Horrible experience. The Tustin Store misrepresented the options. They told me I could cancel without charge within 2 weeks without penalty and any charge. This was untrue. The service was horrible and not acceptable. I was told later when I called to cancel I would have needed to cancel on a couple of days. Ed and Chris at this location are awesome! I received a replacement phone and was having issues with the SIM. In one day I went to an AT&T store and spent over an hour on two different phone calls to customer service for help. No one could help me. At 8pm I walked into this location desperate because I could not use my phone all day and didn't know what to do. Ed and Chris problem solved like pros and were very friendly, professional and patient. I am so grateful they quickly figured out the problem and got my phone working again. We went to this store back in Feb. they tricked us the deal of buy one get one free iPhone plus $100 reward if we signed up Direct TV. We did it. But At&t never gave one free phone instead only 50% and No $100 reward either. We called att so many times and they accepted the errors and set up a case number but never ever resolved the issue even today in October! So do not believe At&t promotion deals! read more

I'm resubmitting this review, because for some reason Yelp took down my LEGITIMATE review. So let's get this straight, Yelp review team: WE. DID. GO. TO. THIS. LOCATION. I have receipts and even a photo to prove it. Now, down to business. The woman named Marisa who we were stuck with was horrible. This person did not care about anything, had a HORRIBLE attitude, and because of her rotten customer service, we almost walked out instead of buying an iPhone 7. Fortunately, we were helped by someone else, a guy named Tam, (when we encountered a problem that she couldn't solve right away), and he was awesome. So, sorry, negative stars for a horrible experience. This location really needs to screen their people better. NEVER GOING BACK THERE AGAIN. p.s. -- Even the awesome guy tried to get us to buy a phone protector -- but he just said, "OK, now let's get an awesome cover" instead of ASKING us if we wanted it. I've never had worse service at a phone store than by a female named Jaselle at this ATT branch. She could have cared less to help either me or my wife, and when we finally pinned her down, she didn't know what she was talking about in regard to the products (but pretended like she did--nothing shows ignorance more than pretending you know something that you don't, just to upsell a product that doesn't fit a customer's needs!). Jaselle acted like my wife was a complete imbecile for not understanding all the subtle and not-so-subtle details of how the new iPhone works. She point-blank refused to answer questions and actually told her to go "figure it out." Who does that?!? I don't know why ATT has employed such a person at their store. This young woman seemed personable at first, but don't let that fool you! (She actually seemed more concerned with her looks and flirting with the guys in the store than actually WORKING.) Once we actually wanted HELP from her in possibly purchasing phones and upgrading our packages, she was completely put out and clearly did not want to put out one ounce of effort. It was "close to break time, you know!" With every question we asked, there was a lot of eye rolling and a very thick attitude of, "Every customer in here is a bunch of idiots, and why must I have to waste my time helping these imbeciles?" Nope, customer service was not Jaselle's strong point, and I suggest she find other employment if that's going to be her attitude. I noticed that a lot of the other negative reviews mentioned this same snotty woman who should NOT be working with the public. Laziness, attitude, and incompetence seem to be a running theme at this particular ATT store. My advice to ATT in Tustin would be to HIRE the right people, then TRAIN them, and then VET them for customer service and positive attitudes. I recently lost my smart phone on Mother's Day and I want to replace it with something similar or better, so I went to AT&T on El Camino Real store they suggested that I need to get a same smart phone but only two year newer and better. So I did, after all the agreement I went home and download an app called" "telguard home control" guess what? It doesn't work. I took a trip back to the AT&T and stay for two hours and told them why the apps is not working? The sale man was great he try to do everything to get the Telguard app working, after several try he couldn't get it work, so we ask for the manager. We have wait it for the manager for 30 minutes finally he comes out and talk to us, his name is Christian, the manger!!!! kid me not, this guy was a joke, he totally clues less what we have asking or explaining to him, and then he told me, if I don't like the phone I can return it with $35 dollars stocking fee, I just had the phone over night. I told him are you f@&$ing kidding me? I just bought this phone last night and the app is not working, he then told me as long as you can make a phone call and take pictures the phone is working fine. After the all the discuss, he " Christian" then told me nothing he can do for me, the phone is working perfectly fine to him. Either except the $35 dollars restocking or buy another phone. This is not a manger after all, to me an manager is ones who's understand your customer or customer's frustration, to me he is lack of training, and he acting like he know is all....... NOT....... After all that being said, we left the store the sale's man said sorry he tried everything he could to help us, BUT the manager "Christian" didn't say a word, not even good night, thanks, am sorry, or see you later. Came in to figure out how to reduce our monthly costs. We were told to upgrade to all new iPhone 12s so we did. We ordered three new phones AND added a line onto our account. As with our past experiences they messed it up. They ordered three incorrect phones (how is it that hard?!) We came to return them and were told "I don't have to help you" because we were upset and immediately wanted to talk to a manager. We got the manager (Carl) after a 10 minute wait inside the store. He returned the phones and proceeded to refund us for the deposit and instead CHARGED our card. Now we are out the three new phones, didn't get a lower monthly rate, were told we couldn't get the promotion again AND were charged more money instead of refunded. Will have to go back to the store to get this "fixed" and to see how else they can mess up our account. read more

