I placed an order online for iPhone pro 17 sliver the day before. I received an email my order was ready for pick up at 11am. I came in 20 mins before my time. The person that helped me name Peter. We sat at the table i proceeded to show him the confirmation number. I already had the email pulled and showing the confirmation number handed him the phone while he looking he has my phone a little longer than needed. He gives me back the phone I seen I couldn't find my confirmation email anymore. I end up checking my trash he deleted my email trying to cover it up. He ends up getting up to look at inventory on the computer because the tablet was messing up shows the sliver was no longer in stock. He walks over to his manager AJ that was helping a customer looking at them talking I seen he shows the customer the iPhone 17 Pro Sliver laughing because he sold it to him. Peter comes over and tells me they don't have it and they have an orange one in stock. I said that's fine. He said the Manager AJ can updated it in the system I said okay and proceed to sit down. The manager then says I can't give you that one that's for a customer that has an order fulfilled for 3 weeks but you sold the phone I ordered that wasn't even 24 hrs to someone. They refer me to Cameron park that's hella far away. Horrible experience for a new customer I wanted to check out the regular service before bring my business account over they don't even deserve 1 star. I just got off the phone with customer service and they confirmed that the order wasn't even cancelled. I was transferred to 6 different phone numbers to cancel my service that wasn't working , I returned all the equipment and they couldn't give me an amount to pay. Finally an email shows up, drive all the way back to pay that bill , the friendly employee couldn't give me a receipt because their printers weren't working. Neither were the credit card machines in the front , had to take me into the back area behind the facade. They wanted me to use the kiosk to pay the bill. Catch is , if your account was closed like mine was , the kiosk won't recognize you. The customer service agents on the phone barely spoke English, they couldn't find my account even when it was open. These guys have no clue how to run a business. When a customer wants something to prove they paid off their account , a real professional business should provide it. The only way customer service could attempt to fix my problems with internet is to charge me 10 more a month , which made It even worse. I thought I had bad experiences at ATT but , this experience made me long to be back with them. read more

I have Verizon for an iphone and internet. My phone was crushed so I bought one online and paid $29 to have it delivered. I paid for the convenience and because I needed the phone right away. Unfortunately , the guy that showed up spend most of the time hard selling me an Asurion repair plan I didn't want. I told him over and over and over again I didn't want it. He was in my house and I could not get rid of him. He would not take no for an answer. He would not shut up no matter what I said. I finally bought the plan JUST TO GET RID OF HIM. Of course you have to cancel in writing which is par for the course for scams that people don't want but get pushed in to. I am headed back to Verizon today to return the new phone and cancel Verizon. That way they can't make it hard for me to cancel. They trapped me in a bait and switch, invaded my personal space and charged me $29 for it. It was not in any way convenient to have a stranger in my house who would not leave . It is not in any way convenient to have to fill out a form and mail in a cancelation first thing this morning. read more

Why do people always feel scammed after buying a phone? Hailey was very nice when I was there so I felt good buying, then checked my bill to find a bunch of extra charges. She told me the first month of phone insurance was free and I can cancel after that. NOT TRUE. Talked to Verizon and they said insurance is never free since it's through a third party. So there went $19. Another surprise $25 fee to "set up" my phone. She didn't even do anything. I already had my phone backed up and ready when I got there. They said they can't refund that when I called and it's on all phone charges. The block she told me was FREE for the new phone charger was surprise! Not free... $35! An extra $80 that they threw on the bill. In store they can't do anything besides return my block. What a joke. Go somewhere else if you're going to buy a new phone. I had an issue with my I phone and took it to the "APPLE STORE" in the mall. While several employees were standing around, I approached one. I then began to explain the issue I was having with my phone. She said that she could set an appointment and they'll give me a call. WHAATTTT!! "How could you call me if my phone's messed up? " She then spent several minutes talking to another employee that was again doing nothing and then returned to me to tell me that I had to go to Arden. "NOPE!!!" Come on man!! So while I was driving home I decided to stop by the Verizon store. I walked into the store and was greeted professionally by Joey. I explained my issue and he said he'll take a look at it. Joey fixed it in 15 seconds. He then explained to me about upgrading and the plans that I could do with the new iPhone 14. I was SOLD!! Their customer service is efficient. However, Verizon, itself, is a bad deal. I quit Verizon because I was fed up with paying exorbitant rates for phone and internet service. I switched to At&t because my overall costs for the same services were literally cut in half. Moreover, the cost of my new Samsung AT&T phone was way less than I paid for a new phone with Verizon. Later, the Verizon store sold me a cheapo tablet that I didn't like and now I had two wireless bills! I never had a tablet prior, and the clerk didn't explain that I would be charged for another wireless line. Not good! Check out At&t and other services and compare before you sign a contract with Verizon. Finally, I had a disagreement with Verizon over my closing phone bill and they charged extremely heavy late fees and penalties. My advice: Look elsewhere for wireless services. read more

Their deals are super good, I have an unlimited screen protector service so I can brake it and I will get another one. Verizon also has good deals like buy one get one free. This place is not an actual Verizon store. On the outside of the store there is a large "Verizon" sign. This is a "Go Wireless" store. Watch out for scams and misleading information. My daughter and I both traded in our old iPhones. I was told that mine would have a trade in value of $400 but when it came time to do the transaction, I was informed that I would only get $100 in trade in value. I later called every other go wireless store in the Sacramento area and was told that I should have received $400 in trade in. Kirk, the person that sold me my phone, also added all kinds of things to my purchase, which I did not request (a phone charger, 2 different screen protectors amounting to $110, and a phone case). Later, when I went into the store and questioned him about these, he told me that in lieu of the $160 set up fee for the phone, he sold me products. $160 for set up fees?! He also charged us $100 per line additionally to set up the phones, plus another $25, set is up with the most expensive plans, and put all kinds of add ons to our lines. Our first phone bill was $454. I advise anyone thinking about doing business with this company DONT DO IT...RUN!!!! read more

