Here we go again with this generation ultimately treating customers like you're bothering them when they are working. So, my phone refuses to login to the ATT app and I can't do the upgrade unless I go into the store. I get into the Roseville location near the iPhone Clinic, chunky blonde female sitting at a table, doesn't get up to help just greets me and remains seated, I explain why I'm there and she has a stupid look on her face. I ask "I am here for an upgrade but I don't know the difference between the new phones and the upgrade promos going on." She states "The phones are up there, I don't know what the differences are.....you can read the descriptions or do the compare iPhones if you want to know." At this point I'm kinda annoyed at her laziness to do her job. If I were a business owner and my employees had zero knowledge or desire to know the products they are selling I'd fire them. What a joke and I see why they are rated at 2.5 stars. @AT&T you better get a regional manager out here and handle this horrible customer service at this location before everyone goes to Verizon. I wish I could give this location a 0. Save yourself the trouble and just go to the one off Galleria across from the mall. We walked in at 1pm on a Saturday and it was completely empty. No other customers - but four employees. The employee (let's call him #1) that helped (I use that word extremely loose) us didn't ask any questions about the size, color, or anything that would signify which phone they needed to get from the back. He states that it will be 10 mins before they can open the safe. Uhh ok, strange but we wait. At some point he comes out to say it's going to be another 10 mins. The safe is sticky and he entered the wrong code. As we're sitting there Employee 1 and Employee 2 get into an argument saying "come at me bro. Don't talk to me like that bro, etc.". Employee 3 goes and shuts the door while Employee 4 is just sitting at a table. A few minutes later Employee 2 comes out and then has a convo with Employees 3 and 4 about anger issues and how he is always professional. None of them have acknowledged us waiting or what just took place. We never saw employee 1 again. We were tired of waiting and felt extremely uncomfortable. As we were walking out Employee 3 was very snarky and stated that if we just continued to wait they could help us or we could go down the street and wait a long time. Well we went down the street and we're immediately assisted. Got what we needed and were out the door in 10 minutes. I guarantee that we would have still been waiting at this location. I get going to a phone store is not pleasant. But this experience was so bad it's funny. There was absolutely no semblance professionalism or mediocre customer service. If you're looking for help with the poor cell reception that AT&T is known for, (only I bar at the store that's only a stones throw from the freeway) you wont find any help here. I walked in around 2 in the afternoon on a weekday and was greeted by two employees leaning up against a phone display. I asked if a store manager was available and told that he was with a customer. Only one other guy in the place sitting with a customer so I assumed it was him, which it was. When I asked him how much longer he would be his reply was "not long but I'm going to lunch when I'm done" Enough said, total incompetence from top to bottom at this store. Came into the store & worked with a young lady named Brenda. Decent customer service at this location, however she seemed clueless as to know what she was talking about. She was not familiar with many products and was not really the helping type. I observed her making other customers feel uncomfortable even before she came to help me with my purchase. Highly disappointed and really hope they would train managers better within this company, seems the hardest working people are sales reps. The worst customer service ever. The manager kept on going to other customers while helping us which frustrated me. After all of that, my phone was still not set up right even though they said it did. What a bunch of liars. I ended calling AT&T transfer the next day and fixed the problem my self. They annoyed me so freakin much that when I needed to turn it my old phones for the trade in promotion, I made sure to go to another store. This younger gentleman named Drake was very professional with us demeanor and delivery of instructional information. It seems unfortunate that this location has been hit with staffing issues. Drake doesn't allow this to discourage him with the quality of service he provides as well as maintaining a great attitude. We recently transfer service from VZW to AT&T and after getting the run around from AT&T Telesales decided to take matters into our own hands and visit an AT&T store. Fortunately Drake was able to resolve our concern within very little effort. During our visit while we waiting for service we overhead several other upset customers who dealt with a third party seller or telesales AT&T as a company needs to get their act together. Nevertheless, I've digressed. Drake was able to provide these customers the service they should have to the first time and remains an advocate for AT&T. If we ever need anything AT&T related we will definitely come back here. Buyer beware, AT&T/Directv are not the company's they used to be. I have had positive experiences with both ATT Uverse & Directv in the past. Based on my positive previous experiences with both companies i signed up for a two year contract to receive home internet/phone/Directv service. It has been a two year nightmare of low quality service, repeated billing errors on their part and nonexistent customer service. AT&T's new business model seems to be get people into contracts with arbitration agreements that protects AT&T from from any liability and then administer the accounts with crappy error prone automated service, backed up by a maze of call centers that are useless, AT&T's system is so broken that even the Staff and Managers at the stores i had to waste a considerable of my time at were unable fix the numerous reoccurring billing errors on my account. After the contract expired i switched to Wave which has been great, however i am still tied to AT&T as they made another billing error, a $100 overcharge on my closing statement which they have acknowledged and are unable to fix, for the last couple of months i have continued to rack up more wasted hours of my time receiving AT&T customer no-service at the AT&T store & being bounced around on their useless call centers. The Stanford Ranch store where i purchased my service is a standout in poor customer service and lacking integrity, when i went to the store to get assistance i was informed by the Manager that his branch did not handle billing issues and referred me to another busier branch claiming that it was the corporate store and could assist me, this turned out not to be true, pretty slick. read more

