Joseph Stusse greeted me at the door and asked if I came in for the iPhone Launch today. I noticed the balloons outside, but was unaware that it was Launch day. I had come into the store for another reason. Joseph went over the Launch promotion, explaining the value of taking advantage of this promotion of $1000 off when upgrading from my iPhone 14 to the iPhone 16 during this lunch. I skied him to sketch out the comparison of the new iPhone 16 compared to staying with my iPhone 14, since getting a phone upgrade, was not the reason I came into the store. He answered all my questions and drew out things for me to see on paper. Joesph showed me why it was advantageous to take advantage of the Launch promo. He ended up signing me up for this Launch promo for the iPhone 16. He even gave me his business card, to call him, for when I get my new phone in the mail, so that i could bring it in, to get my iPhone 14 data ported to the new iPhone 16. Then of course, he worked with me to get my original purpose for the visit handled. I wanted my LAN Line phone # transferred to my AT&T account. Joseph showed me that I could add it to my existing iPhone line, as a second phone# on the same phone. He set it up for me, and showed me how to use it. I am very happy with their service that I get, whenever I visit the AT&T Store at Bridgeport Village. The employees here seem to be much better than any of the other AT&T stores in the region that have visited. read more

I'm sure they are great for signing up and picking out accessories but I would stay away if you have any phone issues. If they can't fix your issue, they give you advanced tech support numbers with no solution in sight. I get that they can't fix every issue but they should know where to direct you to if it's beyond their knowledge. These advanced tech support numbers they provide basically send you in the same endless circle of troubleshooting. If it's an issue they are unfamiliar with, good luck. After three store visits and a grand total of 5 1/2 hours on the phone.... Here is what disappointed me the most, being thanked for 28 years of loyalty multiple times on the phone and in store and because they were stumped, I was told to take my business elsewhere and go to another service provider. They printed paperwork and told me to make another call for a pin. I was shocked to say the least. Especially because the phone I had was BRAND NEW (3 weeks old) and within the window of being replaced (my account showed I still had a week for returns/exchanges). The employees here wanted to try everything else but a new phone. I was told a new phone wouldn't solve the issue .... I think they could definitely improve on their customer service and need more training on how to treat "loyal" customers. After this entire experience, it was a hardware issue and yes a new phone would've fixed it and saved me from all the time wasted. read more

I went in for a new phone cover and screen protector as I drop my phone too often. Anthony helped me out and was great! He gave me multiple options with high drop ratings and one having a strong on it to wrap around my wrist which is great, replaced my screen protector and I was able to get a pop socket thanks to a bundle and save package. I purchased the AT&T screen protector with the lifetime replacement program. I have had it replaced many times. I went to the store and there were two persons ahead of me and two persons behind me. They checked me in after about 20 minutes and I told them it was just a screen replacement need. I waited another 30 minutes to be helped. Upon my turn they tell me they don't carry the screen protector in my phone model anymore and that I would need to order on line. Hmmm..... seems like there could be a better process here? Had they simply asked me and assess what I needed when I walked in I could have avoided being there 50 minutes. Instead they put me in the queue only to tell me 50 minutes later. Sure seems like a small tweak to their process could go better for everyone. read more

My problem isnt with a store, its with AT&T The company, specifically the customer service. A representative came around offering deals on Iphone 16's, along with paying off any old devices, and a decent plan for the new phones. He was great. AT&T however is not. I have spent 5.5 hours on the phone, with overseas phone banks trying to solve a data issue. None of our phones are working on Data. No sending pictures, internet use or even texting and calls away from home. Unacceptable. Through 4 layers of " increased customer service" , all of them saying the same things with no solution. Then they tried to claim a cell tower was down in my area, yet my Oregon phones didnt wotk in Washington either. what a bold lie. The At&T store claims they cannot help. I have no choice at this point to cancel the account within 14 days, and go elsewhere. Beware! I am a reasonable person with normal phone expectations, this is the worst. read more

total sh1t show. waited 3 hours while associates unsuccessfully attempted to merge our separate accounts into a family plan. literally no one at the store nor via corporate call centers had a clue. we were at one point asked to wait an additional time period while other store customers were attended to. we would have aborted mission and gone to another carrier, except one of our phones had been deactivated. during our epic weight, the associate asked us at least 6 times for the exact same information and chatted on the phone with another associate about their former lives in the philippines. read more

