I'm going to say flavorful salami, rich mortadella, sweet tender ham, and creamy provolone. The key, as with that N'awlins original, is bright flavorful house-made chopped green-olive tapenade, a heavenly mixture with garlic and soft sweet peppers, wet with a copious amount of the freshest olive oil. A muffuletta is so much more than the ingredients-list. And this is wonderful handful and mouthful and stomach-full. It was lunch, on the way to a busy day, so we exercised rare self-control to share a hand-crafted Mr. Big: a Dr.Pepper-like cocktail, nicely sweet next to that sandwich.