10/14/2019 I have been a customer of AT&T for almost 20 years and today was one of the worst customer service experience I've ever had ever. Reason being I added a line to my current phone and it has been a nightmare ever since. I went to this particular store thinking that this young gentleman will help me but pretty much just sent me away because I had a problem that I needed to be solved. He was more interested of making a sale on an iPhone 11 which I told them we already have an iPhone X and we just need to add a line and there was an issue so he told me to go to another store for help.I was in disbelief that this had to happen but I guess by working there and not getting proper training or business etiquette you just need to tell the customer to go away and go somewhere else. I hope AT&T reads this and improve their customer service experience or lose more customers to other phone carriers read more

They're quick to upsale you on a product, but when the billing inevitably gets messed up or you need some kind of technical support, they're not only utterly worthless, they're borderline rude. Upsold to Direct TV from Uverse. They screwed up the installation date, screwed up the pricing, and when I went in to the store to ask for some help with On Demand not working (att over the phone was zero help) they acted as if I was a bother to them. The "manager" Matt was dismissive, rude, and unhelpful. When I asked for help calling Direct TV/ATT I was told they couldn't help me, but if I insisted they'd just call the same number I called so how would that help me. Very rude. This store saved my wife and I from being without our cell phones for 3-5 business days (5-7 days). My wife and I had been AT&T customers for 22 years when we finally had to switch to a different carrier, because we bought a home in west Roseville that had very poor signal. To be honest, we've been unhappy with how AT&T has been treating us for the last five or so years and this was finally a reason to move on. We went into a rival wireless carrier and they ported our numbers, but since we had purchase our phones under a payment plan, we needed to pay them off before they could be unlocked and used with the new provider. We called AT&T and explained what was going on to customer care Rep that needed retraining in her job. Rather than apply the $606.48 to pay off the phones thus allowing the unlocking... it was applied to our future bills and caused something called escalation of payment. When the Rep couldn't help us anymore, she suggested we go into a store. We came to this one. There were two women working and the store was empty. We spoke to Nyasha C. who was able to see what the rep had done and tried to fix it, but was unable. She then contacted their customer care and against resistance and call disconnects, she fought tirelessly for two hours while also helping the other lady working to handle a rush of customers that came in while we were there. She went above every expectation I could possibly have to help us get our phones unlocked so we wouldn't be without them for a week. She even put the Disney channel on their TV so my kids had something to do. She fought and fought until she was able to get someone to make it right. We were able to unlock our phones and activate them with the new carrier. If she's willing to do this for someone who is leaving AT&T, I can't imagine what she would do to help someone who is a continuing customer. I called and spoke to Gus the manager two days later to let him know she was amazing and he was very receptive to the complements. Thank you Nyasha, you fought tirelessly to help us and we are very grateful. We will be returning to this store for any phone accessories we might need, and if the service ever gets better at our house, we will come to this store to switch back. read more

Went to the galleria store before heading over to this store. Was welcomed in by the staff immediately, and was checked in for the wait. I was assisted by Trebor who was really helpful. He got me and my family of 4 signed up for service. The manager was also very helpful with deciding which phones to get and helped explain the promotions we would be able to receive. Overall great experience, we are going to be sending some more family this way to the store. They were even able to maintain positive and professional while other customers were causing a scene inside the location. Whoever trained this team deserves a raise! read more

Bought an item from here. Item arrived by mail. Item was not working out of the box. Took it back to store where I made the purchase. They did not help me exchange it. Told me I had take it to Apple store. Apple store said they would repair and not exchange. I told them I wanted a new one, since my item was new out of box. Left store and finally called ATT Customer support line and they directed me to an ATT company store. Do not do business with this authorized reseller. Go straight to ATT Company Store. My first experience with this store in particular was a wonderful one. My boyfriend was attempting to transfer over his phone from Sprint to AT&T, Spencer walked us through the process clearly and was extremely helpful, he clearly knew what he was talking about. We went in the next day to follow up and transfer lines officially, this time we had a female worker with long black hair (I cant remember her name). Not only was she not friendly or welcoming, I left the store frustrated because I didn't feel as though she knew what she was talking about. I was confused if she set it up the correct way or not and she didn't answer my clarifying questions once. After we got home and finished up the "hour and a half long update" (she wanted us to sit and wait for in the store) the phone began not working. iMessages were being sent from an iCloud email and not a phone number, so I drove back to the store for help. She said "sorry this is apple's issue we aren't trained on this for AT&T". Then why is AT&T selling brand new phones with APPLE PROBLEMS. We did nothing but follow the steps to set up a new phone. This shouldn't have happened and the zero acknowledgment or even attempt to help was so frustrating. I wish Spencer would have helped us through this. read more

I went to the AT & T store first thing Saturday morning and they weren't open. I was there at 9:00 but they were not there, so annoying. So after about 10 minutes someone finally opens the doors. When we went to pay the system was "down". So we paid in cash instead. Today I see that I was charged for my purchase, so I basically paid twice. I've been calling all morning to correct this and they won't answer their phones, sometimes it'll just ring and other times it goes straight to voice mail. Worst customer service ever!
