I no longer have the stabbing pain down my legs and walking so much better. The facility is not super fancy but the quality of care that you receive is what's most important.

When I went they were never too busy and the waiting room chairs are extra wide, like could fit two of me wide. I guess if you're a defensive tackle and you need physical therapy, you don't want to be sitting on a folding chair, so that's fair. The staff knows what they are doing, and I had maybe 3 appointments for a bulging disc in my neck. All the staff that I saw were pretty young, so that made me feel good (and old). Eric gave me some home exercises to do including a sheet of paper explaining what to do. It's very clean in there, and they have a great selection of equipment, but not that you can really choose which one you use, because, you know, you're in there for something specific. If I ever need physical therapy again, I'd definitely go back here.

First, this review should be prefaced with my personal background. I am originally from suburban Minneapolis and lived in Wisconsin for the 5 years preceding moving to the DC area in summer 2009. With that said, this is not the medical experience I am used to. They were able to make an appointment for me for a physical exam within a week and I showed up on time at 9am. The waiting room is very small and has green walls with fluorescent lighting. There was no air circulation to speak of, even with this sweltering DC heat wave. Signs typed by the receptionist state "We take walk-ins but the wait can be very long." and "No backpacks or bags in consulting rooms. Keep your valuables." Strange. The only nice thing was that they had Wimbledon on. The first thing the receptionist asks me is "Are you here to see the doctor....medically...or were you in an accident?" This was my first clue I wasn't in Kansas anymore. I assume this place capitalizes on insurance claims from auto accidents. After taking a copy of my license and insurance card (yes, I have insurance what a surprise) I filled out the paperwork. I have to admit I was wary of writing down all of my vital information, including my SSN, for use in this office. I proceed to wait for 45 min while patients with appointments at 9:30 etc are taken before me. Another "nurse" asks private questions of another patient in the waiting room in earshot of others, HIPAA anyone? After waiting this long, I decided this place made me too uncomfortable. I went to the desk where the receptionist replied that she had been waiting on hold for confirmation of the insurance. I said I had changed my mind and wanted all of the forms I filled out returned to me. I took them and left, leaving the woman dumbfounded. I just wanted to be weighed, have the little ear thermometer put in, have my blood-pressure taken, and have the little hammer check my knee reflexes. Alas, this was not to be. I do not recommend this office at all.

They allowed me to schedule all my appointments for the month instead of weekly. Dr. Lubick explained thoroughly what occurred to my body during the accident and the steps we would take to address my pain. He used language I could understand and allowed me to ask questions. You can tell he is passionate about his work. While Dr. Lubick does allow his assistants to do some of the work after the initial 2 visits he did start my visits every time which allowed me to voice any concerns I had about my pain. The facility isn't large but has sectioned private pods for your sessions which some other facilities don't have. In all he is a great doctor would recommend to other.

Will minimize or outright ignore your concerns both in-person/in-office as well as via their patient portal.
