    mike making my drink
    Stephani M.

#155 While waiting in the airport for my flight I decided to skip the Delta Sky Club and visit the ATL Bar and Grill as I saw the Ravens game was about to start, there were plenty of TV's and a few empty chairs. I was quickly greeted by Mike, who was replete with that perfect bartender personality. He had a great smile, a friendly demeanor and was quick to give me the vodka list since they did not carry my favorite, Belvedere. We decided on a Grey Goose martini with a twist. The guy next to me ordered the same but "dirty." The bar is clean and modern looking. They offer several ports and jacks for phone, computer, tablet, etc. charging as one waits for their flight in the Delta area. The menu is large; however, I had just stuffed my face with a farewell meal with the parents, so I passed and decided on a strictly liquid experience. Mike was quick to take care of me as well as everyone else at the bar. He was friendly, spoke about the game with me and others and really made the experience fun. I actually did not realize how long I was waiting on my flight due to his great service. When it was time for my flight, I paid Mike, unplugged my iPhone and scurried off to my gate to await my trip home. I would return to the ATL Bar & Grill even though we are Sky Club members because I loved the atmosphere and the service. Stephani Smiles for ATL Bar & Grill ;)

Fast and very friendly service. Good fries. Good coffee. A sports bar with good pub grub, conveniently located at the far end of the terminal right by our gate. Thank you for being there. Location, of course, is key to any restaurant ;) AMBIANCE ========== Well, it's in an open air restaurant in an airplane terminal. It has lots of tv's and lots of metal for the bar, tables and chairs. It was clean though. 3/5 FOOD ====== I had the french fries and coffee - both were good, fairly standard. 3/5 PRICE / VALUE ======= Lunch for 4 was about $50, not too bad. 3/5 SERVICE ========== Service was great. I loved our waiter. 5/5

Food at an airport. What do you really expect? It was okay, nothing really stood out about this place. I got the egg and cheese English muffin, egg was fried and cheese slices was just placed on it. It eventually melted? Haha. Potatoes were good with ketchup and warm when we got it. Fast.

    Get the fish tacos!!!

If you are on a layover in Atlanta or came to airport early, you gotta stop by by ATL bar and grill. I had the fish tocas, the truffle fries, both were delish. Now make sure the best bartender in ATL airport serves you. Her name is Jess. Not only is she atentative, she makes great suggestions and has a super smile. Really good looking woman too. Her service is impeccable and that's what counts

Had a three he layover so I decided to stop here. We promptly greeted by staff. Staff very friendly and was willing to make any type of libation we wanted. I had the strawberry mojito ( was super excited that they had mint leaves) my mojito was yummy. I stepped out on a whim and has blackened fish tacos and they were good. Will return to this establishment again the me time I have a layover in ATL

This little bar is located at the very end of Concourse A and can be really packed. It can also be louder than most bars as everything is made of metal and clangs every time someone does something. But there's some good to make up for that and the very far location, and that's the beer prices. You can get beers for $7 a glass here and they serve some local stuff as well as a long list of premium cocktails. But with the typical airport prices for food and the far away location to anything else, I wouldn't make too much of an effort to come out to this one unless you are already on this side of A.

    Fish tacos!

A small restaurant at the end of the terminal. The bartender told me that the fish tacos are the best on their menu, so I got it. Great texture, good sauce, but the fish in the tacos is catfish and it was a little undercooked. For me, I find nothing more gross and smelly than undercooked catfish, so I didn't finish all 3 tacos. Next time, I'll ask for it to be extra done.

Great for airport fare. Had the chicken tacos and was very good! Bar staff was friendly and probably the largest variety of alcohol in any airport I have seen!

Good place for a beer and Pokemon Go. Had a Red Hare IPA it's a local seasonal. Concourse A has a bunch of poke stops which I did an hour walk visiting them. Ended up at ATL bar to chill and have a beer. Lured the stop and watched a little golf. Fit the bill at the time.

With the stress of the air port it was nice to come and have great service at the bar! Our bartenders were kel and Harley!

Philly cheese steak and tots over-salted (OK, it's a bar) but very good. Decent cabernet. Convenient to gates. Good pick

Absolutely horrible. Tiny tables crowded together to eat over cooked eggs and burned bacon and potatoes. Eat elsewhere or go hungry.

Ordered chicken tenders meal and it looked like a kid's meal from McDonald's. Tender's were nugget size and barely any fries. For $13!

Entering right at opening.. I had my pick of any table. It's a sports bar with plenty of Tv screens all around. Booths actually have their own TV, I thought that was pretty neat. Christina was my server. Christina offered suggestions off the menu. I went for blackened Salmon Wrap(lettuce, tomato and cheddar cheese) with seasoned crispy fries. The wrap was so good served with ranch. Fries were crispy and soft on the inside. No they were not crinkle, but so good. I got a strawberry lemonade with Tito's added. Yum!! This is a great spot to come watch your favorite sport game. Great music playing. Great mix of R&b and Pop. Go check it out. Syoy

I'll start with saying, expectations weren't high since it was a sports bar. My first observation was that there are a ton of TVs. It was lunch time so w we were 1 of 2 tables sat. I'll start with the good, our host/server was very nice throughout the experience. Everything came out fast and she did her best when it took a turn. I had fish and chips, my Dad had a patty melt and sister had a quesadilla. Everything came out hot, portions decent and decent flavor. The bad: I got about halfway through my plate to find a penny, yes, a PENNY, under my fish and broccoli. We nicely brought it to our servers attention and she quickly took the plate back to the kitchen for a resolution. Well the resolution or lack there was is where it took a turn. The manager comes to the table, already defensive, leans from behind the booth to say, "I made that plate, I know I didn't put a penny there." We all blanked stared him confused. So then he says, "what you want another fish or something?" After responding that we don't even have Pennies and asking him is that his conclusion...he walks away, no resolution just attitude. That blew our entire experience. The icing on the cake is that we still paid for a full meal, didn't even get to finish mine and 20% gratuity was automatically added.

The service was wonderful too. The wait staff were knowledgeable and attentive, and the whole experience somehow made you forget you were sitting inside an airport. Even the music was great. They had some of the best '90s R&B playing, which made the whole thing even more enjoyable. Great food, great service, great music, and such a good time. The music and energy always make for a fun night out, and it's easy to see why my friends enjoy coming here. A special shoutout to the fried okra--perfectly seasoned with a crispy coating--and the chicken sandwich, which was juicy, flavorful, and definitely one I'd order again. They were both excellent! My only disappointment was the service timing. I arrived first (a little early because I had a headache), and once my friends arrived about 20 minutes later, I placed my order immediately. They ordered after I did, yet somehow all of their meals came out about 20 minutes before mine. Don't get me wrong--when my food finally arrived, it was fresh, hot, and absolutely worth the wait.
