I've been trying to process a broken screen claim with Asurion for going on 3 weeks now. Its impossible to get anyone on the phone that knows anything or is willing to help. I've been transferred back and forth between att and Asurion nonstop trying to get this settled with no luck. Somehow they have the color of my phone and imei number wrong. When the correct one item it changes the other and this has happened over and over again and ive processed and canceled over 15 claims over the past 3 weeks. Asurion is trash. Their customer service is outsourced and they just give you the run around. DONT PURCHASE ASURION INSURANCE ALWAYS GO THROUGH THE PHONE MANUFACTURER INSTEAD. Long story short, ill be canceling my line with att and going to T-mobile since they dont partner with Asurion. read more

If you're looking to get scammed, this is the place to go. They added services to my account without my permission and were extremely rude when I returned to have them removed. My aunt also came here to get services and was treated just as poorly. Despite purchasing a phone from them, the staff refused to help her with it, saying, "We don't know how to help we just sell." When I brought up these issues to the manager, I expected at least a basic level of professionalism. Instead, I was met with hostility and told it wasn't their job to handle "petty complaints." The lack of accountability and basic customer service is honestly shocking. I'm surprised they haven't faced serious legal consequences. The worker told me that they did not have any change at the store. I went to buy something. at another store just to get change. I returned to pay for the service, the worker said that they did not have any change. They only owed me 36 cents. The worker did not apologize, he did not say anything like, "Sorry for the inconvenience." This was on 7/5/204. This is the last time I go there. In San Francisco, you have other options when it comes to AT&T stores. What type of business doesn't have any change for their customers? Not even 36 cents. I've been fed up with Verizon, so I popped into this store to discuss switching over. I end up signing a contract for a 13 mini. They don't have pink in stock at this location so the nice Hispanic gentlemen whose name I can't remember told me about this new service where someone will come to my house with my phone and help me set it up. That's cool I thought. So I set up the delivery for two days later. I told him I need to be called at this address because I don't have a doorbell or any way of knowing if someone is trying to make a delivery. So he takes my current phone number down. Come two days later and a little before the scheduled delivery time I get an email asking me to check in to the appointment through their service Enjoy. I attempt to check in. But as technology fails, I was unable to check in. 30 minutes into my appointment time I get another email saying they cancelled it. I try to get back into enjoy to figure out what's going on but it's still failing. I call the store i signed the contract at and scheduled the appointment at for this phone and I get Angelica on the phone. I ask her what's going on with this delivery? I trying to get through using the links and it isn't working. She talks to her manager Ramon, who then tells her to tell me that they don't do that kind of service here. Only corporate does that. Nothing is more triggering and enraging than being called a liar. I inform them I did in fact sign the contract and scheduled the delivery through one of their sales guys at that location and that I don't appreciate being called a liar. I ask them if they can pull up my account so that I can see what sales guy I was helped by two days before. Angelica says. Oh we can't pull up your account without the last four digits of your social. So I said, so then use the last four of my social. And I told her the last 4. She then puts me on hold. Gets back on and tells me. Oh we can't pull up your account without scanning your physical ID. In order to find out who helped me I had to go in. I ask for her name. Her gaslighting Manager's name and for a corporate phone number to call and complain to. She gives me a local number that just sends me to the market St AT&T. Not the corporate number. Another bold faced lie. The market St store confirmed. I have to go in with my ID in person to do anything but that they do have the phone I want in stock. Honestly the whole reason I want to jump ship on Verizon is because of shitty service like this. So I'm not even committed to getting this phone anymore. Going to go check out Google fi. I was picking up someone at the airport and waiting for the call that the plane has landed. The never came. Almost an hour later, I learned that AT&T had turned my pre-paid phone service off. I had to call their customer disservice line and go through that crap to learn that.....instead of sending me a letter in the mail......instead of using the email address I provided......instead of using the messaging in box that they force on everyone attached to their account.......instead of texting me with another unwanted text message from your AT&T service provider...... AT&T chose to turn off my phone service in order to et my attention so that they could tell me that "nine months from now AT&T would no longer support my phone on their network. I told them that nine months from now I would no longer be an AT&T customer. Everyone knows that AT&T sucks. Very very disappointed with ATT, after being with them for 8 years, today I found out the 2 lines that were cancelled 2 years ago, were still on account and I was paying for them. I hate auto-pay and switched back to paper billing, that way I can keep track of my bills better. Called customer care and after 90 mins, agent offered a credit of 200 for each line., not all of what I paid but something. Phone got disconnected, never called back. I call again get a different agent who said no record of conversation with a different agent and no credit. very disappointed. do not recommend ATT to anyone. read more

