On May 4th I went to the AT&T store on Redlands Blvd. I was paying too much money per month at Verizon. I brought my phone with me and the Rep who helped me was very helpful. Her name was Evelyn and she was a real pro. She explained the breakdown of the charges and fees right away. Later on that day I brought in my tablet but had a little problem with a Sim card. worst experience I've ever had. I didn't get his name.. great start to an interaction... but he had gray hair and looked like a wannabe Pauly d. I went in because I just purchased a new iPhone 17 pro max at another location but my phone had died and it would not turn on or even show that it was charging. So after 5 mins of it being on the charger I decided to bring it in. When I got there he asked me where I got it. I said another AT&T store. He said well do you have the receipt so he could see where I got it. I said no i don't have the receipt can't you just look it up in your system under my account... to me that was common sense since he was giving me a hard time with where I got it from. Next he plugs it in also noticing it was not showing charging cause he kept plugging and unplugging it. After minutes of it being plugged in it's still not Turing on. So he grabs a charger that you can set the phone on. Again it take minutes for it to finally turn on. Very odd for a brand new phone. I had a 14 before this and it would turn on within a minute. He kept asking that when I had charged it would I see the lighting bolt cause that means it was actually charging... well duh I saw that...it's not rocket Science to know when I phone is charging or not. I've had iPhones basically my entire phone career. Literally talking to me like I was dumb. Then he said it probably didn't turn on cause it still needed to update or be fully setup.... Well that's weird when I got the phone yesterday around 10 am and it was now 3:30pm the next day...so wanted to see if it was taking a charge and actually charging. Had the audacity to tell me my usage of TikTok and that TikTok takes a lot of battery. sir I came In cause my phone wasn't Turing on...my phone wasn't turning on what does TikTok and me being on it when it's actually on have to do with my issue...so I told him well I'm going to let it die again to see if I have this problem. he was like nooooo basically saying it will happen again... he kept telling me I was wrong not listening and that he keeps getting interrupted. He was getting interrupted because he was trying to tell me how to charge a phone...and wasn't dealing with my actual issue which was that my phone takes very long to turn back on or show that its charging... so whoever is the manager really needs to let him go because I will never step foot in that store again. Went in with question and was assisted by Daniel. My mom purchased a phone I had never heard of and could not figure a few things out including why it had two phone numbers. Daniel was very helpful in explaining the phone, it's features (or really lack thereof, I do NOT recommend the Samsung Galaxy A6 unless you just need a beginner and cheap smart phone). I came into the Redlands store to return a phone I had just purchased, after already speaking to someone over the phone beforehand. When I walked in, not a single customer service representative greeted me or asked if I needed help. There were about six employees present, and I had to approach them myself. I explained that I needed to return the phone and had already spoken to someone. One employee came closer and mentioned a restocking fee. I responded that I was already aware. Then another employee named Al joined in, and two others started laughing. When I asked what was funny, Al told me, "First of all, you need to calm down and come back when you're in a better attitude." I asked if they were going to help me, and he said I should leave and come back another time if I couldn't be more respectful. Let me be clear -- at no point was I threatening or aggressive. Al, you raised your voice at a customer who was simply asking for help. That is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. No customer should be spoken to like that, especially when they are not being rude or hostile. I wouldn't even give this store one star if I had the choice. Terrible customer service. However, since starting the transition on February 17, 2025, I have faced continuous challenges, including repeated technical issues, poor customer support, and confusing billing practices. Below is a timeline of the major issues I have encountered: - **February 17, 2025**: Transition to AT&T business services began. I was informed that there would be a deposit held until two months of successful payments were made, after which the $1500 deposit would be refunded. - **February 27, 2025**: I spent over an hour troubleshooting internet issues with technical support, which led to the discovery that a guest line needed to be established to resolve connectivity problems. - **March 1, 2025**: I spent 32 minutes discussing dropped calls with a representative. - **March 3, 2025**: Another hour and 18 minutes on the phone with support to troubleshoot further internet issues at our business address. - **March 17, 2025**: We determined that the router was faulty, and a replacement was promised. We were pleased to find that this was a corporate location and they were able to help us. My daughter has been having issues with her phone since APRIL. No one at other locations could help us and kept telling her that it was her phone, Apple told her it was the service. Between calling and going to AT&T and Apple, hours and gas were wasted. Walked in on Sunday March 13 around 6:05pm. Was greeted immediately, place was empty, and helped out by a gentleman. He took us over to a table (wife, son and I). Asked what we where looking to do. Explained, upgrade our iPhones. Told the guy, I saw a promotion for iPhone 12 for $10.00 a month. He said yeah we can do that, but in order for you to get the promotion I have to change your