It's unfortuanate for so many bad reviews. I've been to the store now 2 times in last month and have nothing but great customer service. The first was to get a new phone because my old phone's motherboard literally fried. Martin, one of the associates, was more than patient and helpful for getting me a new phone. The second visit was an issue I had with billing. Jason and Will were beyond professional with helping me out with my issues I was having. They not only resolved my issue, they also updated me on promotions I was eligible for. Thank you again for all your help. Worst experience ever...when I left there were 3 other customers that did not get the help they needed. First of all the appointment process does not work. The manager could not help me and didn't seem to care that this was my 3rd trip in trying to do my trade-ins. I have been coming to this location since they opened. I cannot believe how poor the customer service has gotten. I will never return. And when I asked for the name of the GM, because my guess is that the workers onsite do not have much power, she actually looked at me and said oh only HR is above me???? My wife has AT&T and is having issues with her IPhone that she bought from this store. Upon arriving at 11:25 am, we checked in and noticed two associates were working with other customers and we were eleven in line. No greeting, no acknowledgment from these two associates who have been working with the same customers for the last hour. The service here is the worst ever. Just a moment ago, a third associate emerged from the back and called out several names none of which were present. He then called a name of someone who was present and is now working with that person. I along with others have noticed much of what the two associates have been doing with the hour long customers is more social than business related and conversing about everything other than the business of AT&T. Beyond frustrating! There should be more associates working the floor, or quicker problem resolution. Customers should not have to wait hours for service. Just walking into the store and seeing the workers' faces makes you want to leave. They don't want to work.

After spending an hour on the phone with At&t loyalty we decided going into this store to get an iPhone Pro Max 1TB or 2TB, and a iPhone Air 1TB would be the best move. Since inventory was low I could not select pick up in store. So the rep called the store more the 4x's, each time unable to get through. They advised I try, so I called 3x's each time the person picked up they immediately hung up. I was told this was because it shows they are answering the phone and can say "I couldn't hear the other side." And it keeps the stores #'s good, I was simply calling to verify they at least had one of the phones before driving to pick them up. Granted they could have been sold by the time I got there, but at least I would have been able to make a decent decision. This isn't the first time I've had this type of service, I even had a manager or lead as my how much I paid for a vehicle, my monthly payment, how much I had to put down, as well as the price of my watch. Granted, not that big of a deal, but everything combined and of the 5-6 times I've been to, called or dealt with this store it's been less than OK. I just sent John Stankey, from ATT Corp office and long time family friend a text telling him, "after personally having cell service from age 12 (1992-2019) and again 2021-Present, I was reminded why we left in 2019 after 25+ years of continuous cell service I think it's time to try Verizon..." It's the local customer service availability, with my 327employees, and my personal accounts we reasonably quick, and consistent service. Mind you this timeline doesn't include the years of other ATT services, only wireless (I'm a 5th gen ATT customer), and 3rd gen marketing partners since my grandpa started in the 1970's at the Salt Palace in SLC Utah." Our cell service is mediocre in our Roseville, CA home, using newer iPhone and WiFi enhanced calling, 1/2 the time people can't hear us, but Verizon phones have no issues. The fact when you go to this store w/out an appt you're treated like a pariah unless you immediately say "I'm buying today." And when you have an appointment it's usually behind schedule by 20-45min, so what's the point, I don't believe it's being too busy, I believe it's a culture at some stores, I have family and friends that say their store is amazing and very kind. I put it to the test in Utah, purchased an iPad for my kid, smooth as butter and incredibly welcoming and KIND. I'm not angry, just disappointed that it's a source of anxiety, frustration, and excessive time suck every time we have to do anything at the local ATT store. read more

Got to store 15 min before they open to purchase a charging cord. Paper sign on door said they were closed until noon (hours are 10:00 am). Came back at 11:45 and open for business. One of 2 employees told me he couldn't help me because he doesn't work this store. Other employee would not take 2 minutes to cash me out. Made me wait until she was done with customer. I waited a ridiculous length if time and finally gave up. Very poorly run store and employees are fed up with lack of help!!! read more

