Some of the best wonton soup around. Everything I have ordered has been great. Egg rolls are funky, almost like they use smoked cabbage.

The papaya salad was different but had a lot of good flavor. The fried rice was delicious with a curry flavor to it! The Tao dumpling soup was super yummy! Would definitely recommend to a friend and can't wait to come back!

We arrived around 10:15 p.m. on a Friday night, with the restaurant closing at 11:00 p.m. Maybe that contributed to our experience, although several other parties were seated after us, so we weren't the last customers of the evening. We ordered quickly since we already knew what we wanted. My partner ordered the special, I ordered the ramen, and we shared the fried shrimp dumplings as an appetizer. Our server was friendly and attentive, though it was clear the staff was beginning to transition into closing mode. Unfortunately, that affected the atmosphere. While we were still eating, employees were spraying tables and mopping nearby. The smell of cleaning chemicals mixed with our food, which made the dining experience less enjoyable. When my ramen arrived, it looked more like a wonton soup or pho than the ramen I was expecting. I didn't question it because I assumed it might be their interpretation of the dish. However, the broth was quite bland, and the vegetables were still somewhat undercooked. The chicken had no seasoning, it tasted like it was boiled within the broth. After a few bites and sips, I decided not to finish it. My partner seemed to enjoy his meal, though he tends to be pretty easygoing when it comes to food. I didn't try his dish since it was very spicy and that's not really my thing. The restaurant is in a great location on Central Avenue, which makes it a fun area to walk around and people-watch. However, with most dishes priced around $20, I expected a better overall experience and higher quality food. Unfortunately, this isn't a place I would return to.

Next time I would try to order chicken pho with the beef broth as it had more rich flavors . The chicken wings 5/5 were one of the surprises of the meal crispy, well-seasoned, and came with a sweet chili sauce. The fresh spring rolls 4/5 were exactly what I was craving peanut sauce was great. For drinks, I loved the mango smoothie 5/5 It tasted like real mango instead of syrup. I also tried the artichoke drink 5/5 which brought back memories because it's something you don't see everywhere as it's homemade with fresh artichoke and glass jelly and chia seeds, The pandan waffle 4/5 was warm, soft on the inside, slightly chewy on the outside, and not overly sweet. I asked for some syrup on the side to eat with the waffle The service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and attentive, even provided scissors for the kids pho and syrup on the side for waffle. Small touches like that really stand out.

From the unique and delicious wines (that they let you try so you can ensure you find one you love!) to the melt-in-your-mouth food, I could eat here multiple times a week if my bank account and waistline would let me!! It was not only a thoughtful touch and nice piece of history, but one of the best meals I've ever had. I 100% recommend Bin 6 South - don't sleep on it!

At the outset, the server spilled a container of salad dressing on one of our party. Ok. No problem. Accidents happen. I ordered broiled salmon. The server asked which side I wanted. She said hers was very overcooked and dry). After we finished our entrees, the server asked if anyone wanted dessert. I ordered a apple crisp to go. After paying the bill, I looked at the itemized charges. I was not happy to see that I had been charged $3.00 for the "side" salad. When I asked the server about it, she said that the salad was a "premium" side--ergo, the $3.00). This should have been revealed to me prior to ordering it. When we first walked in, we were greeted with a smile and asked if we had a reservation. We didn't, but they were able to find us a table. It wasn't very busy when we went, but it did take a little while for them to get the table ready. The decor is definitely one of my favorite things about this place. It really feels like a library and restaurant combined, with books everywhere and the dining area downstairs. It's such a cute and cozy setting for lunch. I ordered the crispy chicken Cobb salad. It was refreshing and overall pretty good, but honestly, nothing too special in my opinion. The fried chicken wasn't as crispy as I expected and was a little dry, so I definitely needed some water with it. My husband got the club sandwich, and I actually really liked his! It was yummy and refreshing, but again, nothing that completely wowed us. For drinks, I got a glass of house wine which was really good, and my husband got an Old Fashioned. There were so many mosquitoes and flies in the restaurant, unfortunately Overall, we had a nice experience and really enjoyed the atmosphere, but considering the prices, I expected the food to be a little more impressive. I'm not sure if we would come back just for the food, but it's definitely a cute spot to check out if you're looking for a nice lunch with a unique atmosphere!
