He also asked for a physical copy of our social security card and previous W2, which I did not think we had to show to get a new phone plan. He called someone on their phone and then she gave us an issue about it, so we just ended up walking out. I'm glad we did because we reached out to another larger Verizon store and they said we definitely should not be giving them our social security card and W2 form. Do not go here for anything!
