Cheap eats, good value. Ramen and Bento each $10. Better than grocery store quality at grocery store prices lol Ramen has everything exempt pork slices which is what you expect at that price point. Mild has a kick but not too spicy! Bento is good value. The fried chicken is crispy and not dry

Clean restaurant, great prices, delicious food, and amazing staff. Their karaage chicken is so tender and juicy. I also recommend their crispy and flavorful gyoza! I always feel welcome and enjoy dining here!

I can't describe how happy I am to see At Home Kitchen back in business. I was devastated when their Gardena location closed down, since I used to get their bentos for lunch every other day. The staff were so friendly and the food was always on point - reminded me of my grandma's home cooking. When I heard that they opened back up, 4 mins away from my apartment in DTLA I couldn't believe it! We had to try their food that day to celebrate. Our order: Crispy Chicken Karaage Bento - the chicken was so flavorful and juicy, rice is perfectly firm just as I remember it! Teriyaki Chicken Bento - tender, moist chicken with a delightfully sweet teriyaki sauce. The portions were pretty substantial for a $10 meal and the food definitely hit the spot for us! I hope that they can start expanding their menu to their daily bentos and sushi items again, since they were my absolute favorite! I will continue to support At Home Kitchen and hope they can stay in DTLA permanently!

The classics like Niki Udon, Kitsune Udon, and Curry Udon are incredible staples that stand the test of time and simply hold their own. But if there's any restaurant to enjoy the classics and dip into a little fusion cuisine, THIS is a place you should add to your bucket list. Their creamy mushroom udon is phenomenal. Mushrooms are delicately seasoned and cooked correctly, the texture of the noodles have a perfect bounce/chew to them, and that cream sauce? Addicting. This place has this distinct homey comfort type of vibe to it. The restaurant's decorations aren't too over the top. Most importantly, it's such a clean establishment. In my experience, the servers here are a bit soft-spoken. But they're polite and very knowledgeable about the menu. I look forward to trying more dishes off the menu!

My sea urchin udon has an adequate amount of sea urchin. The duck udon has a few slices of duck unlike dishes like Bun Mang Vit or Mi Vit Tiem where there is a whole thigh and other meat portions. At least the meat here is deboned so non-Asians can eat Service is fast and food comes out immediately. I was in and out within 40 minute. I will come back eventually for something else but not in a while.

The halibut sashimi was fresh and delicate with a great balance from the mango salsa and ponzu. My personal favorite of the night was the miso glazed sea bass from the kushiyaki course. The fried onions on top of the Tokyo roll were crispy and sweet. Uni was fresh and delicious!