I was sold a faulty iPhone 13. I asked for a refund or a new phone. I was told to return or exchange the phone I just bought it would be a $55 stocking fee! The manager(Anthony Moran) at Bridgeport Oregon Told me he wouldn't give me a refund, and to get out of his store, and not come back! This is not ok! These phones are very expensive and I feel having the phone less that 24Hr I should be able to get a new phone considering I spent 2hr at the store while they repeatedly tried to make it down load, 3times before I asked to exchange!!! I've been with ATT for 15 years and this was the worst episode yet in a long history of billing issues. We went into this store to get a new phone for my wife. The rep sold us a new iPhone 11 and said we could get an iPad for $5 a month and he would make our bill the same or less each month. He did not tell us the iPad was a new line of service they charge fir and we would get also charged a next up fee. Our bill went from $150 to $260 in a month with all the garbage activation fees and new charges. I called the 800 number to complain and the agent said they'd fix it all and next month my bill was the same. Poor sales experience and poor service after the sale. read more

Colin was incredibly helpful to us while we switched over to a new unlimited plan. He had great knowledge about potential discounts, data allowance, hotspot plans and anything our family might need to transition off our old plan. I came into the store 3 separate times and he was super polite, efficient and effective each time. Never tried to upsell - simply gave me all of the options and helped me pick the plan best suited for our family. We ended up getting more data yet paying less than we did previously. Went here to upgrade one of our lines and was greeted as soon as we walked in. 15mins later we were helped by Kassie and she was very friendly and fun! She was very personable and helped us not only upgrade our line but saved us money and we upgraded one of our iPad and everything went smooth and easy. Trying to activate my new phone. The representative then happened to brick both of my phones, the old one and the new one. Told me I should call AT&T because he couldn't activate my new phone. I went back home. After an hour of back and forth on using WiFi calling, since neither cell phone worked now, with the customer service rep, the AT&T customer rep just told me that I needed to go back to the AT&T store where they can "fix" it. My sister and I both came in to the store yesterday for an upgrade and we were DREADING it. Neither of us have had very positive experiences when it comes to buying new phones through AT&T in the past and we nearly talked ourselves out of going altogether (cracked screen be damned)! We were helped by Marcy L. and I can't say enough nice things about her! Not only was she incredibly friendly, but her service was like no other, and she helped us both get new phones in under 30 minutes. She put us both at ease, was very knowledgeable, and didn't try to twist our arms into changing plans or additional upgrades. My husband has been with AT&T for years, and has been going to this particular office for as long as it's been open. We were there on October 28th and experienced the worst customer service ever. Lauren and a woman, (who refused to provide her name to us) were incredibly disrespectful toward my husband as he was trying to seek information around using the insurance he purchased for his phone. Lauren suggested that my husband upgrade my phone so he could get the phone that day, in my opinion was using a "bait" technique so we would then be on the hook for two phones. I'm leaving AT&T based on this experience and others similar by this location. These people could use a full day retreat on what customer service is. I spent a lot of time here in this store today trying to work out a deal. My GF's phone was on the fritz, she had 5 months left on her contract, wanted to upgrade to an iPhone but didn't want to pay $399 for it. We worked some trickery out with Christopher. He did some craziness and got her an iPhone for $199, myself an upgrade from my 1st gen iPhone to a 3G iPhone for $199 and a 3rd line with a free phone for the kid. All of these cheaper than what she and I were paying separately. Of course this is with a 15% discount from my company, but still. We got more for paying less. read more

After a harrowing 2.5 hour call with AT&T tech support trying to troubleshoot why my new phone wouldn't activate properly, the guy on the phone eventually decided that my best bet was a new sim card. He told me to go to this store, that he'd put some sort of note in my account info to explain why i shouldn't be charged for the new card. I went to this store. When it was my turn with an employee, i explained the short version: due to shenanigans with my account, my new phone wouldn't activate, and the AT&T tech support guy i talked to for 2.5 hours the day before said i needed a new sim card. The employee here looked at my phone, pushed a few buttons, and said, 'Oh, here's the problem. You need to activate it.' I swear i nearly climbed over the counter and attacked the guy. Treating your customers like complete idiots is, unfortunately, kinda the status quo, but ignoring them entirely and THEN treating them like idiots is really a new low. I wouldn't set foot in this AT&T store again unless i was paid at least $10,000 to do so. And drunk. read more

The salesperson at the Bridgeport AT&T store blatantly lied to me when I purchased a new phone under the new NEXT promotion. He explained it would be no money down and instead would be a monthly payment on my account. I specifically asked if the price would be the same as if I were just to pay the $199 at the time of purchase and he stated, "no difference" and "same price". We are at fault for not reading the fine print. We have since discovered we paid the full $540 amortized over the length of the contract. AT&T has been of no help, nor has the management at the Bridgeport AT&T store. We are stuck now with AT&T because we don't want to pay $1500 to get out of the contract. It will be the last contract we have with AT&T. A warning to all if shopping at this location - the salespeople are slick lying individuals. read more

