The AT&T store at Roseville Crossing, 2724 Lincoln Drive is not a corporate store but retail. Be careful with what service that you getting. I recently went in to upgrade to a newer phone and the "manager", without my permission added an additional data plan to my line. I had told him several times, just order the phone and leave my plan alone. I never received a copy of the transaction. Within an hour I received the AT&T confirmation that I had changed my plan. Apparently I had unlimited starter AND unlimited extra. $$$. He also added $6 a month phone protection plan because the phone was being shipped to the store. I had declined that as well. Projected bill went from $85 a month to $321 next month and $202 on going. Manager insisted that the bill was "not real", and that my plan was not changed. Credits would come through (I doubt I would get $236 in credits) but I could not trust this salesman. Order canceled. The Ford Parkway AT&T store is corporate, I would suggest going there instead. read more

SAMANTHA, the helpful corporate AT&T store representative, saved me from having a meltdown today! We've been dealing with online & phone representatives (read outsourced) trying to update my SIM card for my iPhone. After different, conflicting statements from these "representatives"-listening to the scripted "I know what you mean" and the phone STILL not working, I had had it! Samantha checked our drivers license (for security) and quickly helped us. I really wish we had started with visiting this corporate AT&T store and talked to a real person instead of dealing with the too many transfers to staff who were broken records. read more

Went last weekend with my partner to get onto a phone plan together and get new phones. Because I was getting off of my parents' plan with Verizon, there was extra information I needed, and because my Mom is NOT tech savvy by any means, it was taking me a while to get a hold of her. Our store rep was super understanding and patient, and eventually we were able to get everything squared away. We both got iPhone Xs Max's, which we both love! Our rep was also great at getting us the best deal, including buying our phones from us to knock down our initial price. Thanks for all your help! read more

Called the store thinking finding a real human could give me direct info to correct the HUGE error ATT has done, To have Joe give very unaccertate info and no help at all or offer any help. Identity theft is horrible. How can a company verify NOTHING and DO nothing to correct the error. I have never had ATT and after this STAY AWAY. look at how they treat people that they have caused huge problems for. If you are a criminal . DO NOT use the Rosedale ATT location. The people there, especially the manager, are incredibly rude. I went with my 76 year old friend to pick up a new phone we had ordered at the Fridley location (they are very good BTW) and they essentially gave us the phone in the box and refused to do anything else to help. The manager accused us of budging in line and accused us when we came in of not knowing what we were doing. We asked one of the associates to at least attach the case and he forgot to remove the plastic covering. But since they didn't give us the charger at least my friend didn't wreck her phone using her old charger. Very bad and rude customer service. read more

I came to this store with some questions and concerns regarding my bill. Kenny was available and quick to help me, and listened to all of my concerns before offering to help. He walked me through my bill, clarified some of the charges for me, and explained to me why I hadn't gotten credit yet for some of the refunds I was expecting. I also appreciated that he found an activation fee that I wasn't suppose to pay-so he took care of that! The store has a nice size parking lot to it, and wasn't too busy when I attended. My daughter went into this store with a phone purchased at Apple. They couldn't help her activate the phone. They said she needed to go do that online. She was also treated rudely by the employee. AT and T should be a phone service company, and not so worried about selling phones. Very saddened by the treatment she was given. 10/10 would not recommend going to this store. Went in with a friend to help her trade in her phone for a new device and after the associates confirmed that they did not have the phone in stock, would not assist with calling around to different stores. Then, after WE started calling around to stores, the associate walked out unannounced for his break in the middle of "assisting" us. On top of the piss poor customer service, almost all of the staff were wearing their masks below their nose and/or taking it off to talk to us. I believe the associates names were Michael and Jessie, however, they never explicitly introduced themselves. Ended up walking out with nothing and would not go back. read more

We have been having some billing issues for a while and tried to contact AT&T many time via chat, email, phone, and even visit the store at MOA who said there was nothing they could do and online people were the only ones who could help. The online people didn't understand what was going on when we tried talking to them multiple times. We though we had made an appointment but I guess the MOA manager never called like he said he was going to, so we had to wait half an hour. We were paired with Rob who listened to our situation and helped us figure out options to remedy the huge miscommunications we had experiences through all the customer support channels we had tried. With the help of Moh, they were very kind and were able to remedy our situation and apologized for all the miscommunications even though they weren't really involved with them it was refreshing after we had been told time and time again that there was nothing that could be done. Even after the wait which was because of a failed communication, I am so happy to say all of our issues were resolved and we are once again happy AT&T customers. I would gladly recommend Rob, or the store manager Moh to help with anything you are having a problem with. They even went through and talked with chat for us while we were there even though the MOA store said that was something they couldn't do. Definitely recommend this store over all other AT&T stores as it was top rate customer service we had received. Thank you so much for all your help! read more

This location is no longer a corporate location, it is sub contracted. Apparently the manager here told me about their iPhone 12 half off sale. That's it. All he told me was that iPhone 12s were half off and I would own it. (He also told me the sale ended at the end of the day. Which is not true, it's still active) A couple days after I get my phone delivered, I decide to check my family plans insurance to see what it covers. Apparently this guy signed me up for a 3 year finance contract without my permission. I go into a corporate location in Saint Paul and they tell me they get people in there upset about the Roseville location doing this kind of thing all the time. (The employees at this location get commission so they will push phones and accessories down your throat). The guy that sold it to me originally cut me off when I was trying to ask questions, gave me an upset look and told me to let him finish. I would not recommend, especially if you want to ask a lot of questions. The location I went to in Saint Paul on ford prkwy was great. I ended up going in a few times, seeing different employees and they were all pretty straight up, knowledgeable and explained the details very well. read more

