I had a very bad experience here. One that was so bad I had to write to Office of The President in Indiana. Short story is that "Store's Failure to disclose some vital information affected my decision to purchase something that I did not need and THIS IS FUNDAMENTALLY VERY VERY BAD." I went there to purchase 2 Iphones for my folks. That was the intention of visit: purchasing iPhones and adding them to my atnt plan. However, while purchasing, they offered me a promotion which gets you 2 Ipads at a better price. They However, selectively disclosed some information while not disclosing some other information. I was charged 45$ activation fee on each IPad (90$ total) on my next bill which I was not at all informed about. They told me there is an activation fee of 25$ for each Iphone which I perfectly understood, but not only they did not mention that the activation fee for IPADs are much more (45$) they did not mention it at all. So it was super misleading to selectively share some info while keeping some other info. Its bad bad practice. My intention was to buy iPhones and not iPads and yet I left with 2 extra things that I did not originally went there for and with eventual price that I did not know and did not agree to. This is very bad and untrustworthy customer management. When you disclose information, you have to disclose everything. Had I known about the extra charge, I would not have bought the iPads. I had been to this store a few years ago and actually walked out because of the rude service. Due to the shutdown of Reno this is the only store with display models available for review. As I was debating between two different models I had no choice but to use this store. Am I glad I did! I was in the store very quickly even with the one customer per rep rule. My rep, Allen A., was VERY helpful, informative and knowledgeable. The manager on duty, Rob, was also great. You got this one right AT&T! Promote those two! I have never had so many issues trying to pay a bill in my life!! App doesn't work, can't sign into bill as the password won't work, can't get balance over phone as you have to sign in, email was changed by them! After complaining a longtime I removed all 7 lines in December. I have now had to call 5 more times and cancel each time, they don't have record of it cancelling!! I asked for recording of our calls, those don't seem to be there. Bill was zero Mar7 after my last argument with them, NOW today I get a bill for $260! I had a hankering for a new phone after a year of my iPhone 4s. 25 minutes and $67 later I walked out of the store with an iPhone 5s. Sales associate Anthony provided excellent service from the moment he opened the store door for me when I arrived to his closing words as I left with my purchase. I was impressed that I did not have to wait for service on a Saturday afternoon and that I was not pressured to spend more money than the amount I told him that I wished to spend. I share a phone plan with two family members, and Anthony communicated clearly what would and would not change about our shared bill as a result of my buying a new phone (that was the $67 part--the tax for my iPhone 5s). read more

What a difference between the last time I used this store and had to wait at least 20 to 30 minutes to get customer service! When I approached the store, the doors were opened for me by sales clerks who immediately asked what they could do to help me even though the store had many other customers receiving help. (Though I suspect that they may be on commission and I wasn't buying anything today, they cheerfully helped me with my problem). The sales clerks were knowledgeable and helpful and I was out the door, satisfied, within 30 minutes. In the Costco shopping center off Plumb lane. Ample parking nearby the storefront is available. Two weeks after I got my new phone with the insurance that I had paid for, I had trouble with my new phone which I got in the mail. Romel met me at the door ready to help me. He quickly diagnosed that I'd forgotten to take off the clear protective layer. Unfortunately, that didn't mean a sale by Romel, but he was still very helpful. read more

I was upset with the current price hikes and service recently with AT&T wireless. I went into the store and spoke with Shah. He was extremely knowledgable about products and service. Shah never made me feel as if I wasn't worth his time and explained a service plan that was cost effective and had all the things I was looking for. This place is not big on customer service or speed. Purchased an AT&T microcell from this store because apparently they are the only AT&T store in town that carries them. The first time we went in things were marginally ok, although a 200 year old person could have rung us up faster than the sales woman here did. Unfortunately the first device we brought here was defective, which isn't the store's fault, so after spending hours with tech support, they instructed me to exchange the device as the only option left was a faulty product. My wife went in to exchange it and the sales woman immediately put up barriers. Even though she explained up front that tech support directed us to exchange the product after hours working on it, the sales woman insisted on rattling off everything she figured we'd forgotten. After she finally gave in and swapped the product for a new one we came home and, lo and behold, it works. The only operator error going on here was the customer service at this shop. read more