If I could give a 0, I would. Went in and was "helped" by a guy who was rude and argumentative. But the real "gem" of this store was Justine, the apparent manager. She was so rude that the Verizon rep on the phone kept apologizing for the comments that she was hearing. When I asked her name, she walked away. I asked the guy and he said, "She can tell you her name if she wants". At which point, she got sassy waving her finger and rolling her head and told me her name. Unbelievable. We went in to the store ready to purchase a brand new Samsung S4 (mine had broke and we did not have insurance). We were ready to pay the full $600 since we were still in contract, but when we went in to the store, the man at the desk first scolded us for not having insurance (and not in the "fun"way, he was straight up rude). We told him we just wanted to buy a new phone. His response was "Why would you want to do that?!" He then tried to sell us another line. We told him we didn't need another line, we just wanted another phone. His response was "Well, you don't have to use it, but you would pay the $600 over 2 years this way" We then told him we just wanted to purchase a phone...again. He continued to harass us to get another line. My husband then asked him about sending the phone back to Samsung to be fixed and wondered if it would be cheaper. The man told us that they would only fix structural components of the phone and would not touch a phone that we broke, and that we needed to get another line. We ended up leaving because we were feeling harassed. We ended up calling Samsung, and the company said they would fix any phone for $200, and that the man at the store lied to us because they should know that....WOW! I like to use stores and companies that are trustworthy. I'm assuming they get commission or something for opening up extra lines because they let a $600 sale walk out the door by lying and harassing the customer....just saying... read more

I have gone to this store whenever I've upgraded to a new phone. Previously I found staff to be very helpful. However, this year I decided to purchase an unlocked iphone 6 from Apple, after verifying multiple times that it would work with my carrier, Verizon. On March 12th, I very excitedly took my new phone in to get my service and number transferred over. There was only one staff person in the store (that I saw). Her name was Valencia, and she was extremely rude to me regarding the new phone. Insisted that the unlocked phone sold to me by Apple would not work for Verizon and questioned how I came to think that it would. When she finished with the customer before me, she said that she would give it a try, but that it would cost $20. My husband and I told her that we would instead go directly to Verizon. At this point she retorted that she would, "guarantee that Verizon will charge you $20-$35 for that." All in all, she was extremely rude and unnecessarily negative. I could only conclude that she just didn't want to help us. I will never use this store again. read more

All I can do it share my story and hope everyone else has a different experience, but here goes; I went in the store to get my son a birthday gift. Everything in store went great. However... Verizon sends me an email- "Your bill is ready to view", so I click it to pay my bill and am FLOORED at a bill of $616.00 when it isnormally jsut over $100.00. I call Verizon for help and find that not only is my son's new line added, but three additional lines as well! Verizon was able to suspend the three additional lines, however, I then had to call Verizon's fraud department for further assistance. Discussing the situation the Verizon fraud department did indeed feel fraud was the case. He asked if there were any other "customers" in store durning my visit, to which I answered no. The entire time I was there it was just the one employee(Nathan, according to my reciept), my two children, and myself. The fraud rep then explained sometimes in a third party store like this they'll accidentally leave the account open, help another guest, then accidentally add the extra line to the account(mine in this case), but usually they catch it within minutes. The fraud rep was able to pull up my transaction with my signature that verified just the one line added. He was not able to pull up the second transaction that showed the three additional lines, which he found odd and suspicious. He also found it suspicious that the three extra lines were not added for another one hour and 15 minutes after my initial transaction. Verizon fraud was able to remove the extra charges and the extra lines. They recommneded I file a police report, call and add a consumer statement to my credit reports, and add an additional "password" to my Verizon account. I'll be filing that report this afternoon as well as calling to add the consumer statement. The additional password has been added. I can't point blame. All I can go off of is the sum of the parts. If it walks like duck and talks like a duck, it's usually a duck. read more

Verizon customer service is horrible and I mean horrible. I received a text from them that stated "exclusive offer" so I clicked and called customer service. He painted a very nice picture and said it would be x amount of dollars. Which was lower than my current bill so I agreed. I asked several times for something in writing because I've been down this road before. Didn't send me anything but assured me it was for x price. After changing my account he said the system was down so he couldn't send me my changes but said if I look on the app it would be there. I said okay let me look before I get off the phone with you. Sure enough my billed went up $71 each month and doesn't match what he said. I of course asked to speak to a supervisor and 2 hours later I'm still on the phone trying to fix what he did. They are saying my old plan isn't available anymore. Excuse me I was lied to and now you tell me I can't have I had before. I'll be looking for a different phone service after this call. read more

I was a long time AT&T user but was contemplating switching to Verizon for our family plan. My decision was made easier by the superb service provided by Chad (Store Mgr.) and Alexis to us this past week. Both were very honest and helpful in explaining how the Edge plan worked versus AT&T's family plan. We ended up buying 4 iPhones for our family. I highly recommend going to this dealer instead of dealing with the long lines at the Galleria store. If you do end up going there, be sure to ask for Chad or Alexis. read more
