Cute, small restaurant with super friendly staff. Very clean and professional. The broth was the best part, a blast of flavor! I've been to "fancier" places that cost a lot more, almost double the price, and I have to say this is just as good!

This place was so good after a long day in LA. After our event we walked over to this spot and it did not disappoint. The decor is fun and the service is very friendly. It was very warm in there, no air flow, no fans, no ac. After ordering an ice water and sitting still for a moment we were able to cool down. Ordering is simple and easy using the QR code in the table. Everything came out delicious and I was so full. I added the soft boiled soy sauce injected egg to my spicy tonkatsu ramen and it was great.

Not too familiar with the area as we were in town for the 2025 Comic Con, we decided Ramen was the main entree for tonight's dinner and made a quick call to this ramen shop, about 5 mins walking distance from our parking spot. Called ahead to see if there's any seats and was delighted to know that around 6-7pm the seats/table is pretty open. Took us about 5 mins Divey, chill, relaxed, cool and ambient!! Those are the woods that described this awesome and uplift divey Ramen Shop, "DTLA RAMEN", reminiscent of small shops back in Tokyo Japan. While the chef may not be Japanese, the food is amazing and tastes very delicious as any other chef's ramen. Next time, we'll have to try other items when we're back.

    Highly recommend. Great Broth!

I would rate this place a 4.5 stars. Came here with my co-workers after work. I ordered the regular tonkotsu ramen and loved it. Wish they had the shio ramen, but enjoyed eating the tonkotsu and added the soft boiled egg. Loved how the soup was super hot as I hate eating warm ramen and the noodles were perfect. Not too soft and not too hard. Will come back again to try their Vegan ramen as I heard good things about it.

The ramen was delicious, the service was attentive, and the place was clean with a nice atmosphere. I don't live nearby, but I'll be back when I'm in DTLA

    Katsu curry and umami beer

I've been to DTLA Ramen a few times and have always enjoyed the food, drinks and especially the friendly and helpful staff! Last night, before attending the Orpheum theater, just down the block, I ate a delicious katsu curry and had two umami beers, at happy hour price! Always an enjoyable experience!

The ambiance was great and the service was on point. The food was nothing short of exquisite. It was raining and it felt like a vibe. However , I would give it a 4/5 only due to the parking situation. I had to park 2 blocks away to find parking . I would recommend for others who want a pleasant ramen experience. I paid $70 for a party of 2 the only thing that's not included is the other persons bowl of ramen. Plan ahead for parking if you're going.

Personally would not come back for the food. It wasn't like TERRIBLE, but I've just had a lot better in LA. The waitress was nice though!

I love DTLA Ramen, for being a fast and friendly place that's local where I can get fresh quality vegan food. The service is amazing, the staff is always friendly, and there's always somebody close enough to wave down if you need anything at all. The vibe inside is super cute, and you can tell that a lot of work went into the aesthetic of this place. It is nothing but clean on the inside. If you're in DTLA and need a quick bite, this place is great!

fairly disappointed at this place. i was craving ramen so i stumbled upon this place. went in. interior was nice and had ample seating. server seated my friend and i immediately. we had the poke nachos, spicy tonkotsu ramen, and chasu bowl. the poke nachos were great. we were starving so when we had our poke nachos, we were stoked about how our other food was going to be. when we got our food, we were quite disappointed. presentation-wise, food looked amazing!! taste-wise, the food was bland. ramen tasted watered-down. i asked for a soft-boiled egg and it was $1.5 extra, which in my opinion was not worth, not because of the money but because it just felt like it was a complete different dish from the ramen. the chasu bowl was pretty disappointing too... when my friend and i had the poke nachos again, we realized that it tasted good to us because we were super hungry. tldr; great presentation, disappointing taste. would not waste my money here again.

Super delicious. Great service. Good prices. 10/10 would come again! I had the karaage chicken and tonkatsu ramen.

2 charges from DLTA Ramen. The exact same items were ordered from the "lunch special". The undisclosed up charge was on the 12/04 bill.

To be clear, you really can't go wrong with any of the restaurants on this street and I recommend just going with whichever one has the shortest wait when you show up. Thankfully we only had to wait about 20 minutes and got a table inside. There were 6 of us and they made us squeeze into a booth built for 4 which was a little annoying but we made it work. I ordered their signature Daikoku Ramen which was very flavorful and filling, just wish there had been more meat! My husband got the poke bowl with salmon and tuna which is a great dish for those on the protein grind. The chashu was disappointing: lean and chewy--more like steak found in pho than the tender pork I expected. The wait for a table was long in the hot sun during lunch. And it's still an inconvenient location to get to in terms of parking--little Tokyo is as busy as ever. We had to share a table with some other, really loud patrons. The air conditioning was broken. I got the fried rice, previously one of my favorite side dishes here, but the Yakimeshi rice was too dry and disappointing. I added garlic and soft boiled egg to my ramen. The garlic flakes were too big/strong and overpowered everything. The egg was good. Since the noodles and broth are the most important parts and were both decent, I'd keep this place at around four stars. But there are a lot of other ramen places to try in the area. Original from years ago: Overtook Daikokuya as my favorite ramen place. I love so much about the place except the wait. And the parking, which doesn't validate as long as it used to. But really, the wait is really terrible. I would eat here more often if the wait weren't such an issue.

To wash everything down, I ordered the Mega Sapporo, which arrived perfectly ice-cold and was incredibly refreshing.