This review is directed at the AUTHORIZED RETAILER (dba Midwest Cellular) located in Rosedale Mall, not the corporate store. It appears that the screen saver that was placed on my new phone wasn't installed correctly, because it developed a small chip in the upper left corner of the screen- fortunately it was just the Plexiglas protector, and not the phone- which remained intact. The screen cover ($40 value) would have been replaced immediately on a walk-in visit if the purchase had been made at a corporate store. So I went to a different store (a corporate store) for service, and the agent helped me create a user profile for warranty on the original case (which the original store didn't do, or inform me to do on my own) and then told me I was required to pay a $13 fee to cover the shipping on a "free" replacement. I grumbled, and realizing that I had no other option, ordered the replacement screen cover, with the kind help of the agent- so that I got the correct part ordered. Living dangerously without protection for the front of my phone, and hoping the replacement would arrive soon, I discovered today that UPS handed my arriving parcel off to USPS for "innovation delivery" from the post office, who promptly delivered to the wrong house. They advised me to contact the shipper to arrange for a replacement, if they weren't going to be able to retrieve the lost package. So then I contacted the phone case company (BodyGuardz) who stated they had a 10 DAY policy for waiting for missing parcels to show up before replacing. That would have been just over 3 weeks waiting for protection on my phone- not good. Finally I called the store (MIDWEST CELLULAR) who just repeated that they would/couldn't help me, because I had to get the phone protector via the internet. I'm thinking they probably wouldn't have helped had my phone gotten damaged in the interim, either- and I won't be going back to that store for help to replace the new cover. The postal service was able to locate my missing box, and just redelivered it with only one additional day in transit, so I'm back in business- but not before both Midwest Cellular AND BodyGuardz missed the opportunity to provide the most basic customer service. read more

Needed assistance with my voicemail setup as it was no longer working properly and went to the default voicemail with canned voice. Initially contacted ATT customer service by telephone but was not able to resolve the issue. Called the local ATT store in advance to request assistance with this service and was told to come into the store. Upon arrival we were told that the store was only providing "essential services" so could not help us. This trip to the store was an entire waste of our time. While the manager apologized I asked why the employee who answered the phone did not tell us this and was told that "he was in training." The manager then told us about online support but we had worked with customer service by telephone previously and it was not successful. The manager also mentioned that they had a sign on the door stating all of this information regarding essential services. I should add that there were two signs on the door. The sign in Spanish was at eye level for an average height male (5 ' 9") and the sign in English was at the eye level of a person about 6' 5" so not easy to read for a shorter woman. The signs on the door were small about 8 x 11 and there were no signs on any of the windows indicating essential services only. Very poor customer service in my opinion. Maybe time to change to another provider. read more

BUYER BEWARE! The retail locations WILL SCAM YOU WITH UNKNOWN CHARGES! They work on commission and will hide charges so they get paid more. When you go to fix them you apparently get treating with disrespectful "managers" like, Trevor. He is one of the most unprofessional and rude people that I have ever met- in or out of the service Industry. After having undisclosed charges to the tune of over $250 on our bill we called and they directed us to the store. Trevor not would not only not help us or explain anything he kept cutting me off saying "that would never happen". Well, it did indeed happen! He called us liars even though we had legitimate evidence to our claim. After leaving the store I tried calling the 1-800 number again and thankfully got Brenda. She not only profusely apologize for Trevor's behavior, but she also gave us a FULL refund AND and additional $50 off of our bill. Above and beyond what we were expecting. All I wanted was the incorrect charges removed. Trevor claimed (bragged about) to have been with AT&T for over 7 years. If people like him have tenure I sincerely question AT&T's honesty and integrity. I now wonder what else has been unknowingly "miss handled" on my account by people such a, Trevor. read more

I switched to AT&T 10 months ago as I was in the market for two phones and they had a buy one get one "free" offer. The sales person did not tell me I couldn't pay off my phones so I paid everything except the $649.99 that was supposed to be the "free" part. As of today I have spent over 8 hours on the phone and several hours in store with these people trying to get the installment payments stopped. I have had four open cases, even an ICU case, which is a total joke. The cases are never resolved. The first case they told me that the deal was invalid because I had to have installments on both phones. The second time they told me one phone needed to be on the installment plan, so the deal was not valid because I paid off both. The third time they said that I paid off the wrong phone and the phone that the account was tied to had to have installments. They finally opened an ICU case for me when they told me I invalidated the deal because I didn't have direct TV. I have been a Direct TV customer for over 12 years!!! Called back on the ICU case after not hearing anything for almost a month and after being on and off hold with someone for over an hour,explaining my story, being reassured that I would be helped, someone else came on the line and said "this is AT&T how can I help you?" They transferred me to another person in the middle of my call!! I can't believe I'm still even a customer but I was hoping to get a reimbursement for the $649.99 that I was not supposed to pay, which is a significant amount of money. I realize now that I am never going to get them to do the right thing, so I am just going to take a loss, but I am going to use the time that I would be spending on the phone with them to tell my story everyone I can.