No complaints about this store or the service. They were very fast and helpful and tried to get us out the door as soon as they could after we got my sons phone but he had so much on his old phone it took a while to transfer. I wished the At&t store in my town was this efficient. My only complaint would be the parking and with the vultures honking and not giving you enough time to get in or out of your car, and then to find out your brand new Acura which is black now has white paint on the side mirror. I know it's not the stores fault but just wish there was better parking. Aside from the parking lot mishap my son and I are contemplating getting a new iPad mini with the cool deal AT&T is doing. read more

I went in to exchange two unopened iPhones SE that I bought last Saturday for iPhones 12 Mini. The sale person, Dan, told me that there would be a restocking fee of $55. However the exchange policy from ATT website clearly indicates that restocking fee is prohibited on unopened iPhone devices. I told him that when I bought the phones from the store; I specifically asked the sale person, Collin, about the exchange policy and Collin told me as long as the device was unopened, there would be no restocking fee. Dan continued to refuse my request for exchange. I asked Dan for his Manager name. He only gave me the Manager's first name. I asked for the last and Dan said he didn't know his Manager's last name. Very disappointed. This is horrible service and sale person at this store is very unprofessional and doesn't even know about ATT exchange policy. I plan to write an official complain to ATT's CEO and the Headquarter. I've been an ATT customer since 1999. read more

When I tried to return it, the guys here were super helpful trying to find a way to figure it all out. Even though the sketchy store meant I had to jump through tons of hoops, it still all got figured out and these employees remained kind and calm despite my distress. The worst service ever! This AT&T store has very, very poor customer service and they don't seem to care. I stopped in to review an overcharge on my bill and was put a "20-minute" waiting list. After an hour I asked what the hold up was and was told in a sarcastic manner that " you are not the only person waiting." I could see that and I could see from the look on other customer faces that we were all amazed at the lack of concern for customer time. They should have had twice as many employees on the floor to handle the needs of waiting customers. I came home without getting the help I needed. First and last time I ever visit this store . I went in to have the billing responsibility switched from a large shared plan of family members to my wife and i's shared plan . Already spent 20 minutes on the phone giving permission to change billing . While I was there i was sold on direct tv which I gave $25 as a deposit . After 45 minutes I leave thinking the simple act of changing the billing responsibility to my shared plan was done . Later that day I find out that a different number had been placed on my shared plan , not my number which was the only number that had permission to transfer . I call the store , was told Brian will call you back before the end of day . No call from Brian ( one of the managers ) so I call the 800 number , was told at that time only a superviser can change something like This and they have left for the day . The next day I go into the store for the second Time in 2 days . Explain my situation , also explain after repeating my address 4 times for each of the forms they had to fill out , that the email I received had the wrong address for my direct tv installation . Another hour and I leave once again thinking my issues were resolved . The next day I find out they did switch the correct accounts to the plans they were suppose to . but instead of my wife and i's phones on a shared plan . They messed up once again and set up 2 separate shared plans. Separate shared plans for each of our phones . So once again I call the store , Brian or another manager will call you by the end of day . Believe it or not . No call . I call the 800 number once again get a very nice lady , promised me she would get it fixed but because everything the store did my account was so messed up someone higher up had to make the changes . The nice lady called me back and told me everything had been changed . The next day Brian calls to take care of their mistakes . Told him I had already fixed the mess they had made . Asked him if the billing would be corrected and he promised everything was straightened out . Fast forward a week , Saturday morning a direct tv installer shows up unannounced because the att store was sending notice emails to Someone else's email . I reschedule A week later he shows up again and now explains 2 of my rooms would need $100 fees for wireless boxes after I was told at att store all rooms would have cable at no extra charge . I ask the installer to leave . Everything settled and I can go on with my life . That would be to easy . 2 weeks later I find out my bill that should be $171 was $396 because I had been changed for 5 lines , plan change fees , insurance , monthly service . Chargies me for lines that they had no permission to change and don't ask them ton. I call 800 number and get someone who tells me they will average out what a normal bill would be and correct it. Guessing makes me uncomfortable , especially when Iv been told face to face that everything is fixed numerous times and this is where that ended me up . So I call the store again , Brian answered . Basically told me I needed to come in to get it fixed . That was today and my bill is still messed up . I'm out $25 for direct tv that I never ended up receiving , spent 3 hours in the store , 3-4 hours on 800 number , wasted my hard earned $ driving back and forth numerous times . I own company and don't have much time for anything especially continuously dealing with something that should've been done in 20 minutes . AT&T makes mistake after mistake and I'm the only one who cares to fix it . They have already told me something about direct tv that wasn't true it cost me $25 , they are very good about selling tv , business leads etc . But royally screw up my line and I'm stuck eating my time with no compensation to fix there mistakes . While they're getting paid to do whatever with no accountability . Maybe this review or contacting corporate today will hold someone accountable . They had me email all documents which gives me hope for redemption. people who get paid for something they don't do is pathetic and everyone Iv came in contact with at This store had a hand in this fiasco. read more