Huuuge shout out to Quang "Michael" Nguyen!!! This guy is stellar. I was porting two cellular phone lines from T-Mobile over to a corporate AT&T business account and needed help doing it. Michael knew exactly what to do and how to do it and he made it seamless, even though T-Mobile tried to mess it up by failing to unlock the phones in a timely manner. Owning my own business I am highly sensitive to customer service. Michael was professional, knowledgeable and efficient. AT&T is very lucky to have a guy like this working for them. The first time, the customer service rep was a bit shady...he added two insurance plans onto my account without asking for my permission. After that, I lost a lot of respect for AT&T. Horrible service. Took over a year and 8 visits to get my refund. Also, I was recently there and they told they couldn't swap out my insured case because it was past the warranty period. They didn't tell me about the warranty period when selling me the $35 case (which sells on amazon for $8!). All they seemed to mention was "if it ever breaks, just bring it in and we'll swap it out." liars and thieves. Do not give your money to att. Glad as ever I'm switching to Verizon. You should too. But still left a sour taste in my mouth: Found out I accidentally cancelled LESS THAN A MONTH too early from my 2 year contract, and was assessed $95 early termination charge. I thought the termination fee was pro-rated, but the ATT rep called it a "declining" termination fee (not pro-rated). "Yes, the penalty started at $325.00 and declines by $10.00 monthly, the final month ends with $95.00." Understand the rep couldn't do anything this time (totally my fault) but consistent horrible customer service, service, coverage, and speeds. Good ridance ATT!.. Have Verizon now for a month and from day one I've overly thankful I've switched. Not only does it work, I've been humbled by the horrible service and coverage of ATT! This store is full of a incompetent employees who don't know what they're talking about. We spoke to 4 different employees that all told us wrong information and wasted our day. We explained to Veronica on the phone that we needed someone to turn on our data (since we just switched a sim to a new phone). She said very shortly "just come in and I'll help you." We go in and ask for Veronica, and this other guy insists on helping us. Then we needed to be authorized on the account- so we handled that. Went back in and someone else offered to help. He immediately told us that he couldn't help us because our phone needed to unlocked. (Mind you he told us this without even looking at the phone to see if it worked!! (It was a paid off phone from Verizon). He told us we NEEDED to go to Verizon. So we drove to Verizon only to find out Verizon doesn't lock their phones. So we drive back to the store and a different person "helped" us and tried to give us the same run around, at the same time being extremely arrogant and talking loudly at us. And he said the phone should work we just have to call customer service to get the VPN no.. called customer service and the bimbo transferred our call to Apple care for a galaxy phone!!! Infuriating. Called again and spoke to someone else who finally gave us the APN information and we were set. Basically we didn't even have to leave our house to get the data turned on. But because Veronica told us to come in (probably to try to sell us stuff, knowing full well she wouldn't be able to help us) we wasted an entire day. AT&T is ridiculous and needs to do a better job training their employees. We should be reimbursed by how much unnecessary time and gas we wasted. read more

