    After experiencing some intermittent interruptions in our internet service I did some troubling…read moreshooting to isolate the problem prior to contacting Spectrum our internet provider since I own the router. The results showed it was the cable modem which provides connectivity to the router so I contacted Spectrum and was given the choice to schedule a cable technician or swap out the equipment myself at this location. Upon arriving here I read the Covid-19 protocol posted on the door prior to entering, the store appeared very clean with social distancing measure in place on the floor and a hand sanitizing station just inside the door. There is an electronic sign in tablet which I noticed the couple that entered in front of me ignored - I read the instructions and checked in noting the purpose of my visit. Although there were a number of customer hanging out that arrived ahead of my name was called just a moments after checking in using the tablet. I walked to the counter with my old cable modem in hand and the was only asked that the reason for my visit today was to exchange equipment - I nodded yes and the process began after he checked my ID after a few scans with the barcode reader we made the exchange and I was on my way. Yes it was simple and a pleasant experience - note to file: you must have a new modem activated by the service provider after making the connections when returning home. The new modem contained no instructions and the guy waiting on me never explained this so I'm deducting one star, this could cause a little heartburn to a novice...

Anthony told me to return the equipment to a Spectrum store and was kind enough to give me the closest location which was this store. The next day I received an email saying to return my equipment to a Spectrum store. Received an email as well to Return it to the spectrum store. Several texts too saying return equipment to a Spectrum store. So that's what I did. So on October 20, I went to your store. The agent that took my equipment said he couldn't give me a receipt for the return Because my service was canceled. He said I had to return it to a UPS store. I said no, I'm going do like Anthony, the emails and the texts told me. So what I did was, I took pictures Of the equipment Sitting on the counter with proof that I returned the equipment. I was not going to go out of my way to a UPS store plus I was instructed GO TO A SPECTRUM STORE TO RETURN YOUR EQUIPMENT . I am reading other others saying they encountered the same problem. Ok, so how about this Spectrum store contact corporate headquarters and tell them to instruct the person you talk to over the phone with when you want to cancel your service to return it to a UPS store. In addition how about not sending emails and texts to return it to a Spectrum store!!!! Solves the problem. Oh and by the way just received more emails on October 23 and 24 Reminding me to send my equipment to a Spectrum store. Come on guys simple fix for future reference:SAY, TEXT, EMAIL RETURN TO UPS this will help others too.

Ok ok so anyway I called around & either the price was over $100 or just seemed shady. After being referred by friends,getting an $85 quote by phone I crossed my fingers that I wouldn't get ripped off,my main frame hacked into,identity stolen and my precious photos sold on the black market to creepies across the world! To my surprise it was fantastic! To the point,friendly,knowledgeable,fast & most importantly fair. There's a 90day warranty on screens & batteries that I know of for sure but I believe it's all parts/services(double check).If they aren't super busy he can get it done while you wait but don't expect it. Avg wait time otherwise is about an hour & if you have an old version of the same phone,charge it and take out the sim & well...USE IT! If you don't then be thankful to be free of it for an hour because it's extremely sad how attached we are to our devices(yes me too)! I hope this helps & as of this review I've smashed my screen again because you guessed it ...I was way too cool for a case but hey at least I had a screen protector on that didn't help other then not allowing my screen to completely fall apart into glass dust. Printed on the receipt…read more"All returns have a 25% restocking fee 14 day return policy, for all purchases, backed by a 90 day warranty..." the complete terms and conditions of the "Repair Policy" are not fully printed on the receipt and not provided to the customer. My daughter had the cracked screen of her iPhone replaced at this shop on April 20th. About a week ago, she placed her phone on the counter for the night to charge, still in the OtterBox defender case. No one used or touched it. The next morning we noticed a hairline crack in the screen. Due to busy schedules and all of the panic happening lately, she was unable to immediately take it back and the crack seemed to worsen. When she took it back today, she was told by the owner's brother, that she did not meet the "conditions of the warranty" because there were "no pieces or chunks of glass missing" yet the conditions of the warranty were never specified, as to what was and was not included. How convenient that she did not meet these unstated "conditions." In addition, the receipt states that the purchaser agrees "to the terms and conditions of Smart Cell Repair, LLC Manufacturer Warranty" of which were also never provided. I guess this is the loophole they utilize in order to appear to be an ethical business and warranty their repairs and materials. When that is not the case. In actuality, they are more than happy to correct the problem, as long as you are willing to hand over more cash.
