament with limited internet and let me know they could help if I came in the store. Awesome! When I got to the store, Raul greeted me and offered assistance right away. I explained my predicament and what I needed and he was eager to assist with the Data Transfer and mirroring my new phone to my old phone. Having 30k photos and 8k songs etc meant this process took about 40 minutes. No worries to Raul, he continued to help me, answer questions, make small talk, suggest other items, showed me things I might need- and I even gave him a break to let him continue his paperwork so I didn't slow him down. Throughout it all he was courteous, polite, helpful and professional. I was so ecstatic to be able to use my new phone that night - otherwise with my limited home internet... it may have taken DAYS to transfer all of that info. Wow! I'm truly impressed. I wanted to give a rave to T-Mobile in Placerville. We went in last weekend to see about switching from Verizon. They were the most amazing, kind, funny, and helpful employees we've ever dealt with. The main guy who helped us, was down here from Paradise. His store has damage but was still standing. He explained everything. Every detail about the plan, our savings, how Netflix is on them, everything was perfectly clear. All of the employees were so helpful!! We came from Verizon with hardly any data and a high bill to unlimited data and saving nearly $100/month. We get free WiFi calling, so no need for the Ooma that we had and signal out and about is nearly the same as Verizon. I'd call this a WIN-WIN-WIN-WIIIIIIIIN!! read more

Buyer beware... I went into a t-mobile to get my phone fixed, They are friendly and fixed my phone with out much problem. The problem comes in when they sold me a new phone. 800 dollars with a 600 dollar credit. I WAS TOLD that the credit of 600 dollar would show up in my next billing . They FAILED to tell me that it would come back in increments over a period of 30 MONTHS. I recieved the bill buy no CREDIT. I returned to the store and was told that I just did not understand and that they NEVER give back the 600 dollar credit in one lump sum. Misleading to say for sure. So now we are tied into T-Mobile for 30 months. Sounds like they got themselves a good deal NOT FOR ME I forgot to add, I also called the store and asked to have the district manager give me a call. I was told he was too busy for this , I simply repeated my request. HE TOOK MY #, now lets see how long it takes for the district manager to call. read more

T-Mobile in and around Coloma/Lotus Ca is pretty bad. Yes, they have coverage, the data is slow, even if you pay the additional $15.00 a month for 4G. Verizon is much better. read more

I have had such a bad experience with this place that I wish I never left AT&T. Me and my wife came into the store a couple of months ago to shop around for new phones because I was unhappy with how I was being treated with AT&T. We were greeted by a young gentleman "B"( I'll use this for the sake of not dropping any names). He was a fast talker and appeared to know what he was talking about, just like most sales people I know. We ended up signing a contract and getting two new phones because they were running a promotion of buy one get one free. We also took home some new gadgets because we were told that they were free with the promotion. It turned out that we did not qualify for the promotion because we were never told about having it to turn in an old device. I spoke with the manager and he told me that their corporate office was not going to honor the promotion. We were completely deceived and lied to about everything that we bought, now I am stuck in a contract with two new phones that I don't really want.