If you want to wait an obscene amount of time to literally get anything. Go here! You will love it! You wait so long that it wastes your entire afternoon/day! On top of that employees purposely taking their breaks with an hour left to spare with 4+ people waiting. The employee that helped me originally "JJ" was good. However one was having conversations about his "favorite music playlist" and playing the song in the store, while an elderly couple with one in a wheelchair has been waiting for 40+ minutes like me. I rarely write reviews, but today's interaction with Zelli absolutely deserves one. We went to the Apple Store today due to my iPhone 16+ not turning on, at all. Apple said it was a hardware issue but their only suggestion was to buy a new iPhone. I could not have been less impressed with Apple. We came to this Apple location to see about upgrading my phone. THANK GOD Zelli was the person who helped us. Seriously the complete opposite of our experience with the Apple Store. Zelli went above and beyond to help us try to troubleshoot the phone. She talked to coworkers to see if they had any ideas of what was causing the issue. She went over our options. She was incredibly kind and patient throughout the entire interaction. Ultimately, I ended up getting an iPhone 17 Pro Max. She helped us get everything sorted out, was very upfront about what to expect as far as future bills, etc. Thank you, AT&T for having her as an employee. You did it right when you hired her. Now this is truly ironic. After a bad experience, ATT emailed me asking for my review on their internal reporting site. Since my honesty was viewed as "inappropriate" here is the unvarnished truth.. Horrible experience with prepaid, as the local store couldn't support the service. So I went home and ordered it online, had to wait several days, and could not get the transfer of my old number initiated on my own, so had to go into the store a second time, and all they could do was wait on hold for me and try to get it going. By the time the transfer attempt actually happened, my old account had disconnected. I never ended up getting the eSim to work, and just gave up and went to another provider. AT&T needs to integrate Prepaid with regular customer service otherwise you will get what you pay for! AVOID. read more

First off my first wife and I live in the Elk Grove area but decided to visit the Roseville A&T store to get new Iphone 15 Pro Max phones and switch from Xfinity Mobile to At&t. Right when we walked into the door we were greeted and helped right away by Leo. Leo was a big help and walked us through everything and even explained hidden charges we might see on the bill. He even gave us his personal number if we had any problems. My wife and I highly recommend the Roseville store off of Galleria blvd. Ask for Leo. read more

I DO understand that there are new rules, but the fact that there are TWO employees working is unacceptable. I have only seen four people leave after speaking to a representative. I got here at 3:30pm & they said the wait time would be an hour. It is now 5:30pm, and I have yet to be called. The employees do not seem to have an eagerness to work quickly or a desire to get things done as quickly as possible. They are slow & have an incredible lack of sense of urgency. I appreciate the adherence to the new guidelines, but there HAS to be a better way to do this, two employees for a TWO HOUR wait time is unacceptable. read more

my favorite AT&T location... Although the wait are long sometimes because of the amount of customers in the store at times, which I can understand, I always get good service when it's my turn. They are well staffed and most of the time there's always one to three reps by the door waiting to help customers. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable customer service is what I get here each time. Last week I was the last customer to get out of the store because of an upgrade and change in service plans and it was well past closing time. Employees were already putting the phones away, cleaning up and vacuuming the place but the service did not go down and I wasn't rushed in making decision and she took her time helping me and answering all my questions. Purchased all my phones and upgrades here and I've also gone in the store to make payments on their kiosk. Conveniently located across the Galleria and next to Arigato Sushi and by Olive Garden area. These People are Liars and they will tell you what ever you want to hear to get/keep your business. We had gone to Verizon and checked out their plans, but we wanted to be fair and see if AT&T would be able to meet or beat Verizon's price. Low and behold AT&T was able to come back with a lower price, $145 including everything phones, taxes everything including they even sent me a quote showing $145 total price. We got our first bill and our monthly payment is $214 and now we are stuck for 2 years, don't get fooled by them go anywhere else. read more

