Hands down, Shock City Cellular in the Rosedale Mall is the most irresponsible, disorganized and…read moreshadiest cellular agent I have ever had the displeasure of purchasing cellular equipment. Irresponsible and disorganized because after nearly 7 weeks of purchasing our first phone on the family plan, I, not Shock City Cellular, am still trying to fix their mistakes. They not only set us up twice on the wrong family plan, but they also submitted the wrong wireless number for insurance. So of course, my number was unable to be found. Today, I am still cleaning up their mess. Shady because in my opinion, they only look to make sales, regardless of what they promise. The following example is case in point. On their website (shockcitycellular.com) they have a coupon for $20 off equipment and $10 off accessories. We purchased a Samsung Galaxy S3 and an I-Phone 5. The $20 was taken off the Samsung and we purchased a case for $10 less due to the coupon. Because my phone was not in and because Staci, the Wireless Expert for Shock City, "did not know how to apply the $20 off the I-Phone", she said she would take the $30 ($20 equipment discount and the $10 accessory discount) off the accessories I buy when I come back. I agreed. A week later my phone came in. Staci set it up and now tells me that the owner, Nate Puccini, will not give me the $20 portion of the equipment credit because they "don't do that on I-Phones." Please note that at the time, the coupon specifically had a picture of the I-Phone on it. So how does that make sense? Furthermore, the $10 coupon I still had on accessories now does me no good because THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY I-PHONE 5 ACCESSORIES! So essentially, the $30 coupon is useless. But wait it gets better. She then tells me that I WAS LUCKY I was able to get the discount on the Samsung phone because they usually don't accept these coupons. What?!?! How ridiculous is that??? Shock Cellular has a coupon, I use the coupon and I am 'lucky' that I was able to get that money discounted off that product?!?! I was so disgusted that I finally called Chad Capp, who is supposedly the Vice President of the company, but he never returned my call. Ridiculous... Buyer Beware! Stay as far away as you can from Shock City Cellular in Rosedale!!!

Prices for accessories are not marked and may cost you 50% more than retail. I asked for a case…read morethat retails for $35, was asked if I wanted it put on (it has a screen protector so is not returnable), and then told I owed $53+. I asked what the price of this case was and they claimed $50. Be very careful as they are NOT a corporate Verizon store even though they certainly look and act like one.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TRUST THIS STORE (proof included, see pictures)…read more I was lied to and ripped off by this location. On July 25, 2025 I came in for a new iPhone because mine had broken that day and I needed a replacement quickly. I asked to trade in my phone. The salesperson took my information, went into the back, and returned with a "Recommended Solution." This included equipment I never requested. I was told the gear came with a "Promo Plan" and that my bill would remain the same. I just had to pay sales tax upfront and then one higher bill (about $200 more than normal) before the promotion would start. See the pictures of the worksheet they gave me and the online bill printouts. We got the second bill, and it was STILL about $180 higher. On September 4, 2025 I went back and spoke with the manager, Devon. He lied directly to my face. He calmly told me my plan had not been switched correctly, which is why I wasn't receiving the promotions. He promised to fix it, said my next bill would reflect the credits, and that he'd request refunds for the months I'd already overpaid. None of this was true. Also on September 4, 2025, I received an email that T-Mobile would no longer cover my Netflix. I assumed this was because Devon had changed me to the correct plan with promos (new plan, no Netflix). Wrong. He did change my plan, but my bill is STILL the same with no credits and no promo. Today I called T-Mobile corporate and they confirmed everything. I am going back to return the gear--most of it still unused. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TRUST THIS STORE. See pictures. They will scam you if given the chance. There are plenty of other ethical places to buy from.

I do not care what other people have to say about this store, this store has helped me when Xfinity…read morehas been ripping me off of years. i got a phone plan from Xfinity and they gave me a phone that broke within 2 weeks. yet I was not able to get another phone unless I paid of the phone that broke. so I had to switch my SIM card into a different device just to it not to work and I still had to pay for services. I went to Xfinity and they said that I would be able to get a new phone once I paid off the old one just for them to say that I could not get one so I had to pay for a service that I was not able to use. I went to T-Mobile with no hope just for them to help me get a phone and a really good plan to boot these guys helped transfered everything from the old phone that would not work with Xfinity service which took almost an hour the guy was very patient about this was the best service that I have ever had and I still thank them for their service they made it a lot easier for me so trust these people they will help you

I recently went in to upgrade to a newer phone and the "manager", without my permission added an additional data plan to my line. I had told him several times, just order the phone and leave my plan alone. I never received a copy of the transaction. Within an hour I received the AT&T confirmation that I had changed my plan. Apparently I had unlimited starter AND unlimited extra. $$$. He also added $6 a month phone protection plan because the phone was being shipped to the store. I had declined that as well. Projected bill went from $85 a month to $321 next month and $202 on going. Manager insisted that the bill was "not real", and that my plan was not changed. Credits would come through (I doubt I would get $236 in credits) but I could not trust this salesman. Order canceled. The Ford Parkway AT&T store is corporate, I would suggest going there instead.

After different, conflicting statements from these "representatives"-listening to the scripted "I know what you mean" and the phone STILL not working, I had had it! Samantha checked our drivers license (for security) and quickly helped us. I really wish we had started with visiting this corporate AT&T store and talked to a real person instead of dealing with the too many transfers to staff who were broken records.
