It's like a superstore with furniture, outdoor chimneys, large pots, outdoor patio sets, household items, mirrors, pillows, storage items, and just about everything you could imagine for the home. They were closing down at the time so I decided to go in to see what they had available to avoid the possible issue of not buying something when it was open. Their discount prices were not up to date since what the item scanned for on their price scanner did not match the discount I received when I paid, but the item I bought cost the same as at Daiso after the discount anyway so I'm fine with it. Their selection was limited but at least I found something I could use. There was a lot of parking remaining at the time. read more

Nice home goods store that offers a variety of items for your home and garden as well as the occasional seasonal items to furnish your home. There are a lot of accessories to decorate your home both inside and out, but not much offerings when it comes to furniture as one would think by the title of the store. I remember seeing some outdoor furniture, couches, and some tables and chairs, but that's about it. Otherwise there are a lot of kitchen items, lamps, vases, laundry room items, candles, garden pots and frames. They have a nice, clean, organized large, spacious store over in Foothill Ranch, Lake Forest. I think I take a browse through this store on average once or twice a year when looking for a specific item or two. My most recent purchase Included a large ironing board and padded cover, which they beat out the selection from both Target and the Walmart Superstore. I can't say that I'll be back anytime soon, but may peruse through once again when it's time to revamp my plants and garden area. read more

What doesn't At Home carry? Round cushions, that's what. I could not believe that with everything that was in this store, I was unable to find the specific cushion I was after. At Home is akin to shopping at Amazon in person, which is why I was so disappointed they did not have my cushion. This place has everything you never knew you needed. Help! My wife is holding me hostage in At Home! What started as "I just want to look around for a minute" turned into well over an hour of aisle browsing and purchasing two planters and a couple of kitchen storage containers. When I walked in I was overwhelmed with this warehouse style home accessory store. It is very organized and has plenty of inventory. Aside from lamps you won't find anything that plugs into a wall socket here but plenty of cookware & kitchen gadgets, pillows (several aisles, organized by color), rugs, mirrors, framed pictures, candles, clocks, chairs, end tables, patio furniture... Some prices were great and others just what you'd expect. Cashiers seemed to keep the line moving quickly and were very cheerful. A great spot to look for home decor and related stuff as an alternative to the nearby Walmart, Target or Hobby Lobby. read more

Finally was around the Laguna area and decided this was the best chance to check out the At Home that is closest for socal. It was a lot further in from the 5 freeway exit than it seemed, but the road was pretty empty so not much stress to arrive at the giant shopping area in the middle of nowhere (to me, lol)! I was kind of scared as soon as I walked in, since wife was trying to decide which direction to start walking, while I stood by with kid trying to figure out where to direct the browsing. The store is huge as expected, but more than physical size, the selections of items was quite amazing. Thought to myself if you do not find something you like in a category you came for, I don't know where else you can go. Was worried we would easily spend 2 hours there and end up with late dinner, but wife took a general stroll around and ended up with just a few items. The left side of the store has all the interesting decor items with the massive selections. The right side had the bigger furniture/lawn type of items. If short on time, my suggestion is to come with at least a specific "category" in mind and head straight for that section to check out all the different style available. The only improvement I can think of as a cheapskate, was to have clearer "sales" sections within each category, since I usually only do impulse buys if items are on sale. I looked for the Red tag (50%) and Green tag (25%) but did not find too many (or missed them from not examining each item for the price tag). But then with the selection of items available, I guess it's not easy to relocate all the different shapes/sizes of sales into a certain sales section within the category. Several items I purchased had a blank white tag placed over the original price printed on tag/packaging, with a new higher price tag (approx +10% increase) layered on top. One item (mistakenly) had a LOWER price tag over the original and of course rang up incorrectly at a higher price. Brought it to cashier's attention and they made a big deal out of it but honored the price on the tag. Long line at checkout, no employees on the floor to assist customers. read more

