I had dropped my Iphone and part of the corner popped out of the case, so knew I needed to get my smartphone fixed. I checked out some Yelp reviews and decided it was worth stopping by. First, Snelling Avenue was undergoing major construction when I drove there, but it was easy to get to and has its own parking lot, which is super convenient. It was empty when I went in, and I was promptly attended to. The store manager, Demetrius W, helped me. He went over the minimum labor fee of $26, and they literally fixed it within 5 minutes. I barely had to wait - had great customer service, and found the price to be reasonable from other estimates that I got online. Overall, very happy with my relatively easy Iphone fix!

When I dropped off my phone it was functioning and charging completely fine. Picked it up the next day and it wouldn't charge and was stuck in a restart cycle. Demanded to know what happened to it and after running some tests they finally admitted they had fucked the motherboard. Okay price for fixing screen but be prepared to have to buy an entirely new iPhone and if they destroy your cracked one they only refund cost of screen not $25 labor cost, which is ridiculous because all they did was destroy my phone.

I'd been looking for a tablet and had no experience with them at all. I am fairly computer Savey having been a software developer for 40+ years but tablets were something of a mystery to me. Jay & chatted for 15-20 minutes, talked about my needs and what I intended to use it for. Jay offered to send me some info on a couple of new tablets he knew about and could order. He also mentioned a different model available at the local "big box" store. I checked out his suggestions plus the big box option that he had mention and it turns out the big box store had a "just introduced" version of his suggested tablet that had a larger screen, more storage and a slightly better processor than his suggestions. Plus it was a few bucks cheaper. All in all I did end up getting the big box tablet but I really appreciated all of Jay's time and effort that he put in with helping me figure out what would work for me and the price range I would be looking at. I went back there the next day to show him the new tablet and got a screen protector from him. He was just the help I needed and did it even if it didn't earn him very much. Can't ask for better help than that. I'd go back to him in a heartbeat for anything he could help me with even if his price wasn't the lowest one!

Now I know what you are thinking, I didn't have a choice of locations. I did. Three years ago for a different phone, they took care of me. With that said, I am happy to say this was my second satisfied experience. This location is north of HYW494 in a court of shops, businesses, and restaurants on Lyndale Avenue. My phone is complicated, so normally these questions are asked. Did you drop your phone? No. Was it dropped in a liquid? No. Was there anything you did to break your phone? No. It was simple, my screen cracked about 1 inch from the bottom of the fold of the phone. After filing my claim and taking it to be fixed, the uBreakiFix team confirmed the status of my phone and said this would be taken care of. I know this was a long-winded story to make sure John and Christian (uBreakiFix experts) are taken care of. Because of them, my experience was spectacular. They were kind, patient, thorough, experienced, etc. Also, they sent me a personal text with the status of my phone and when it was fixed. When I arrived to pick up my phone, they were happy to see me and explained what they did to fix my screen. I know this sounds unreal. Why would they show so much care? I don't know. I challenge you to find out. See if they treat you as well as they treated me. Thanks, John and Christian! This is for uBreakiFix leadership, please replicate their kindness and professionalism.

Hands down, Shock City Cellular in the Rosedale Mall is the most irresponsible, disorganized and…read moreshadiest cellular agent I have ever had the displeasure of purchasing cellular equipment. Irresponsible and disorganized because after nearly 7 weeks of purchasing our first phone on the family plan, I, not Shock City Cellular, am still trying to fix their mistakes. They not only set us up twice on the wrong family plan, but they also submitted the wrong wireless number for insurance. So of course, my number was unable to be found. Today, I am still cleaning up their mess. Shady because in my opinion, they only look to make sales, regardless of what they promise. The following example is case in point. On their website (shockcitycellular.com) they have a coupon for $20 off equipment and $10 off accessories. We purchased a Samsung Galaxy S3 and an I-Phone 5. The $20 was taken off the Samsung and we purchased a case for $10 less due to the coupon. Because my phone was not in and because Staci, the Wireless Expert for Shock City, "did not know how to apply the $20 off the I-Phone", she said she would take the $30 ($20 equipment discount and the $10 accessory discount) off the accessories I buy when I come back. I agreed. A week later my phone came in. Staci set it up and now tells me that the owner, Nate Puccini, will not give me the $20 portion of the equipment credit because they "don't do that on I-Phones." Please note that at the time, the coupon specifically had a picture of the I-Phone on it. So how does that make sense? Furthermore, the $10 coupon I still had on accessories now does me no good because THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY I-PHONE 5 ACCESSORIES! So essentially, the $30 coupon is useless. But wait it gets better. She then tells me that I WAS LUCKY I was able to get the discount on the Samsung phone because they usually don't accept these coupons. What?!?! How ridiculous is that??? Shock Cellular has a coupon, I use the coupon and I am 'lucky' that I was able to get that money discounted off that product?!?! I was so disgusted that I finally called Chad Capp, who is supposedly the Vice President of the company, but he never returned my call. Ridiculous... Buyer Beware! Stay as far away as you can from Shock City Cellular in Rosedale!!!
