FRAUDULENT!!! My mother went in for an upgraded phone and instead of upgrading the phone they opened a new line and attached a monthly installment to it for the phone. Now she has 2 phone lines but one is a phantom line, and when speaking to the store they refused to help, gave the run around and finally told her to "stop calling the store". Now there is a fraud claim being investigated by ATT for these men who decided to prey on an elderly woman and increase their numbers for their own gain. All the while depleting the tight budget of an old person who can't afford 2 phone lines especially when one doesn't even exist in the world!! Horrid people. Liars. Scammers. Just awful. I hope they are fired when the fraud claim against them is done. read more

This place sucks. The definition of scammers I don't know how this place is running, they must be pocketing money. They gave us quotes that simply don't exist, we went to AT&T headquarters after this and they said their quotes were completely wrong. They were not only scammers but absolute jerks, so rude, didn't talk to us and then proceeded to gossip in Spanish and call us sassy. In addition, we got a phone here a year ago and we found out today they have been charging us $17 a month for something we don't need and already had covered by insurance!!! Unbelievable. I went here to pick up and order that i placed online and was treated very rudely. I was waiting in line to be helped and there was a lady and a man working who completely ignored me and my family and helped other people who walked in. Then when I told them i was picking up my order that i payed online already they were telling me i need to pay chicago taxes. I tried talking with them and showing them my receipt and order number that i paid but refused to listen to me and kicked me out. I was unable to pick up my order that has been paid for. This place flag out tried to scam me of my money. Can't even place an order online anymore without trying to scam me and with the extremely rude customer service I have decided to switch companies after many scam attempts with this company and this store. read more

This store provides high quality service! we had another upsetting issue with ATT and we ran over to this location for help on a Sunday. This was our second experience with personnel at this location and both times we couldn't have had better service or more competent assistance. today, Anthony went to bat for us and helped us resolve an ATT account error to the tune of an overcharge of over $1,000!! he was also able to pay the correct amount and set us up for auto pay which ATT never did establish on 3 previous phone conversations With agents. I must say if you need help and live anywhere near this location they are absolutely the best. Both Vidal and Anthony have been outstanding and we wish they were in ATT Management positions. He helped my fiancée and I get 2 new phones and help my fiancée get on my plan. Christian was efficient and knowledgeable. I recommend this location to obtain the new iPhone 14. read more

I traded in my wife's old iPhone at this store. I was told by Anthony G. that I would receive a $350 credit to my AT&T bill prorated over 36 months. A week later my wife received a text message from AT&T that we needed to upgrade to an unlimited plan to qualify for the offer. I was never informed of this requirement and have no need for the unlimited plan. The store agent took my wife's phone knowing I would receive no compensation. I complained to the manager and was told that my wife's phone was already sent to AT&T and that I would receive nothing for the trade in. This store is actually owned by Prime Communications. I contacted the district manager by email. I received no response. It is apparent that you cannot trust the employees to give accurate information. I would recommend avoiding all Prime Communications locations. read more

Please note I went to the store around the beginning of December. I'm writing this review now since I started seeing extra charges on my bill this month. When we went to the store it was about an hour until they closed so it wasn't very busy. The employees were helpful when it came to buying a new phone. When it came time to pay they weren't friendly. Currently we have a family plan and two of the lines have unlimited data. They asked if we wanted to remove that and I said no keep it. They didn't want to listen and kept insisting I go with a lower data plan. They didn't stop until I told them I'm not switching so please stop asking. They then asked if we wanted insurance on the phone which I declined. They explained that the next bill would be $40-$50 higher due to the activation fee which was expected so I said ok. When I went to pay my bill today I noticed it was higher than normal, Plus not the activation fee bill was already paid. So I reviewed the bill and noticed that they put insurance on two of the phones on my plan!!! Needless to say I'm not happy so I cancelled the insurance and plan on calling AT&T to complain. read more

This store was unable to help me replace my broken phone. I called AT&T and got my replacement two days later. The employees at the store wanted me to wait months or get a prepaid phone and refused to sell me a new phone and/or contract. I came in today to see what they had for accessories and the store is extremely empty as far as that goes and the climate rather stale and warm. I guess since I wasn't there to buy a phone he couldn't give me the time of day. Went across the street to Target and spoke to their phone tech. He fixed my phone in less than 30 seconds. read more

I was with T-Mobile and was having issues. I wanted to switch to Verizon but they wasted a lot of my time and blocked my credit time each time I purchased from them. I really just wanted to Port my number and my billing cycle was coming to an end in few days. I didn't want to lose my number but after Verizon wasted a lot of my time I decided to look into AT&T. The location near my house was closed because of power outage in Streamwood. I came into this location and requested to port over. Neha assisted me in doing this and was able to answer all my questions. What Impressed me the most was that she was able to get me switched over and running within 15 mins. I purchased a brand new S6 from this location as a gift for my 74 y/o diabetic father in March so that he could have a reliable smart phone for emergencies. Dylan was the sales rep. In September, AT&T started blocking the device from the network because the IMEI was reported as stolen. How does a brand new phone out of the box get reported stolen? I've tried to resolve this with customer service reps, loyalty reps, online chats, etc spending countless hours trying to get this figured out. Everyone I've spoken to directs me back to this store, refusing to believe the phone isn't stolen. All have admitted that there may have been a mix-up with registering the numbers in the first place. We brought the phone back in store in September and the device and box had two different numbers. Now either my 74 y/o father who doesn't even know how to check his voicemail, let alone have any clue what a SIM card is hustling me or someone at this location is definitely running a scam. They reactivated the phone in store, no questions asked. Then the phone was blocked again in January because it's still listed as a stolen device in the AT&T system. Once again, AT&T reps said I had to deal with this store directly. When I tried speaking to the store manager today he was super rude, totally shot me down and said it was not possible that there was any kind of mix-up. It's my word against their store. Now I'm stuck paying off the balance of a $600 phone that's not even a year old and completely useless. AT&T customer service can offer me nothing to fix this either. And the worst part about this is that I got my father the phone for medical emergencies and he's been left out in the cold. This goes beyond bad customer service. I do not recommend this place to anyone.. the sales associate charday lied to me since day one stating I'll be paying less if I were to switch from sprint to AT&T.. I won't have any issues with AT&T. Pretty much saying anything and everything I would want to hear so she can make a sale. I gave her a follow up call regarding a rebate and she has an attitude, I brought up the whole subject that she used as a sales pitch (you won't have the issues you had with sprint when you switch to us). She stated she'll talk to her manager and give me a call back. Never received a call back. The customer service experience with AT&T is beyond unacceptable, they're rude and no managers are never available.. was told when I called someone would call me back within 10 minutes cuz they're going home.. no one ever called, I called back, was told it'll be a few minutes.. then that turns into 30-60 minutes, no one calls back.. call again, that's when I get told someone will call me back within 24-48 hours and what was promised to me can't be offered. I'll never buy another product from AT&T.. as many times as they try to sell me direct, I'll never go with them. Be careful with this store, they'll just blow smoke at you and say what you wanna hear until you sign up with them and it's a different story.. their customer service seems good when you're shopping around for a phone until you get it then they act like you're a bother! My next phone purchase from another carrier will be from Best Buy.. they have better deals and plans!