Seriously - Christmas in July!! ( I know, I know, this post is a little late) I love Christmas and all holiday things, so I was loving it when I first stopped by and saw all their holiday stuff. They have a phenomenal holiday decor selection - it's better that Michaels. They have something for every type of theme you can think of. I love it!!! Slightly disappointed that they don't reduce the holiday stuff by much, or very quickly - still all only at 60% off. I recently popped into At Home on a day I didn't have a lot of time to look around. I had heard about this place from my sister-in-law and I intentionally just went in with no shopping cart, so I would not be tempted to load up on stuff, because I knew this place had a lot of items for sale. That is kind of an understatement because this place is full of everything from mirrors, rugs, lamps, towels, sheets, bath and kitchen items, storage bins, outdoor fountains, patio furniture and so many home decor items like candles, vases, artificial plants, wall decor, etc., etc., etc. I did leave the place with a few purchased items, though. ;) I could literally spend hours and drop a fortune here. This place took over the location that was in the past a furniture store and Sports Chalet so the space is very large. They have a store rewards program that you can sign up for for discounts and rewards upon shopping and use of program. The girl at the check out counter that helped me was very nice. I believe this is the only location in Southern CA so far, but I overhead staff members mentioning a floor plan of a store in San Diego. Some of prices seemed like straight retail but there were a lot of great prices on many items. I definitely will be back when I have more time. It is a verywelcome addition to Foothill Ranch/Lake Forest area. read more

Huge space of home decor, furniture, carpet & rugs, and miscellaneous items. A great place to shop to fill out a new home. I prefer to shop brick and mortar if possible and this place is near work. I appreciate having a store like this to peruse. It's great fun. Prices are not relatively low, as they need to cover their overhead. However, I'll be coming back as they have a great selection of tasteful items. I just purchased some decorative flowers and a few bathroom items, for example. Inflation blues! I purchased a 8x10 low-pile rug at this store with a hefty sticker price of $299.99. When I got home, I unrolled the rug and found the original sticker retail price was $259.99. I called the store to find out if i'd been mistakenly overcharged, and was told it was due to inflation - and if I wasn't happy, I could return it for a full refund. Good location and very convenient. Huge store and can be very overwhelming since the place is PACKED. They do a really good job keeping the place clean and staffed. Usually, I try to go in with intentions to buy 1-2 things, and always walk out with way more than I originally planned for (forgetting what I came here for in the first place). You pretty much can find absolutely anything you need for your home, and I've been really pleased with the purchases I've made (decor and storage items). I only have 2 pieces of feedback for AtHome: 1) The organization of the area rugs. It is hard to find the rugs to purchase, since they aren't really adjacent to their matching displays. 2) I also recommend that they present all the clearance products in one location in the store. The store is huge and overwhelming as it is, and trying to find good deals is tough since it's all mixed in with the regular priced items. I just don't see this store making it. It's way overpriced. I went in for a rug runner that showed in stock. The rugs are completely unorganized. I asked an associate to help me find it. I had never heard of this store before, but I am a member of the Facebook Group for "Gothic themed home decor" and everyone on there was posting pictures of all of their Halloween decor that they found at/purchased from At Home. Then I remembered that they were opening this one next to Walmart in Foothill Ranch. The first time that I ever ran inside to look, I was soooo amazed with just how HUGE the store was and how much really cool stuff they had!!! I took a BUNCH of photos to send to my mom (she's never been to an At Home Store either) and we ended up going back (with a lot more money than the first time) twice! Each time they were putting out more and more of their (AMAZING) Halloween Decor! We knew that there wasn't another At Home in the area, so we knew that their stuff would be gone quickly. So we wanted to get it right away when they put it out. Thank god, because we were right! Things FLEW off their shelves in the very first week that they stocked their shelves with it! I have been in the store and found the prices to be high. I would find something and the price was on the item and crossed out with a higher price put on the item. In talking to a clerk I was told the prices were lower when they first opened to get customers.
