Not a Verizon store. It is a Victra, which is a third party which Verizon inexplicably allows to sell their products and tag on hidden fees and shady mandatory financing. Ordered an Apple Watch. When I went to pick it up they said I could not buy it outright and instead had to finance. Also we're charging $107 in "taxes". Local tax rate would have added up to $62. I don't blame the young girl who could not explain the financing rules or the additional $45 in "taxes". I respectfully asked to cancel the purchase as I had not yet paid and they said okay as I wasn't rude. I went to a Verizon store and bought no problem. Now I have both watches on my account and my new bill reflects that I have financed the Victra watch for 36 months. Excellent business model if you're Victra. Went in today to get a couple of new iPhones. The guy never even acknowledged that we were there. He served another customer in front of us and before he was done he got on the phone and blabbed on and on about air conditioning. Horrifying experience. "Josh" was rude and lazy. I came up to the counter and told him that I had an appointment made by Verizon to transfer my service. He didn't even look up my appointment nor greet me. He rudely exclaimed that he couldn't help me with that and he didn't care whether I had an appointment or not. Then he immediately turned to a customer who walked in. When I re asserted that this was my appointment time, he said that I was interrupting his helping someone else. He couldn't be bothered with my appointment and further insisted on calling the police if I didn't leave the store. Very lazy and rude and a horrible person. Would not come back to this location. Staff are not helpful and this is the second time I'm told to call Verizon or download an app that would allow a technician to remote into my phone to fix a message issue. I know the employees name but since he looked like a teenager I don't want to blast him on Yelp. REALLY not helpful. When I asked questions about my bill, I had to ask him to look it up rather than guessing the answer. Verizon is the new Comcast. When I come to the locations they tell me to call customer service. When I call customer service they transferred me 7 different people over a 2 hour phone call. Verizon can check their records. This is not exaggerated at all. Horrible Customer Service by Dacey C! I was told that I needed to give them access to my account to be in the store! I asked if that was their policy and was told yes. She was rude!!! I do NOT have to give access (my pin #) to shop for a new phone! Went into to add a mifi to our account. We sat waiting for a half an hour while the one person helped another family. Don't mind the wait but another family came in and got help. Then another employee came out and when a man came in without a mask he was acknowledged and helped. Got up to leave and neither employee said a word or offered a possible time we could be helped. Been a Verizon customer for years and have ownership in a business that uses a lot of cell phones. Not a smart way to treat a good loyal customer. read more

I ported 3 lines over from AT&T to my existing tablet account. It took the store over four hours to make the switch. At the time, I also pre-ordered an S8+ with the free VR bundle. When the phone came in, they had trouble activating it and canceled the pre-order to sell it to me as a new purchase. Except that invalidated the pre-order bundle. When I went to the store to get them to make it right, they tried to put me off until May 4th, which would be the last day I can return the phone. No thanks. I've given them the rest of this day to make this right. At this point, I will not return to the store unless they go above and beyond to get me the VR headset and prove to me that I am valued as a customer. I should have gotten the phones at Costco. Lesson learned. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Since my last visit the screen protector on my phone broke so I went in to get it exchanged. Of course they were out of stock and promised they would call me when they came in. I never received that phone call. Today I went into their sister store in Antelope to replace the screen protector and I was in-and-out in less than 5 minutes. What an amazing difference a well-trained and courteous staff makes. The young lady and gentleman that helped my grandpa and I get new phones were amazing! I was very impressed with their customer service and how dedicated they were to making us happy. I would never come back to this place. First of, they charged me $20 as a service fee to transfer my data from my old phone to new phone but I had to go home and do it myself because they're about to close and the guy there didn't want to stay late to do the transfer for me. I was fine with it then the guy asked me to buy accessories for my phone and said he'll give me a good deal. I asked him that since I have to do the transfer data by myself, can they waive that fee. The guy said yes and so I went to the rack to pick out the accessories. I picked out about 6 items and he said it would cost me $300. I told him I can't afford that and don't want to buy it. That guy responded back and said that since I'm not buying the accessories from them, he can't waive the transfer fee that I had to do for him. That's very twisty which I don't like. My husband and I got charged $20 each to do the transfer data for that guy. I don't remember his name but he's the most dishonest salesman I've ever met. We were adding two new phones to our existing account and wanted to ensure we maximized each data plan (and offerings) while minimizing costs for each family member. Henning did not usher us out the door as the time approached closing... Instead he seamlessly set up our phones, answered questions, kept us entertained with pithy conversation, while literally half jogging around the store closing & cleaning it up. The day before I went to a Corporate store (albeit right before closing) and was informed I could only receive a price quote.. That I would have to return the next day to purchase.... The sales associate suggested looking at the plans online when I had additional pricing questions... Henning was able to drastically reduce our monthly costs (by well over a $100 per month) via his product knowledge and honesty. We 100% will be back to buy accessories and additional phones. After looking online and seeing no options for store pick-up of the device I headed to Verizon Wireless at 10305 Fairway Drive in Roseville because they were open until 7:00 PM - I arrived at 6:30 thinking all I could do was order it. They had several in stock and I had the best phone purchase experience ever. Dacey was excellent and despite it being close to closing time she took care of every detail. She expertly worked through each step of the process so nothing was missed, I walked out with the phone at 7:00 ready to go and easily transferred all the content from my old phone.
