TLDR: Multiple mistakes, delays, poor communication, sloppy, rush job…read more I had so much hope for this place with all the positive reviews. I should have read more into the negative ones before using him. A suit to me is an investment and it's really important that tailors take their job professionally. I came in to The Bespoke Clothier after doing some research as I needed a suit altered for an upcoming wedding. I had 2 weeks before the event which I felt was plenty of time for the job. I made an appointment with Gabriel for a consultation to look at the suit and discuss timing and needs for alterations. No real dressing room, just a closet that you can change in. He looked at my suit and made recommendations for the sleeves to be taken in and shortened and pants let out a bit on the waist. I also asked about adding surgeons cuffs with functional buttons. Gabriel mentioned that it's really easy and they do that all the time but they charge per button. Understandable I said and agreed to the pricing. This was Tuesday and was told that the alterations would be complete by Friday. A busy Friday for me meant a pickup on Saturday which would have been perfect as their posted hours on their website says: Saturday 9am-5pm. When I arrived on Saturday to pick up the suit, the lights were out, door locked and a note posted saying "Flexible Hours" this week and to text a number. I texted the number which replied that they would check with Gabriel on timing and they would communicate back to me a time for pickup. No response through Monday evening and by Tuesday at noon, I was getting a little concerned about lack of communication and timing. I decided to call on Tuesday afternoon and Gabriel picked up and told me the suit will be ready by 3pm that day. I arrived at the shop at 3:30pm with the pants ready and the jacket looking disheveled and unfinished with the buttons popped off one of the sleeves and arms way too long. He said he thought I needed the sleeves lengthened and he marked it incorrectly. He said this is an easy and quick job for the jacket and it will be ready tonight. I decided to give him more time to do a good job and said let me pick up tomorrow afternoon. The next afternoon comes and the jacket looked fine but I noticed that the buttons were not functional. He said he didn't take the correct notes and thought I didn't want that even though I was charged extra per button. Again was told that it was an easy job as he does this "all the time" and he would be the one personally making the functioning buttons. Again was told he could do it tonight and I again gave him extra time to do a nice, clean job. The suit was ready with functioning surgeons cuffs but the workmanship was really poor. Also one of the buttons for the interior pocket was missing. The cut and sewing lines were really sloppy looking and the thread for the buttons were not sewing inside the lining, leaving the button thread visible on the cup to lining. I'm not sure if Gabriel just over promises and has to rush through everything but i think he knows better. Overall a stressful situation being almost a week overdue, multiple mistakes and a seemingly rush job to finish. At the initial meeting, Gabriel was also trying to sell me a custom suit which I was seriously considering at the time. Unfortunately this soured my experience and mindset that he would be capable of making a full bespoke suit.

I brought Gabriel a designer suit that still didn't feel right after store alterations. He was pretty honest--said the best it could become was a 7/10--and then went to work. He adjusted the shoulders, chest, sleeves, lapels, which required him to move every single button. It was literally a completely different suit. And for the first time, it actually fit the way it should. Since then, I've gone back for five custom suits, multiple shirts, and my favorite, an overcoat (which I'd avoided for years because of off-the-rack fit issues). Every item has come out perfectly tailored. If fit has always been a compromise for you, it's worth seeing what Gabriel can do. Adding some photos, but I'm not a fashion/textiles photographer. They are the most comfortable athleisure wear that has me hooked! Vuori is located in on the first floor of Bellevue Square, and has men's and women's apparel. The store is very organized, neat and well-lit. Staff are super friendly and are happy to help find products if what you're looking for isn't on the floor as they have back stock. I personally love the performance joggers. The fabric has elastane, which provides the ability to do all kinds of stretches in these pants, but the form and shape of the pants stays intact. They're the most comfortable pants I own, but also stylish enough to wear out versus just having these as pants to lounge around in or working out in. I own them in multiple colors! It's always tempting to get more products from Vuori whenever I visit this store. It's a great addition to Bellevue Square.

She also suggested a new golf pant , very light weight cotton fabric..did an extra long rise to fit me as am tall, again perfect fit! Great value for the fabrics,service, price and convenience as garments were made and sent to me in less than three weeks. Then I bought one dress shirt from an outlet store, but it turned out that it didn't fit him well despite the size wise was correct. We decided to come to this store to get the right measurements and get the fitted shirts for him. After browsing for a while, we kept seeing big dress shirts but rarely saw any size S shirts. We walked up to an Asian staff (We don't know his name.) who was just helping other customers to see if he could help. After he took care of other customers, he measured my son's neck and arm and let us know the size my son should be wearing. My son was looking for a black dress shirt as now most of his concerts required black shirts and pants. It turned out that those shirts were all sold out, so he brought a different color to let my son try to see if that fit well. The sleeves were a bit long, but only like half inch difference, so we decided to leave them as is and would do alteration if that really bothers my son. He placed an order for a black shirt to ship directly to our house for free. We also got a white tux shirt to go with his tux. The staff explained to us that the studs must be removed before the putting into the washing machine and that at one point those would need to be replaced. I asked to see some studs in case we would need to replace. He helped me find some good deals with those studs. At the end, I asked him to validate the parking ticket. I thought I would get only 2 hours since it says two hour parking at the parking lot. He gave us 4 hours! We were able to swing by some other places without worrying about the parking time limit. My second trip to this store is still pleasant as my last trip for my older son. When we need men's formal wears, this store is definitely my first go-to place.

I was expecting to have to hurry up and return the items, so they could be cleaned and given back. I was shocked when I was told that new tuxedos were going to be ordered based on previous sizes. They offered to take measurements if necessary again. Awesome service, excellent communication and when one of the events was canceled, the manager was responsive in reducing any charges.

They hit the bullseye and now have a return customer pending a successful pickup once the work is done. No sales pressure, but very clear answers to any questions. When they haven't had my size they'll order it for me. if a particular manufacturer is no longer making the pants I want they'll show me what else might be available. And their tailoring is exceptional, Yakov is a master tailor. If I were still working I wouldn't hesitate to have him make my suits and tailor my dress shirts. He's a true gem. The main negative though is that the wait for a fitting room can be a bit long, but paying is snap with the self-service kiosk where you literally dump the clothes into a bin. Also, one really FANTASTIC benefit is that simple alterations like hems for pants can take as little as 20 min! It took longer to walk to Woods coffee, order a drink and come back. Obviously, it won't be 20 min on a super busy day, but still it is super fast compared to Nordies or other stores. Plus it's free! Can't be beat on that.
