A busy store very well staff but with a strange dynamic whereby you literally are left to your own devises and the help comes from on screen. The only advantage of coming to the store rather than purchasing on line???? Very little to known as the comparative experience is very limited along with stock. All sales reps look stressed out and are on the next purchase before you have time to say boo. Not a pleasant experience. You will go for the products which are just way above all else but not for the lack of human approach of the humans in store. I visited the Apple store at Bridgeport Village this afternoon to trade in an old iPad and had an absolutely wonderful experience. I was greeted warmly right at the door and directed to Will for the trade-in. Will was incredibly competent, expertly clearing my device and handling the gift card transition smoothly. What truly stood out was his warm, authentic, and personable nature. We had a delightful conversation, and his enthusiasm for his new role at Apple was genuinely refreshing. Terrible customer service. I came in with a question about why my brand new iPhone was heating up rapidly and draining battery abnormally fast without me even using it or having any apps open and the employee that "helped me" gave ZERO helpful advice and was honestly very disrespectful to my girlfriend and I. All of his remarks and comments were snarky and seemed to be aimed to make me look stupid or uninformed when I was simply trying to find out what was wrong with my phone. They should rethink their hiring process because I will not be coming here again and I will be informing everyone I know of this pointless inconvenience. read more

Kind of wow. First, they gave summer camp where kiddos can do fun stuff like filming! My son came this summer and I found out we could put him in camp for 1.5 hours to film a short movie about friendship! It looked so cool, the instructors were so helpful and friendly. My kid kept asking to do more camp at Apple. Second time around a few weeks later we wanted to utilize the promotion for those in education, there was a $179 credit an apple pen, ear buds etc. we needed a new iPad anyways and we're waiting to trade in our old one plus my Apple Watch. Because we had to wait for my Apple Watch to be fully charged Sage had to step away. After some time my watch finally charged enough to turn on and I started looking for Sage. A gentleman that wasn't working with me and didn't check me in saw me searching and said "it turned on?" How did he know??? The customer service here is spot on, the team work and communication between team members (from the perspective of the customer) was everything you'd want from a business. The trade in of both my iPad and Apple Watch plus the promo really helped our shopping bag today, excellent value. read more

Well this was a LONG and extremely painful time at the Apple Store. I NEVER thought it would take so long. Granted I could have made an appointment but SHEESH nevertheless it took AGES. It took ages for the appointment once we did get seen and I still didn't have everything resolved. The specialists were good but I STILL had issues to deal with AFTER my several hour long stint here. Generally I've had good experiences at this store but today was different. I showed up early for my genius appointment. They checked me in and showed me to a seat. A half hour went by and no one spoke to me to give me an update. There were other people being helped and the Apple employees seemed to be doing their best not to look at me. I had spent a couple of hours trying to fix the problem with my new iPhone and spent 40 minutes with online support trying to solve the problem. They then sent me to the Genius Bar. After waiting 30 minutes past my appointment I decided to leave. The good news was that in that time I kept working on my phone and solved the problem. I'm a genius. I also wanted to get help on the trade in but I decided I could figure out that on my own. A total waste of my time. read more

We drove almost an hour and went into the Bridgeport Apple store with our Ipad mini in hand. We were told the battery could be changed for $119 so we said yes. They had no appointments so we set one up for the next day. We arrived on on time for our next day appointment. We were helped within a few minutes. We were told this time, no we can't change the battery on the ipad mini. We will keep it and give you a $25 credit towards buying a $500 new one!! What the heck??? Totally different story and a waste of several hours of our time and gas money. I am disguised at the poor customer service at this loaction. And the employee didn't apologized or offer any explaination. Shame on you Apple. We currently have Apple computers, phones and Ipads but this has really upset us, and maybe we need at look at other companies for our future purchases. Very Unhelpful. When my husband and I arrived on a weekday morning, this store was fully staffed as every customer was being helped. They immediately greeted us as soon as walked in. We took advantage of the Black Friday sale, which included a gift card with eligible purchases. I placed my order online, and the pick up experience for our iPhone 15 was easy and efficient. I used one of the gift cards on USB-C accessories, which were conveniently in the pick-up section. I didn't know I had to add the gift card to my Apple Wallet instead of just showing the email code. I received several error messages when I tried to add it. The Apple employee walked me through the process as we tried a few things for it to finally work. I prefer buying my iPhones at an Apple Store because of the 5 star customer service. They consistently made sure we left with all our questions answered. We are happy with our new phones. read more

I have been locked out of my phone so I came to get help today, waited two hours for my appointment, then came back, was ignored as others who walked in were instantly helped. The support guy then plugged in my phone and walked away. Then my phone kept freezing as I tried to log in, waited another five minutes for him to come back; and was then told "it's just so busy in q4". If you need help here consider bringing a man. Absolutely awful customer service. Purchased a defective product they refused to replace stating it was purchased elsewhere (authorized retailer), which is in violation of the Apple Care warranty. The employees themselves could not even figure out the issue. The manager, David, is a condescending mansplainer who will tell you what he would do while not following the policies of the company he works for and refuses to provide contact information for his supervisor (another company violation.) Stay away from this store for sure and maybe Apple in general. read more

Went in looking to find a solution to the iPhone camera bump interfering with the built in qi charger in my new Prius. Multiple employees told me it was an issue with the car and recommended I contact the dealer. The phone won't make contact with flat chargers due to the camera bump making it impossible for the phone to lay flat. I told them repeatedly that Android phones have no issue in my car and my phone has no issue with elevated, round MagSafe chargers. Still they insisted I contact my dealer for warranty issues and insisted I probably just wasn't lining the phone up properly. A $1200 phone that won't work with my car's charger. I told the employees repeatedly that I'd rather not switch and buy a new Android and they repeatedly stated that's my only solution. read more