Can't believe this. My husband went into the store to get a replacement remote that stopped working. Was told my the employees they do not have the replacement in stock, and don't always have the parts. One employee said you can find a technician truck and they can replace it. That's funny, because they're recommendation is to try and track down a truck to replace a part. The other employee said he could call 611 and have technician come to the house. He couldn't believe the attitude of the employee who could recommend to try and find a truck! That's ridiculous ! And he wanted to argue about that point. My husband tried to explain how difficult it would be to find a truck and tell them how does he do that wait outside the house for a truck to drive by. One of the employees said "I didnt say that". How else is that to be received as a customer? He needs training in how to talk to customers. He even sounded angry when he said it! I have to say I would have complained to his boss. Visit this store where the manager cares about the customers! The manager Rob went out of his way to care for my elderly father during our Covid time. He genuinely cared about my fathers well being and assisted with a return for him, then offered solutions to a problem my dad had, from start to finish with a follow up call! Very impressed! Other stores I called didn't pick up their phones when I called but this store did each time. We went to this AT&T store on Saturday morning right when they opened. I wanted to move back from Sprint and upgrade my Samsung Galaxy 8 to the Samsung Note 10+-5G. My husband was already with AT&T and wanted to upgrade his iPhone 7 to an iPhone 10R. We were assisted by Logan Adams as well as by his boss, Rob Ziga. They both provided excellent customer service. We had an accident with my husband's phone while on vacation so we stopped of here on a whim, despite the horrible reviews. I sent my husband in while I parked a car. He told the sales woman he needed a new phone so she immediately showed him the iPhone 13 and failed to even offer or show the iPhone 12 which is almost the same phone, but half off. SHADY. Upon entering the I saw that we was ringing him up for an iPhone 13 and asked about the iPhone 12. Long story short, we left without a purchase because she did not sell us what we wanted but kept trying to upsell him even tho we know exactly what we wanted. As a sales former AT&T employee, your manager should really give you some coaching on everything you did wrong and how you loss a sale lady. Sales people like you are the reason more and physical stores are closing. This was an easy sale had you just handled what the customer wanted, we were literally physically in store - we didn't even try to ask for anything for free. We plan on calling customer service on Monday and ordering from online. Way to loose a sale for your store. I would give zero star if I could. Went to AT&T today desperately wanting to switch from Sprint and was promptly helped by Dylan and let me just say right away I knew I was in capable hands!! He was extremely kind and knowledgeable and was able to get me switched to them and done with Sprint in no time at all. SCAMMED!!!! Disappointed for the stupid Iphone 7 credit promotion back in September: Went in with 3 paid off Iphones (one Iphone 6s, and two Iphone 6 Pluses). Spoke to representative saying promotion can apply per line so they would credit 650 per iPhone we trade in and if we acquire a plus we only pay difference. Checked with AT&T customer service just in case and all checked out until you sign the paperwork. Getting the bill they now show only 170 credited to each line and are charging us more than expected and when questioned, oh you didn't sign anything in writing about our special offer. So basically I traded 3 paid off iPhones for a scammed version and bound to 30 month contract. I fell for it, hope you don't. read more

The service here is outstanding! You can tell because there is sometimes a bit of a wait. The sales associates make sure all their customers questions are answered and are well taken care of. I recently bought an iPhone 4 here and Gerry the salesperson was so helpful and even set up my email and facebook accounts on it for me. I wish I I could give something worse than one star. This is the third time I've been treated terribly in the store. This time I went in and I thought I'm just gonna be relaxed and work with them anyway I could. I bought a cord for my iPhone out of the AT&T store in legends. It stopped working after 10 months. I returned it to the store over by Costco as I was going by there. The lady that waited on me was very rude and basically called me a liar and a thief. For some reason they cannot find the receipt in my account. I even had the AT&T receipt with me they still couldn't find it. Further they told me that I was trying to like take a vantage of them because the cord was pink in the box said it was white. I only had one AT&T card and it came out of this box so someone had to switch it before I bought it. I will never ever ever go back to this AT&T store again. And I encourage you not to. I went in her to buy two iPhone 12 maxes and got such terrible customer service that I ended up buying from Costco.Good luck if you use them. read more