Weasel sales guy signed us up for insurance and support contracts even after we specifically said no to both (we provided our own devices) and I spent multiple 45 minute calls to AT&T to undo it all. You may have padded your commission once, but you lost a customer forever. read more

Their idea of customer service is to say things like "oh yes, we made a mistake so you'll have to pay for our mistake every month until we get around to crediting back your account." This is not customer service - customer service is the store calling someone for approval for an immediate credit back to the account. Finally on the...hmm, third or fourth visit...when we said we have had enough and are leaving for T-Mobile they said "well you can call the Loyalty number first to see if they can do anything for you." Again, what happened to "let us help you"? Every time it's been "you need to wait" or "you need to talk to someone else". The store manager claimed she did her "due diligence" in submitting the request to correct our bill but when I called Loyalty, the representative said there was no request ever submitted and got her manager involved. We are paying off our new phones and moving to T-Mobile as soon as I hang up with Loyalty. I am typing this while on hold, as they are now confirming that our 50%-off discount was even legit in the first place. If there is no resolution from this call, I will be logging back in and listing the names of all of the store employees who have lied to our faces over the past 3 months, in the hopes that AT&T corporate will pay attention. Update: As promised, I am back because Loyalty first tried to put it back on us by saying "why did YOU choose the unlimited plan because there is another similar plan that is $30 less that allows for your discounted rate." Once we explained that Steve reviewed our usage and recommended this plan and conveniently forgot to say that the discount doesn't apply to unlimited plans, and told her of all the other errors and lack of customer service that occurred during the store visits when we spoke with Steve, Noah and then the blonde female store manager whose name I have forgotten, the Loyalty rep sent our case up to her supervisor and said we will receive a resolution within two business days. We shall see. Update one week later: we have never heard another word from AT&T even though we got an email confirming they would provide a resolution by Tuesday 6/12. We just paid off our phones a few days ago and just got them unlocked, so we are walking over to the T-Mobile store to sign up there. read more

AT&T has very bad coverage in Tustin and parts of Irvine. I would highly recommend checking out Verizon or T Mobile if you live in Tustin or Irvine. I also had issues with them adding extra money to my bill every month. I have not had one dropped call with Verizon ever. There are parts of Tustin that my phone would be completely out of service for phone calls, data, and even texts. read more

The very last time I visited an ATT store was 3 years ago. The sales rep was rude, desperate and annoying, so I had my guard up high going into this one. My iPhone 3GS died on me a couple days ago and since I've been anxiously waiting for the new iPhone 5 for more than 2 years, I wasn't too fond of the idea of getting a 4s now. I explained my concern to my sales rep. Rosa and she patiently figured a way out for me to get a new iPhone 4s now and still be eligible to get the new one when it comes out this October, so I happily walked out of the store with my new 4s that morning. I went back to the store later that afternoon because my phone was acting kind of slow and I needed a case, and this time I was helped by Tin. He patiently switched my sim card and introduced me to Mophie, the battery case, which I can't live without now. If you are looking for a friendly and professional experience, I'd definitely recommend Tin and Rosa. read more

I walked into the store and was immediately approached by Jason. Let's just say, this guy was on it from the start. He took the time to understand what I wanted and was helpful every step of the way. Jason, not only very knowledgable, but will listen to any problems you're having with your service and doing everything in his power to correct them. A week or two after I purchased my new phone, I had issues with dialing out. Jason spent about a half hour cracking the case, considering this was a rarity in the phone world, and finally got me on my way. He's the type of employee more employers should be hiring.
