I wanted to Leave this review about Deanne Cejka From the AT&T corporate store at 344 Dorset St. South Burlington, Vermont. About the end of July 2023, I visted the other AT&T store in the University Mall in South Burlington Vermont. At that time a gentleman named, Mark Gibbs worked there. I had an Iphone 13 pro, and Mark talked me into trading it in for an Android Galaxy Fold 4. He told me if I traded in my iphone, It would take a good chunk off of my bill. Well, to make a very long story short, Mark (whom has since been fired) not only pocketed my iphone, he canceled the trade in and he only turned in an old android that was only worth $6.00. I didn't even know that happened until I saw a huge bill for my iphone & AT&T Informing me I owed an aditional $550.00 and claiming I never traded in my iphone!! Obviously shocked, I reached out to Mark, and he assured me that was some kind of mistake, and said he most certainly did trade my iphone in. He is a liar, and that's just one of many reasons he lost his job. I was put through the biggest run around from the AT&T store in the University mall for MONTHS!! A worker named Gavin and his so called, "manager" Tim (whom I have since been told was never an actual manager) put me through HELL, and that's putting it lightly!! For months, they gaslighted me about this whole situation, and gave me the run around and would refuse to take the huge charge for the iphone off my bill. They even acknowledged they knew what Mark had done, but they just would not take the time or efforts to fix it when they had every capability to fix it. I could go on and on writing about the lies and running around they put me through for all these months! Even when AT&T was about to shutbme off because of the $550.00 on the bill, Gavin and Tim STILL didn't care, and continued to lie and give the run around. Tim, a who is a complete unprofessional, coward, wouldn't even return my phone calls, he would relay messages through Gavin, and Gavin straight up ended up telling me, "Tim doesn't want to help you; no one here is going to help you" then he LIED and told me Tim was at a booth at the job fair if I wanted to talk to Tim in person, but Tim was never actually there, Gavin just wanted to get rid of me! Absolutely HORRIBLE to treat a long time and faithful customer in her 70's this way. It wasn't until Deanne Cejka talked to me that anything got done! Deanne was helpful, compassionate, caring, understanding, and went well above and beyond the call of duty to rectify this fraud that done to me, even though it had NOTHING to do with her! Deanne still spent weeks, days and many hours to get this fixed!! FINALLY, Tuesday 10/24/2023, after another 2 hours spent with me, Deanne was successful with getting this fraudulent $550.00 OFF MY BILL!!!! I can't even begin to express the emotions and utter relief I felt after being treated so UNPROFESSIONAL and poorly by the University Mall AT&T in South Burlington, Vermont!! Literally MONTHS of stress gone, THANKS to Deanne's willingness to give the utmost amazing customer service!! she didn't give up and she took this fraud very serious, unlike, Gavin and Tim!! I had to leave this amazing review about Deanne!! She is such an angel, and I honestly can't thank her ENOUGH! She is the reason I didn't cancel with AT&T; after being a faithful and loyal customer for well over, 20 something years (or whenever Unicell switched to AT&T) and go with Verizon. Thank you so much, Deanne!! Thank you!! I HIGHLY recommend not only doing your business at AT&T 334 Dorset St in South Burlington, Vermont, but go and see the amazing, Deanne Cejka!! This is the worst customer service I have ever seen. One person checks you in and then sits on their phone while two reps are with other customers. How can you only have 2 reps working in a busy store 30 minute wait and I got up and left because I couldn't wait any longer. On May 19, 2022 I went to the South Burlington VT AT&T store to upgrade to a new ipad Air 5th edition. We reviewed the specs of the 5th edition ipad and he said no problem, we can get you that and there is a promotion that we can give you $300 credit to trade in your existing ipad Pro. I confirmed what he said was indeed the deal and he said absolutely yes, we will ship your new ipad to you and you then come back to the store to upload your data to your new ipad and trade in the old. I signed the paperwork, done deal or so I thought. 2 days later the ipad arrived but it was the old 4th gen version of the ipad which is not what I need and not what was promised. I returned to the store ( 40 mile trip one way) to get things corrected and was told the promotion was only for the older version ipad, not the 5th gen model. I asked why was I told differently, he said he did not know. (aren't they supposed to know what they are selling and promising customers?!) I pointed out that the deal was available on the online AT&T site. He told me sternly online AT&T is different from the store deals. I said why would that be as that store is a corperate store, he replied it doesn't matter and there is nothing we can do for you. I said so all my time and two round trips to ths store and all you can say is there is nothing you can do for me and not even offer me an appology? Christopher the salesman said I will not appologize to you and the other salesman said sorry but there is nothing we can do to get me to leave the store. I was shocked! I will never do business there again and urge everyone to stay clear of that store. I filed a complaint with AT&T but I do not expect anything to be done and multiple other reviews about that store are negative. Very sad. On a positive note, I went to the AT&T store in Williston VT and met with Brian who was super nice and extremely helpful. He got things all worked out and could not have been more awesome and professional. read more