Att called me after a BBB complaint regarding this and no questions asked took care of everything. They were very apologetic and went out of their way to take care of me. I am still dissapointed it took a BBB complaint to get treated fairly. Also when I was in the store and they were taking care of me, the man at the table next to us was treated very poorly by the att rep and was even told to go to another store to complain about it. Not a big fan of the Lifeproof iphone case after owning one for 3 months and it has already broken. Even less of a fan of being lied to at the register where I was told that if I had any problem within two years I would receive a new case, even in the event of scratching of the front window... Well, re-contacting the ATT store at this location revealed the truth: there is a 30 day in house warranty and then you can deal with Lifeproof directly for up to a year... good luck with that! Just be careful to question what you may be told during a sales pitch at this location. read more

AWFUL experience. Went in with my husband and 2 kids on the evening of 12/23 to reactivate a canceled line.When we walked in there were 3 sales reps, all helping other customers. So we stood by the middle counter, looking at phones, knowing that the reps were all busy. YET NO ONE ACKNOWLEDGED OUR PRESENCE, NO ONE SAID "WE WILL BE WITH YOU" ... NOTHING. Nothing for about 20 minutes until a "manager" walked out from the back and took my husband's name and told us that someone will be with us shortly. HE DIDN'T OFFER TO HELP AT ALL. And so we waited for another 15 minutes, then we left. MOST AWFUL EXPERIENCE EVER AT AN AT&T STORE EVER. My family and I left, went to WALMART and reactivated the line and got a phone for $100 cheaper than at the AT&T store. So while it all worked out for the better, I just had to do a review of the ABSOLUTELY AWFUL EXPERIENCE I've ever had at this store. I wish I could cancel my service with AT&T altogether, but that's not an option at this time. Too bad they closed the store on Rock because I NEVER WANT TO RETURN TO THIS STORE AGAIN. JERKS. 2 or 3 ppl at the plumb store are awesome. I canr remember the hispanic guu name but it might be oscar older about 35 well hes awesome! At&t in general are dinosaurs compared to verizon. Live in downtown reno and i have to scavenge for wifi cause my signals horrid! With verizon i could be in a bunker in iraq and still have full bars. Btw at&t your computer prompts dont acknowledge when someone presses numbers to actually talk to someone so I tend to have to drive to your stores to talk to someone. Thank the lord for oscar! Is it me or does it seem like at&t always stacks another months charges every month....one minute your balance is zero and the next minute you refresh your page and owe more money then your plan even calls for! There should be a minus catagory for this store. First of all I've never had a more troublesome phone than my latest iphone. Pops up apps when it's sitting on my desk, the stop watch activates for no reason, the sound function works in the test mode but not on incoming calls. I could go on but won't. I did however go to the at&t store to get my problems addressed. A manager first approached me and asked if he could help. When I told him what was happening with my phone he asked if I knew how to 'soft boot' it. I answered affirmitively. He said it was probably defective and told me to go to the Apple store at Sierra Summit, they might replace your phone. He said there was nothing he could do for me. I told him I didn't buy it at Sierra Summit, bought it right here. Nothing he could do. Go out there. I told him of my frustration and he basically said too bad, not my problem. When I asked about my plan and what was remaining he excused himself long enough to send one of his subordinates out to 'deal with me'. I am an SBC/AT&T retiree and can tell you for sure his behavior, demeanor and dialogue is contrary to any customer service attributes we were held accountable for 'back in the day'. I suppose that's why we were AT&T and now at&t. It's not the first time this store has taken the 'it's not my problem' posture but it will be the last time for me. I will go out to Sierra Summit to have this issue addressed. I'm sure they will take care of the problem professionally and expeditiously and without the 'it's not my problem' attitude. The customer service at the Apple store is amazing, it's just not convenient for me. But this is a lesson learned, when you want a problem resolved, deal with the pros and that translates to, always avoid little a little t & lilttle t, This at&t store management is the worst I've ever EVER experienced. read more