Walked in Saturday 1pm, not too busy, Emily helped me upgrade my ancient iPhone4 to a 5s. She was extremely helpful and knowledgable and started off by checking my past usage so she could suggest the best plan. I wanted the new "Next" deal where you buy the phone on installment and in return get a cheaper monthly payment and she made its terms more understandable (I will have the phone for 2-3 years like the last one, and this is definitely a cheaper way to go). After my old phone data was transferred to the new one, she waited while I figured it out and answered some questions. Hats off to Emily - I was worried that the upgrade experience would be a hassle and it was very straightforward. read more

This morning I talked to a rep, who took my information, then told me she could not help, then sent me to the same automated line which was NO help whatsoever. I finally had to go to the Post office, who, I might add--in my town is WONDERFUL. According to the fine print on this snail mail, AT&T is a part of this. Today I had the best experience I have ever had at AT&T. I have had AT&T for around 6 years and have never left a store feeling like I had talked to a competent associate. When I upgraded the last time, I lost my contacts because she forgot to transfer them. And that was pretty much how all my experiences went. Cole was a breath of fresh air. He was awesome. I walked in the store and it was pretty busy but he greeted me within the first 30 seconds. He said it would be about 20 minutes. He was able to make it over in 10 He was a great blend of friendly and professional. I was relieved to talk to someone who knew what they were doing. I also felt like he really cared that we were making the decisions that would most benefit us. He talked with us genuinely for as long as it took. Thanks, Cole! The first customer service rep that worked with my husband and I two months ago to roll my husband's account over to AT&T either lied to us, is unintelligent, was not trained properly in current company promotions, or all of the above. This employee: 1. Told us that a current promotion at the time was for $150 in free accessories if we spent at least $150. We spent $163, thinking we would be billed the difference ($13); nope, there was no promotion of this kind going on at all. We now get to pay off the $163 in accessories that we didn't even need over 6 months! 2. Convinced us to do a 'buy one get one free' promotion where both my husband and I would get new phones, with one of them being free. I didn't need a new phone, but he insisted that it would be no extra cost to us. All he had to do was set up a 'ghost' line for the new phone for me. Now we are stuck paying for monthly charges for this 'ghost' line that we don't even use on a phone that we didn't even need!!!!! I discovered all of this today when I went back into the store to sort out my bill. The customer service rep that I worked with today and her manager were of little help and had no empathy. They said they couldn't do anything to fix either of these errors, instead they gave me a 1-800 number to call. Apparently they have not been trained with the first basic lesson of customer service - THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!! This store sucks. Stay away from here!!! Be careful when working with AT&T - my husband and I recently were blatantly lied to and ripped off by this store and now the company overall. Three months ago, my husband, daughter and myself went to the AT&T store in Bridgeport Village to upgrade their two phones (both lines were available for upgrade). While working with the sales associate, he told us about this great new program that AT&T has called the Next Program that allows you to upgrade after 12 months vs. 24. We asked what the details or other parameters were and he said nothing, it just lets people upgrade sooner. We asked specifically (multiple times) if there was any difference in cost. He outright said no every single time. He also told us that as an added benefit, we did not need to pay the upgrade fee that day but that he could have it added to our bill and amortized over a few months. After asking in many ways what else this program involved and trying to figure out why AT&T would do this with no other "catch" or change compared to the regular program but getting no information that suggested there was any other difference, we decided to do that. I knew our bill would be a bit higher for a couple of months so didn't think about it but this last Friday I decided to look closely at the bill and found that there is, in fact, a big difference in price. We are being charged $27 per phone per month for 20 months. That works out to being $540 per phone. The normal upgrade would have been $199 per phone plus a $36 upgrade fee per line. The price essentially is more than $300 higher per phone with the new program. At first, I thought it was an error so I called AT&T and they explained this to me. I told them the story about when we upgraded and how we asked so many times if there was a difference in price and every time we were told no. I told them we would never have agreed to pay this much more simply for the ability to upgrade after 12 months. I asked to have these two lines (we have 5 lines on our account) switched to the regular program with a 2-year commitment and the lower price but they refused. I talked to 3 people that day and they all refused, including a supervisor. I went into the Bridgeport Village store yesterday and spoke with a manager and she also refused to change it back for us. She, like the supervisor on the phone, explained they could have done this within the 14-day buyer's remorse period but not now. I explained that this is not a case of buyer's remorse but a case of buyer got lied to and ripped off. When I asked what I would be charged if we chose to cancel our service with AT&T, the cost is $1500. So, now we are being held hostage by AT&T. AT&T tries to explain the benefit by saying that we can upgrade after 12 months and not have to pay the remaining 8 months of the phone charge but we would still have never made that decision. My husband had his last phone for 3 years so he does not need to upgrade after 1 year that badly. read more
