    Classic Caesar Salad
    Luke H.

Last Friday for a late lunch, I stopped by here. It was easy to pick where I wanted to sit since it wasn't packed at all. Service was fast and good with three or four servers and it being less than half packed. Scanning a QR code, you can order and also start a tab which I did. I ordered shrimp cocktails, coastal shrimp tacos, Caesar salad, and a bowl of lobster bisque. In less than 8 minutes, got my entire order. The lobster bisque was nice and hot with good chunks of meat, very tasty. Everything else, mehhh. Also, noticed a couple of gnats and flies here and there...

Lobster bisque arrived luke warm in a very small paper cup and they forgot the slice of bread (which costs a dollar extra). French fries were soggy and unevenly seasoned. They charge tip upon placing your order... which you do on your phone. They also forgot a Caesar salad from our order.

The pasta was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The sauce was creamy without being too heavy, and the flavors were well-balanced. Loved the fresh parmesan on top! The service was friendly, and the ambiance was relaxing.

    So much happiness. Not.

Order everything online. Almost zero employees. The single bartender here is extremely unpleasant. Our flight was delayed by 7 hours. The bartender's sour face here is maybe worse. I won't come back.

Really good food and friendly service. Being an airport restaurant it was pricey but that was to be expected. I had grouper sandwich and wife had shrimp tacos. Both were excellent.

I visited this place in between my flight from Fort Worth to Atlanta. My flight was about to board in a few minutes and I wanted a good hot meal before my 9-1/2 hour flight back to Hawaii. This place is located right next to Gate F9 (my flight was at F7) Delta Airlines. I chose this place because I didn't want a convenience store sandwich or some fast food joint. SERVICE: I sat down and was greeted right away. The waiter provided me with some suggestions, which I took his advice. I had the catfish and grits. I also ordered a cocktail shrimp appetizer. My meal came out right away and I did not expect the presentation to be so beautiful, being that I was eating in the airport. I also explained to the waiter that my flight was boarding soon and he was very attentive in having our food come out quick. FOOD: My cousin ate the trout and I had the catfish and grits, my little brother had some kind of Quesadilla which he didn't share with us. I tried both the trout and catfish and both were delicious. I thought I was going to pay a lot for mediocre food, and I was wrong. I thought both dishes were delicious. I was glad I got to enjoy a nice hot meal before my long flight. I was able to sleep peacefully on the flight home. LOCATION: If you're reading this review, keep in mind that this is located INSIDE of the airport near the gates. So unless you're flying out or in, don't expect to get to this establishment :) No parking here hehe Overall, I was very pleased with the service and the food here. The pricing is a little more than the normal airport foods but it was well worth it.

Should you be so unfortunate as to find yourself stuck within the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, or more particularly in Maynard Jackson Terminal, more commonly known as Terminal F, there is some shining light. Though this particular terminal lacks most of the food offerings, concessions and stores of the other terminals they do have a Jekyll Island Seafood restaurant. Like all airport restaurants, its nothing special, not on a par with their Jekyll Island restaurant on Main Street but it's far better than most other choices. For my meal I chose their Crab Cakes ($15) which came with a really good apple/corn relish and remoulade sauce. Though the crab certainly was lump or jumbo lump, its seafood combination with shrimp produced a rather good overall flavor especially when paired with a draught of their L G Cooter Brown. If this were a downtown type of restaurant it might only get a two stars but for an airport restaurant it's a healthy A-OK three stars.

Their corn crab soup was the best tasting thing I've had all week. I'll be back if I ever come through Atlanta terminal F again.

My hood ordered some fried gizzards. I don't eat chicken, but he said it was so delicious. The only thing I didn't like were the fries. I asked for well done fries and they were soft and yucky. I wanted fried fish but not French fries and I saw that there were grilled veggies on the menu. No substitutions. I saw conch on the menu and wanted to sub it for the shrimp on one of the combos. No substitutions. That's the reason I didn't give them 5 stars. The young lady they have working the register was pleasant and even when she told me no, it wasn't a Nasty No. There are tables to sit down and eat so the atmosphere is not bad and honestly what you should expect from a spot like this. The prices are very reasonable and you get a good bit of food so the value is on point. I had the catfish nuggets and they were cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of seasoning. They were crunch on the outside and soft and flaky on the inside. The tarter tasted homemade. The fries were nothing special and I had a plate full of them remaining. The coleslaw was decent and added a reprieve to the fried fish. The grilled veggies were probably from a bag but they were seasoned decently and did the job. Bae had the gizzards and they were pretty good as well. (Of course I had to taste em lol) I was disappointed that I couldn't get conch or conch fritters or conch salad but it was late and I know spot run out of popular items sometimes. Nevertheless, I will be back.

While the seafood is consistently good, my experience last Sunday during the World Cup Finals completely altered my perspective on this establishment. Because the restaurant was busy and Karl was not working, I sat with a new female bartender who provided excellent customer service. However, a mistake occurred when she accidentally brought out a crab bucket instead of my usual shrimp bucket order. She was very polite and immediately took it back to correct it. While I was waiting, a white manager with tattoo name (I believe name Justin) approached me and aggressively stated that he does not typically remove items from tickets. When I politely explained that I did not order the crab bucket and am a frequent guest, he became highly disrespectful, raised his voice, and told me I could leave if I don't like his attitude. Though he eventually changed his attitude and adjusted the bill after I offered to just pay and leave, the experience was entirely ruined. The bartender apologized multiple times, but the unprofessional behavior came entirely from management. Due to this severe lack of respect and poor leadership, I will not be returning to what used to be my favorite local spot.
