I know they partner with Amherst College's film club as well. They host special screenings with talks beforehand. The theaters range from small to super small and intimate, offering a unique viewing experience that no other place in the area can provide. This cinema is ensuring the film doesn't die and that no one is left behind. They were particularly influential in my film journey because of all the international films that they show. They are literally pricing out their customer base. That aside the west Springfield location has a beautiful large building, and it seems clean. Unfortunately the theatre was very cold. It's February, and I would guess the temperature was no higher than 58. I was in a sweatshirt and winter jacket, and it was still chilly. That's my biggest complaint. TIP: If you go to Costco, you can get a 50 dollar gift card for 40 bucks.
