I went here for my birthday dinner after seeing some TikToks of the aesthetic and food. The vibe of the restaurant was great I loved the decor and shows. That being said the service was probably the worst I've experienced on city island. Even though our server was pleasant we waited very long for our food. To make matters worst my ice cream birthday cake was left out of the fridge causing it to melt. To compensate they gave us small "free desserts". We were so angry we took the dessert to go. This place is new, so I don't want to be mean so I won't. The venue itself is surprisingly nice. It has the type of refinement you'd find in a flipped house -- it's pretty good, but you can see where corners were cut. However, I'm not mad at that. The restaurant business is unforgiving, and this is the Bronx, luxury-light is fine with me. The food was decent, nothing bad, nothing sensational. The grilled octopus was well flavored and a little chewy just as I like it. The Parmesan fries were crispy but could have used a little more salt but that's an easy fix. The fried calamari was crisp and not greasy, it could've used some more salt but, again, that's an easy fix. The passion fruit cheesecake was pretty but not memorable. In short, the food was fine, made slightly better by the kind and attentive wait staff. My major complaint with this place is the small portion sizes and steep prices. One has to go, either drop the prices or give me more food. Also, their is a 20% "service charge" added to all bills. The service charge is actually a gratuity and it comes as a surprise at the end of the meal. I don't like that; it seems shady. They should make the gratuity known up front. Other than that, it's a decent place to at least try on City Island. I probably won't return but I'm not mad that I went. read more

Horrible Birthday Experience - Would Not Recommend I had a terrible experience celebrating my birthday here. We were a party of 10 and called the restaurant five separate times beforehand to confirm the reservation and ask all the right questions. Not once were we told that we would be forced to order from a pre-fixe menu. When we arrived, the waiter insisted that due to our party size, we had to order from a limited pre-fixed menu something that was never mentioned during any of our calls. It felt incredibly misleading, and the way it was handled came off as dishonest. To top it off, the bill came out to $1,500 which wouldn't have been a problem if we had actually been able to order the food we wanted. Instead, we paid a premium for an experience that felt forced and disappointing. When we finally asked to speak with the manager, he admitted there were no such rules in place. I would not recommend this place for any group celebration. It was a complete letdown and I wouldn't go back. Save yourself the trouble there are way better spots that treat their guests with honesty and respect. read more

We came across this restaurant on social media. It looked amazing, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it turned out to be all style and no substance. The place definitely photographs well, but that's about where the experience ends. The food came out very fast and had almost no flavor. The mashed potatoes were from a box of instant mashed potatoes. Everything felt rushed and superficial, like the focus was on appearances rather than quality. I went to Atik for a birthday celebration we were a party of 10 we were seated at 9:07 pm. The server bought the drinks and then the appetizers it was quick, needless to say that's when everything went downhill. We didn't get our entrees until 11:10pm after asking 3 different managers where's the food.,The server kept forgetting everything. Just to get limes took 15 minutes. Btw, why don't servers use note pads anymore. The music was too loud you couldn't hear the person next to you. The best part of the place was the ambiance and the servers wishing the guest happy birthday. Personally I will not eat there nor would I refer anyone. This restaurant is a one and done!! read more

The hostess was very rude because we didn't have a reservation. We were told we could only sit at the bar, even though the restaurant was almost empty. To make matters worse, they allowed other people without reservations to be seated at tables. Manhattan prices ......in either direction you can find a restaurant with food & service just as good for a 1/3 of the price. Surprise 20% service fee included when we got the bill. With the amount of money you spend i would expect to walk out full but thats not the case. The Place is just loud I wanted to go to dinner not the club. There is a dress code that they sometimes enforce on the people who are willing listen. Went for dinner on 7/31/25. What a wonderful experience. Very classy and elegant atmosphere. We sat outside on the deck. The seating was so comfortable like sitting in your living room. The menu is on an i-pad and depicts the prices and exactly how your food is presented for you. What a feature to have for a restaurant. Lida was our waitress and was a true professional. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family. Free parking or valet available is always a plus. Upon entering the restaurant, you are greeted not only by a very welcoming maitre d', but also a warm and welcoming space punctuated by marble tiles lit beautifully, plants and flowers and thoughtful decorating pieces. The bar was unique and beautifully lit. The aroma throughout the space was delightful without being overpowering. Our server, Valentina, was knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. We ordered appetizers only: the ratatouille with burrata (excellent), ceviche (also excellent) and the blue fin tuna tartare, which was a bit fishy and when we mentioned it to Valentina, she immediately came back with, according to the chef, a new and different cut of fish and it was amazing!! We ordered a red wine from Greece, which was perfect for our apps - light, yet with some depth. We had a few after dinner drinks which were delicious and artfully crafted. This is by no means a regular night out, it had Manhattan vibes, but is absolutely worth the price. Oh, and they had a show with dancers. Yummy Dinner + a Show! Be prepared to feel transported to Greece at a really fun and fancy restaurant. I went here for the first time for father's day and it exceeded expectation. I knew I'd be going to a fun new water-side restaurant in City Island but I had no idea the performances I'd be in for. The interior design was fun and trendy and I loved the music which was mainly house music. Also, there was a splendid saxophone player that played and walked through the restaurant playing to the music and also his own renditions of famous songs. There were also different dances and performances like fire breathing while we had our dinner. They moved throughout the restaurant so everyone could get a front row view. It was amazing. Now let's get into the cocktails and the food. For my appetizer I had the giant homemade meatballs with ricotta, delishhhh. My dad had the greek salad and devoured it. For the entree, I had the prime NY strip and the potato purée (which is just mashed potatoe). My dad also had the prime NY strip but he opted to stay with the roasted brussel sprouts. I didn't exactly like the brussel sprouts but that's what comes with the steak, I would've preferred asparagus or brocolli perhaps. For the cocktails I couldn't decide so I just asked for the prettiest drink they had and I was recommended the fruity di bosco or moulin rouge. I ended up choosing the fruity di bosco which was pink and had 3 little raspberries on a stick for garnishing. It wasn't watered down at all and it wasn't on the sweet side, more of a true alcoholic cocktail in my opinion. I also tried the One Night in Mykonos cocktail. For the table we also got two bottles of water. The service was great! The waiters were attentive and even brought me a stand to the table to put my handbag on. For dessert, my dad got the pistachio ice cream and I got the mango passionfruit cheesecake. Just for the two of us the bill was exactly $300.23 with everything I mentioned, but with the music, dance and fire performances along with the food/ambience and service I would for sure go back. A server said don't worry I'll bring the drinks to you. Waited another 15 minutes nothing. So our reservation was for 930 we were seated at 940 and our order taken at 945. After waiting for a while we asked our waiter for our drinks he's excuse was they were backed up. We then asked a manager who finally was able to get our drinks a house later. Mind you we are only a party of 2. We then received our appetizers of a crab cake and tuna tartare at 1045. The tartare was good and the crab cake ok. We then sat again until midnight till we received our main entrees of a snapper pan roasted and filet mignon which came out warm. By this time we were frustrated and asked for the bill from our waiter Raul. Even though we were celebrating a birthday we never asked for the $10 tiny three scoops of ice cream and the bland birthday signing. When the bill arrived the charged us for the ice cream and a seltzer water we never received plus a 20% service charge for the worse service ever. Even when it was time to get the bill we asked our original non attentive waiter but another waiter brought it out to us. It seem like in the area we were seated we were last priority and treated as such as I saw patrons outside receiving multiple drinks and their food in timely matters.