Shout out to Tristan at this AT&T store. He and his manager was able to assist me. I was a bit frustrated with AT&T 611 over the phone, but I'm glad that this store was able to assist me. I was have trouble activating my sim over the phone and the customer service rep advised me to go to a corporate store for a sim replacement. Tristan was able to get me a sim replacement and get my phone activated. They also resolved my auto pay discount issue with his manager. I gave them a call about an hour after I got home and they were able to make the adjustment without me having to return to the store. I recommend this store for any AT&T customers. The service I got here at this ATT was solid. I was traveling to London for about a week and needed to update my service so I could use my phone there. I had to wait a little bit but the guy that helped me explained all the options and it was a painless process to get the service activated. Everything worked fine in London so kudos to these guys. People here are nice and they know what they are doing. I came in to port my number to at&t with no reservation. It was busy and we waited for like 10 min. And then as soon as a guy finished with his customers, he came to get us seated right away. After seated, he asked us some basic info to fill out a form on ipad. He answered our questions with clear answers. Everything done in 10 min. Nice job. I have been to other att branches, sometimes they just asked us a bunch of questions and asked us to wait. After waiting for a while, they would tell us nah they can't do it here. Well, they can't? or they didn't know how to? I have no idea. Luckily this branch isn't like that. First of all, we were promised that we were going to pay 215$ a month for wireless service but ended up paying 300$ + each month, We bought an LG phone on one of our lines with a promise of half price. After we were overcharged for a few months we decided to switch to another company, they said we cannot keep the discount if we switched, so we decided to keep that line with at&t with a promise that we would pay 78$ a month, but as always AT&T did not keep its promise and charged us 99$ instead of the promised 78$ a month and took away the 50% discount on the LG phone, We went to customer service hoping that it would help us, It was a major mistake They said that they didn't have the ability to correct this, and said that they will continue to charge us full price for the phone and would not help us! We spent around 3 hours at the at&t store and on the phone but they refused to help us. I would not recommend this service to anyone. read more

If I could give this store no stars I would. I have been having problems with my calls dropping and my phone rebooting only while I am at home. I went into this store to get assistance with the problem. The girl who was helping me was really nice, but Ramon walked over from the back and interrupted her and then looked at me and said very rudely " what is the problem here?" I explained the issue I was having with my phone. Ramon cut me off numerous times and told me to call Samsung and it was not an AT&T issue . This is email i wrote to their store manager: Last week - 7/25/2008 - I purchased a iphone 3G from your store employee at 2410 mission street location. During the sales, your sales person recommended that I purchase a apple bluetooth bluetooth headset that comes with a iphone/headset docking station for my new iphone 3G. I purchased it because your salesman told me it came with a dockstation that works with iphone 3G - the only reason why I purchased this expensive accessory. When I took it home, the new iphone 3G didn't work with the dockingstation. Your sales person sold me a accessory that didn't work the new iphone 3G. On monday, I brought the bluetooth headset back to your store. I told your your assistant manager about what happened and he told me the salesperson made a mistake. I told your assistant manger that I did not want to pay for restocking fee because this was not my fault. He agreed, and told me to come back next day because your system was down. I went back to your store today, to get my refund. Your assistant store manager, first ignored me. Then he told me there was no way to avoid the restocking fee. I also later learned from another sales rep. in the store that they were NOT supposed to be selling apple headset that they sold me - but the sales guy was trying to make a quick commission. So far, your incompetent, store employees wasted HOURS of my time from work. I eventually got the * partial * refund credited back. At this point, I'm letting everybody know in sthe community and online reviews site about your store staff. Hands down this is the worst customer service I've ever received in an AT&T store. 1. We walk in and no one greets us (this is relevant--see # 3). 2. We find two employees--Rory and Ronald--near the back chatting with each other. 3. I wait a minute to determine whether the conversation is business-related, it's not. I ask for help and am told I need to sign in at the front and be placed in a queue to be helped. Me: "But you two aren't helping anyone, you're just talking, we are waiting to be helped." Rory: "Sorry, you have to sign in, there are three people ahead of you." 4. Mr. Sign In guy takes our names and says we are third in line. 5. Meanwhile Rory and Ronald disappear into the back--and I don't get the feeling they're coming back out to help anyone. 6. I ask Mr. Sign in if HE can help us. Mr. Sign In: "No." Me: So all you do is sign people into a waiting queue?" Mr. Sign In: "Yes" Me: "But you could be helping someone instead of just standing here, taking down my name, and having me wait. I haven't seen this sign-in process in any other store. And you didn't tell us about signing in when we walked in." Mr. Sign In: "That's just how we do it it this store." Solid 1-star, "Eek! Methinks not" rating. I've now concluded that entering the Mission for anything other than Mexican food is a waste of time and energy. I came in UBER excited to switch over from my iPhone 3GS to my new iPhone 4 from my little sister since she got all crazy fancy with her iPhone 4S or Siri or whatever the hell it's called, only to leave utterly disappointed. The store itself was the usual AT&T store: clean, fully stocked with displays of things that are out of stock, and a swarm of employees picking their noses because of the lack of customers. I swear, if AT&T has the money to hire THAT many people, you would think a customer would NEVER leave disappointed like I was. Plus, the chit chat among the staff was appalling, just to note. Britney Spears' "Womanizer" should be this store's theme song. Anyways, the employee that helped me was nice, seemed like he knew what he was doing, but after three attempts at trying to switch my phones, he was unsuccessful. He ended up muttering his apologies for now knowing what was wrong, referred me to an Apple store, switched my phone back to the old one, and ushered me out the door. Womp womp is an understatement.