I have to admit, arriving at this location i was expecting the worst based on previous customer service reviews. Came in to upgrade my phone to the iPhone 11pro. Walked up to the door and due to new COVID 19 protocol they only allowed one guest per AT&T rep in at a time. I was able to be paired with Mike right away. He greeted me and walked me over to a table. I explained what i needed and Mike immediately had some options. He even made some other suggestions like tv service but when I declined he didn't push it. Answered my questions and offered promotions that were applicable. Although I had to have a phone shipped (next day) I left feeling very satisfied and Mike did an excellent job! I will return and I hope to be able to work with Mike again. Thanks! read more

BEWARE of their crooked contracts. We signed up for Firstnet for the first responder promotion and Isaac (I believe is his name) manipulated us on a "free" Apple Watch. Comes our bill and it was not free. We ended up paying for $25 service plus paying the Apple Watch off. We feel lied to and he left essential information out to make the deal sound so enticing. I came into the store frantic with less than 10 minutes before closing after losing my phone in the local lake. I had already been to the nearby Apple Store looking for help on a replacement which they were unable to accommodate so I rushed in to AT&T. I was greeted by Cameron who immediately went to work. I told him what I needed and advised him that my credit card company had flagged by purchase at the Apple Store for fraud protection, so that I needed to call again to be sure everything would clear here at AT&T. Being without my own phone, Cameron immediately provided me with a land line and dialed my credit card company to be sure they would approve the charge while he began his paper work. Trying to get access to a phone to call my bank from the Apple Store surprisingly seemed to baffle them and I had to wait 5+ minutes before they could accommodate this simple request. Fortunately this delay and communication issue led me to leave and go to the AT&T store. I was prepared to buy the device outright. While setting up the new phone purchase Cameron discovered that I had Asurion protection on my phone. Rather than selling me the new phone or giving me the info on how to contact Asurion, he initiated the claim for me. Within minutes my new phone was on the way. If you've ever lost a phone, you know how desperate you can be - especially when you need the device for work. Add to that feeling the expected financial hit you're about to take buying the phone outright and it's no place you want to be. I forgot I even had the small fee protection plan. I can't begin to thank Cameron for his help with this. He never hesitated to help even with it being so close to closing time. So many times people are in such a rush to close you might as well not even come into a store a half hour before closing. On a side note I saw another customer walk in looking for an iPad screen cover just a minute before close and saw another team member pull up a chair and help them install the cover right away. Logan worked with me to transfer my friend's number and waived the installation fee. On top of that, he gave my friend a $100 AT&T Awards card. Have been with AT&T for probably almost 20 years and will probably be switching all of our lines to Verizon. Called ahead before driving down this store and was told the phone we wanted was in stock. Upon arrival it was not. The clerk was very nice and said she would order if for me. She accidentally ordered the wrong phone. APPARENTLY once they place an order it can not be cancelled or altered at all even within minutes of placing it. SO, waited a week for the wrong phone to come in so I could drive back and return it and order the correct phone. Now the phone is out of stock and unavailable indefinitely (Samsung S22+ 512GB). So placed an order for the 128GB, and received multiple notifications via text and email that the phone was being delivered yesterday between 2-4pm. The phone never came. Wasted another couple hours on the phone being transferred around and ultimately told their delivery service "ENJOY" (ironically) did not have someone available to deliver it and it was rescheduled to Thursday. Never received Any notification of this. Not once over the last month and countless hours I have been speaking with people did anyone ever seem give one shit about this. I received scripted apologies. It is for this reason, after 20 years we will be moving to Verizon, who could not have been more helpful and informative when we went in to inquire how we go about transferring all of our lines to them with a new account.