current plan. I explained my plan was grandfathered, and did not want to change it. I also explained to him I read the offer and terms, and it said as long as I was on an unlimited plan I can get offer. He said "oh no, online and stores are completely different." Explained to him, that's weird because it said online, or store. He said oh well I can't do it. I asked him, " so you can't help me get new phones?" He's stated no, and said have a good day. I went to Best Buy down the street, easiest upgrade I have ever done. Since they are not commission based, it took me 15 min to do an upgrade. Redlands Bl STE A, Redlands, CA 92373. Just purchased the new iPhone Mini on launch day through Apple. Per the trade-in instructions I made an appointment through the AT&T app to drop off my old iPhone XS Max for trade-in/credit at the Redlands location. Arrived for my 10am appointment and was greeted by an associate. I advised her that I had an appointment and that I recently upgraded and would like to trade-in my iPhone for credit. She tells me that I need to go through Apple since I bought it from them and that she can't help me. I explain to her that it tells you to trade-it in for store credit at any AT&T store. She then tells me to contact them to have them send me a box to send it in. She agains tells me she can't help me and to take it to Apple. I ask to speak to a manager. She then tells me that if I was nicer that maybe I would get helped... ???WTH??? Seriously? She never once offered to help... mind blown... but I digress. She then returns and says, "Well let me see what I can do but I don't think we can do it here." I ask if she can have the manager please come out so that I may speak to him. She quickly replies that he is in a meeting and can't be disturbed. I insist and she goes back to speak to him. The lone security guard goes back there with her. Then he returns and tells me that I have to leave the store. Another associate comes out with them as well. I explain to him that I asked her for a manager. He then tells me he is the manager. His name badge George did say manager. I explain to him what happened; then I ask him why they are not trained on how to handle the trade in program that the company is currently promoting. He then tells me that they are trained. At no time does he even attempt to diffuse the situation or even really show any form of customer service skills or work ethic. I would never recommend that location to anyone. I have never felt more unwelcome in a place before. I have been with AT&T since before the iPhone first debuted. Through all the upgrades since then never had I had an issue with AT&T stores customer service.  I ended up finding a newer store that opened closer to me. I walked right in and they helped me right away. They knew exactly what I was talking about and how to process it. I see why they have only two stars. They offer you false advertising by offering you a high amount on your trade in and then they do not hold up to that at all. They actually told me that they would not give me anything for my trade in. I had my phone for many years and had a small blemish in an upper corner ( which they can replace that entire front screen for a minimal amount...I've done it) it was in excellent condition for having it that long. Went in to switch over from a different company. Luckily they had the phone we wanted, but when we got our new bill, they had added insurance without our knowledge. We were never asked or told about it in the store, otherwise we would have declined. Thankfully we caught it early, but it was done without our knowledge or consent, and without them even mentioning it. This is shady business practice, so check your bills for any added fees they put on there without telling you. They get compensation for adding insurance, so I'm not surprised they do this to people without letting them know so they aren't able to refuse. read more

Absolutely stellar! The staff here knows how to treat customers! My personal experience was amazing here's my story: I walked in with an issue on my phone and had some billing questions. I was greeted with a warm tone and a friendly staff. I proceeded to tell them what issue I was having and they were more than happy to help me. The issue of my phone was resolved quickly and easily without any problems. What's great about the store is that they have some technicians that help repair and fix your phones so I highly recommend adding insurance so when you ever have a phone problem broken screen this is the store to come bring your phone. I also had a billing question and they were able to review my account to make sure that I had the best plan that fit my needs. One thing I could say is that THANK YOU! I came in the store because after 20 years with Sprint they switched to T-Mobile and my phone no longer works at home. I am on oxygen because I had severe Covid so I can't be home without a phone. when I came in the store they were super busy but they saw me on oxygen so they had me sit down right away. Robert R was extremely helpful. I had to call Sprint and T-Mobile to get my phone unlocked and that took forever and he was so patient and helped me with what they were needing and looking for. It was so hectic with Sprint and T-Mobile and they were unable to take care of what I needed so I just paid for a brand new phone and got service from AT&T and my phone works perfectly at home I am so happy I should've done this years ago. The person who helped me was great, other than that the store was a mess. They had nothing out on display. They may had about 10 Phone max. As I entered I was greeted, I was informed that I would be helped in a bit. I waited about 10 minutes for my sales rep. I've had not so great experience with ATT overall but I've had them forever so I stay. I gave a one star review simply because there wasn't really anything out on display. I understand people still, I think a multi billion dollar company would have the top of the line security system in place.