I had an appointment and showed up on time and checked in. After waiting 45 minutes and seeing customers that arrived after me getting helped, I asked where I was on the list. The person that greeted me and supposedly checked me in, had not did it properly. When they finally got to me, the service went well and quickly. My advice, make sure they document your presence and make sure you are on the list before they send you to a table to wait. A 45 minute delay is unacceptable, especially when you have an confirmed appointment. read more

My first experience here was on a Release weekend. As you can imagine it was incredibly crowded and without an appointment I was not even going to be able to get in the store. However, one of their very friendly and helpful associates told me that I could Purchase the product online and have Uber Eats deliver it to me at my home within a couple of hours. She then also let me know how I could handle my trade-ins the following week and still have the credit applied to my purchase. Very friendly. Very helpful. Well they have everything in stock it seems. What I did not like at all was being passed between three salesmen. I had to explain myself three times in detail. I was there to buy and knew a fair amount. But I am not an expert and made that clear. I felt sort of passed off as not that important and I actually really tried to connect to the second guy. I think this is just part of the Apple Store process and I really don't like it. The final guy was a rookie and had issues. I didn't get everything I had planned. read more

Customer service is important when running a business. Helping a customer find a solution to the problem they are having is usually a good way to conduct business. In my case , I went in to the store to inquire about my AirPods Pro that was purchased about a year ago. The case is not working/charging. They looked it over and tell me I need to buy a new case. The sales staff also told me that I am using the wrong charger. I told her, that's weird, I bought the charger from this store. I asked specifically for a charger to set my device on so I did not wear out the charging port. She told me the charging ports do not ware out and the charger I had with me is wrong and they don't even sell that. I told her again, I walked in to this store specifically and bought this charger as I wanted to be sure I had the correct charger for my AirPods. I am attaching the pictures from Apple website with the charger I purchased from this store showing it is the correct charger I can use. Also my husband went over at looked at the wall of chargers, and my charger is on their wall for items available to purchase. I was a little frustrated by the fact that an Apple product that is only a little over a year old is no longer working. I was bothered by the price, but then agreed to the price of $89.00. I paid for the new case and when I was getting ready to leave I asked the staff member for my old case back as she was picking it up. She told me I could not have my old case. I did not understand why I could not have my case. They told me it was the way the do it. If I buy a new case I have to exchange the old case. I said no, I did not ask for an exchange, I was told I need to buy a new case and I did. I paid originally $249.00 for my AirPods and I am not giving them the old case, I paid for it and it is mine. They said no, you signed an agreement when you bought the new case, it's in the writing. I asked for the manager. The manager Justin comes over and tells me this is how it is done. No way to keep my old case. I told the manager, then someone should have said that this transaction is an exchange. I said there is no way I can keep my case, and they kept insisting no I cannot keep my old case. I then told them to reverse the order, I will not be exchanging my old case. I told them this was bullshit. The manager then said I was making his staff member uncomfortable. Well what about the customer. I was very uncomfortable buying a new case, but yet telling me I had to give them my old case. They told me they needed the old case to go back to the manufacture for repair. Funny thing is, I don't get the repaired version, they will probably just turn around and sell it to someone else, making twice the sale. I asked to speak with the person about the manager and that was not possible. In leaving the store I asked for a business card, which they do not have. They also do not give out last names, which is fine. The manager was Justin. After getting home I looked online on the Apple website. I can purchase a new Airpod case for 99.00 and have it shipped to the store for pickup , or ship directly to my home. The website does not mention anything about exchange. We called Apple, and guess what. You can buy a case without exchanging your old case. Why would the manager at the store not tell me this. Why would he not explain that I could buy a whole new case without exchange. I asked several time , Is there no way I can just buy a case. The answer every time was no, that is not possible, when you buy a case you have to turn in your old one. I do not recommend shopping at the Bridgeport Apple Store. Maybe the sales team and manager needs to learn more about how purchases work and that Apple "does" allow you to buy a new case without exchange. Absolutely abhorrent--these seem like the only appropriate words! The experience just had was of being ignored, lectured, lied, talked down to, rudely handled, talked over, etc. I barely said two sentences to some of these people--pickup up a phone from being repaired! But they were so terribly rude! I said is this the same phone, and the woman said "I just went over that" -- sweetheart, you walked up to me and said can I see your ID and then placed a form I front of me and said "sign this", then said OK thanks bye! You explained nothing whatsoever about my phone! When I was told to "hang around the store" since my phone wasn't ready on time (I already had to wait and entire extra day), and I thought out of courtesy to see if there was any "MagSafe" accessories, like uh, batteries, the man who can up to me talked over me and said "here are all our wallets". I said again yes I see I am looking for batteries. "Oh apple stopped making those". Yes, I believe it. Truly, there's no need for the people here to be so rude. It is also a ridiculous lie that a "wallet" is a MagSafe accessory. The only thing you can do with a MagSafe is charge! So the only applicable accessory would be a charger! In short, there seems to be a culture of lying and being rude at this location, and at the company at large! Sadly, it makes for a very unpleasant experience! Avoid at all cost! If f you are considering buying into apples ecosystem, and you haven't yet--don't! It's not worth the horrible treatment! A flip phone is nicer anyways!
