Do not give your business to this store! We made an appointment and showed up on time and a sign was on the door saying due to staffing issues they were opening an hour later. We then went back in an hour and waited an hour and the sales staff still had not taken anybody off the wait list. I was instructed by AT&T to return a product to store and made the "appointment" as I have several accounts. I was early for appointment, only name on the wait cue, and the 2 workers chose other walk-ins ahead of me. I ultimately was only one with "appointment" and was helped (poorly) last. Seems I was not supposed to take the return to the store, and they printed me a ship label and sent me on my way to a UPS Store. I returned the item, it was tracked as returned/received in Texas and I am still being billed 5 months later. Several documented online and 1-800 calls for help, with each promising to fix - telling me to wait 2 billing cycles etc. and still not fixed. Over $600 in charges zapped from my checking account. Also challenges getting the robot on 1-800 number to not disconnect. Last 2 hour online session seemed promising until transferred. Zero promised credits received for the inconveniences. WHY do they make it so difficult to be a loyal customer? At this point, I want to discontinue all my products once the billing nightmare can be resolved. read more

What should have been an easy process has been turned into a weeks worth of work with little to no solutions done. No one answers the phone. I've tried calling over 10 times after they said I can call back to change an appointment and met me attitude over the phone as well. Chris got my esim reassigned to my new IMEI number which couldn't be done on the phone or elevated tech support. That was the only bright spot to this whole scenario. AT&T needs to step up their esim game. T-Mobile restored my line in 4 minutes on phone the while AT&T took 15 hours. AT&T has nonexistent service in Waddell, Buckeye, Surprise, and a large part of the 303. Skip their service unless you want to see SOS as your phone's connection strength. They are doing nothing to improve or correct the problem. Horrible service read more

Purchased two new I 16 plus phones on 9/25/24. Next day received one 16 plus phone and one 16 and payed the sales tax . Went back to the store on 9/27/24 and return the I 16 and Seth ordered the correct I 16 plus phone and payed the sales tax for that phone, and was told the credit for the wrong phone would be credited. The credit for the sales tax for the wrong ordered phone never went through contact the store via phone on 10/3/24 called 6 times and kept getting the run around, the excuses the manager is with a client and will call back. This business should be ashamed of how they treat their customers. My grandmother visited this location yesterday to trade in her phone that she purchased there years prior and was told "I can't help you, you need to go to the Apple Store." The employee gave no explanation why and he told her to stop arguing when she simply asked for an explanation. Today she visited the AT&T location on Greenway and Cotton Ln and they helped her get a new device with no issues. Seems like the guy could've helped her but just chose not to. Avoid this location and visit the one by Fry's on Greenway/Cotton Ln as they will actually help you. read more

I actually had good and pleasant customer service, albeit deceptive here in the Surprise store to setup my my new Samsung S10 phone and have it activated in November of 2019. HOWEVER this review is more about their supposed new 5G Service Network. The speed was advertised and puported as being in the 800-900 mbps range. This phone (Their "cutting edge" model when sold to me) has tested out to an average speed of only 25-28 mbps over 3 of the major national Speed Test sites! Major deception here as this speed only ranks as mediocre in the 4G LTE lower & outdated product line. I .am very disappointed about being played for a sucker after spending $900 for this phone and expecting lightning like results. read more