Went in to buy a new samsung galaxy note 4. The bald sales associate told me it was "weird" that I wanted to buy one because I already had an iphone. After explaining that I was a paying customer of 10 years and prepared to pay 825 dollars cash plus tax for the phone and needed NO financing, he told me that someone would be right with me. 5 minutes later he walked by me. Then walked by me again, said nothing... Anyway, I hung out for a bit after that but eventually just left. What a strange business. read more

Att has great customer service folks. I needed an HTC One case so I stopped in and took a look at what they had. They didn't offer the case that I wanted but the service is still great. Now normally I wouldn't for up to bat for a cell phone carrier but I have to for our local att stores. These guys really seem like they care. So on a Friday afternoon I was out and about shopping and figured what the hell! I should just check in to see if they have the Otterbox commuter case. But they did not have it in store yet. They did offer to order it but it only came in purple and for me its just the wrong color. So I started to take a look at other cases. They even let me open them up to see how they fit but still no go! I guess I'm to picky but they where still super friendly about it. So at the end of the day it was a good visit and I guess you can't always carry every case at the launch of a new device right? Otherwise I love the HTC One! read more

I had to go shopping for a new phone, the last one was four years old, a relic! I have AT&T and was pretty happy. I got my last phone on Dorset St which is one of the corporate stores, and decided to try a store that acts as an agent of AT&T. I highly recommend Natalia, in the Shelburne shopping plaza on rt. 7. I visited twice she listened gave me several choices of data packages, I had already decided on Samsung after a fair amount of research and she agreed it is a good phone. The phone has to come by FedX but meanwhile she showed me a lot of things I can do with the phone. This store also gives you the promise of helping you after you get the phone to get setup. read more

Very disappointed with the service here. Waited with a line of customers as the three employees were either talking to the customers about their fantasy football league, the latest NFL game, TV or other irrelevant topics. The only reason I could tell who the employees were was because after they finished talking with a customer they would go into a back room for about 5 minutes while everyone waited. Overall very unprofessional and not helpful, I ended up leaving without talking to anyone because I was tired of waiting. read more

I went in with a badly cracked iPhone screen and the salesperson did NOT pressure me to buy a new phone! He advised me to get the screen replaced, recommending a person across the road at the mall. He even called ahead for me to check if I could get it done quickly! I'll come back for my next phone. read more

I've been coming here since back when the sign said Unicel. These guys are always helpful, fast, and great with customer service. AT&T has the best reception in Vermont (especially in the more far-out areas), and this is my favorite store to get my wireless needs covered. read more

The first few minutes of the sale went really well but the sales associate became a bit distracted and starting focusing on other things around the store rather than the sale. Bought a phone and service from this store about a month ago. Did not want the phone they had in stock but the manager and sales rep (Gabriel?) offered me my second month for free. Now AT&T customer service is telling me I will not be getting that. So essentially the manager and rep lied to me. Have cancelled my service effective the end of June and will do business with reputable businesses like Net 10. Do not do business with this store!!!!! read more

Horrible service! Was there for 20min and got passed over and twice. They have now want to sell anything.

I have been here three times now for three different phones over the last 6 years. Each time I always felt as if I received very good service. Today, I was especially impressed. I went in the morning and the wait was long, so they let me know I could reserve an appointment online, which I did, for later in the day. I arrived promptly and was seen promptly by Lester, who was not only a nice guy but ended up helping me save $15 a month on my family plan and I got upgraded to unlimited calls and texts very everyone on the plan. The phone I needed, wasn't in stock, so he ordered it for me. The woman working there was very nice to my dachshund (I carried her in a shoulder bag) and got her a bowl of water. Everyone has aways been great there (the first time I was there I bought my first iPhone and the next day it stopped working and they quickly replaced it with no questions asked) and it seems to be getting better and better. A refreshing change from so many other sales shops. read more

I am from out of town, and went to the Dorset Street AT&T location in So Burlington Vermont, because my iphone was having problems. The clerk that waited on us definitely had a very negative attitude and was not very pleasant or professional. I looked around at the other clerks and most of them appeared in jeans and most of them were dressed very unprofessionally. I guess AT&T no longer has a dress code. read more

Worst experience ever, HORRIBLE customer service and lies to get me into a new phone. DO NOT be duped by Angelo at Dorset st ATT. I went in for my two year free phone upgrade and he stated I would be paying at ONE TIME free of $33 for the taxes on the iPhone5s. It turns out it is a att next program and the phone cost $550. If I paid $99 outright for the phone( which absolutely none of this was explained to me) and sign another two year contract they raise the bill an extra 25$ a month. So either way they get their money for the phone. They are not willing to let me return the phone because it is past the 14 day return period by 15 days. ATT is the worst company for customer service and this Angelo at the Dorset st store do not trust a single thing he says because he will say ANYTHING you want to hear to get you to buy a new phone and will not explain any of the service to you. I am going to switch to Verizon at this point after being a customer for 7 years. read more