Went here to establish service and ported in from Verizon. I was advised a business account would be best for me. I was told no down side to this, but two days later learned that connected car devices cannot be added to a business account. Three hours on the phone with AT&T, and a second visit to the store and still not resolved. I highly advise going somewhere else. The service here could not be more uninspiring. Truly frustrating! I made an appointment at the store and went in to buy a new telephone. Seth came to help me. I told him that whenever I am out somewhere my phone says "Internet dropped, and then Internet restored" over and over again. Before he let me finish and say "so I am here to buy a new phone" he told me that he would check it on his system and if it's my home Wi-Fi then is my problem. I asked him to repeat it, and he did. And then said sit let me finish, I'm going to Verizon and he said "goodbye " Tried calling the store and they told me I will have a 20 minute wait to talk to someone. So I met Verizon and I'm done with AT&T and someone should make sure that Seth is done being face-to-face with clients. Seth was deceitful and dishonest and basically stole $50 from me. I needed a prepaid SIM card for my sons flip phone. He put the SIM card in the phone and it didn't work. They said it was non refundable. If he would have informed me that it was non refundable if it didn't work, I would not have tried it. Times are extremely tuff right now for me financially and I couldn't afford to flush $50 down the toilet. I stopped my account with them and went straight to Verizon. They were absolutely amazing. Horrible customer service. I called wanting to know if they had a particular color in an iPhone 11 and they refused to let me know. I was told that management would not allow this information over the phone and that I must come in to find out. I called 2 other AT&T stores and they let me know if the colors that they had in stock. It is ridiculous that this is the only location that will not let you know if they have a particular phone in stock and must drive to their store to find out. read more

Not impressed at all with AT&T rewards center. I had a card and it expired during this pandemic so I never used it or activated it. The rewards center makes no exceptions.I get I let it expire, but you'd think since no money was used that they could either reissue a card even for less money or credit my account some way. Nope- spoke with supervisors and say they can do nothing. A lot of companies are making exceptions, but not them. Just a heads up to anyone with an awards card. read more

In 2020 this location messed up our trade in so bad I am still trying to get AT&T to sort it out. Be careful. I did not know it until a few months after the upgrade when I did not get the promised credit. When I called the main office they informed me that the trade in was not something we were eligible for. So instead of a credit we have had to pay off the phone we sent in thinking it was a trade as well as the new phone. The store also labeled the new phone as a tablet. It has been a nightmare due to the salesperson who came across as really knowing what he was doing and they didn't. read more

I went to this stores the other day to look at some smart phones. I am not ready to buy yet, and I am looking for some info about smart phones since I have a flip phone. I saw the manager and he put me on the waiting list so I could be taken care of. I also mention to him that I was just interested and not ready to buy yet. I wasn't going to purchase one that day. He said no problem you can asked a rep anything and if I wasn't ready to buy that will be OK with him. My name came up and I was asked my phone number and what I did on my phone and what I used it for. He shows me a couple of phones and mention some of the features that each of them had. The rep could see that I was not ready to buy. I asked him a couple more questions then. Since I told him I wasn't ready to buy and I wanted some more info, he quit answering my questions. Then I said since I am not going to buy now you really are not going to answer any more of my questions are you? He replies by say Yes. So I said I guess I should go then. He took me through, step by step, the process to set up a new email account. He was very understanding, patient and most helpful during the process, even when I messed up a number of times. ...So far I have had (2) store visits and (2) phone conversations to switch my son from a prepay account to adding him to my account. No representative's information is the same as the one you spoke to before. Online I am an authorized account holder who less than 24 hours earlier changed plans and finally added my son (? - still in question) to our account. No problem. In the store I cannot officially activate his phone on our account although I am already being billed for it. Paulette, the store manager, explained what I need to do to complete adding my son to our account. The challenge is I have completed those steps twice - on a customer service phone call and in the ap. When I asked why I needed to do this a third time she just repeated that those steps were what had to be done. Very frustrating dealing with someone who has minimal understanding of human communication. She was unhelpful and uninspired. Education on their own procedures and customer service are obviously not part of the training for management at AT&T. read more

I'm not really rating the store and rating AT&T service I've been with them for 30 years and this is the worst service I've ever received. currently I cannot get voice messages, they say it's a problem with their system they created a help ticket they are aware of the problem and it's been going on for a few days now and it's still not repaired. Really? in addition to this I've had problems with my service connecting when I'm at home I do believe AT&T service has gone down hill, I have had so many problems with no resolution.
